And say to the land of Israel, Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I[ am] against thee, and will draw forth my sword out of his sheath, and will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked.

and say to her:‘ This is what the Lord says: I am against you. I will draw my sword from its sheath and cut off from you both the righteous and the wicked.

Tell them,‘ The Lord says,“ I am against you. I will pull out my sword. I will remove from you godly people and sinful people alike.

and say to the land of Israel, Thus says the Lord: Behold, I am against you and will draw my sword from its sheath and will cut off from you both righteous and wicked.

Tell her,‘ This is what the Lord says: I am your enemy, O Israel, and I am about to unsheath my sword to destroy your people— the righteous and the wicked alike.

and say to it,‘ This is what the LORD says: I am against you. I will draw my sword from its sheath and cut off from you both the righteous and the wicked.

and say to the land of Israel,‘ This is what the Lord says:“ Behold, I am against you; and I will draw My sword from its sheath and cut off from you the righteous and the wicked.

and say to the land of Israel,‘ Thus says the Lord:“ Behold, I am against you, and I will draw My sword out of its sheath and cut off both righteous and wicked from you.

and say to the land of Israel, Thus saith Jehovah: Behold, I am against thee, and will draw forth my sword out of its sheath, and will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked.

and say to it: This is what the Lord says: I am against you. I will draw My sword from its sheath and cut off both the righteous and the wicked from you.

and say to them,‘ This is what the LORD says: Look, I am against you. I will draw my sword from its sheath and cut off from you both the righteous and the wicked.

Tell the land of Israel,‘ Yahweh says:“ Behold, I am against you, and will draw my sword out of its sheath, and will cut off from you the righteous and the wicked.

Behold, I[ am] against thee, O inhabitant of the valley,[ and] rock of the plain, saith the LORD; which say, Who shall come down against us? or who shall enter into our habitations?

This[ is] one[ thing], therefore I said[ it], He destroyeth the perfect and the wicked.

Behold, I[ am] against thee, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will burn her chariots in the smoke, and the sword shall devour thy young lions: and I will cut off thy prey from the earth, and the voice of thy messengers shall no more be heard.

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I, even I,[ am] against thee, and will execute judgments in the midst of thee in the sight of the nations.

Behold, I[ am] against thee, saith the LORD of hosts; and I will discover thy skirts upon thy face, and I will shew the nations thy nakedness, and the kingdoms thy shame.

Also, thou son of man, appoint thee two ways, that the sword of the king of Babylon may come: both twain shall come forth out of one land: and choose thou a place, choose[ it] at the head of the way to the city.

A third part of thee shall die with the pestilence, and with famine shall they be consumed in the midst of thee: and a third part shall fall by the sword round about thee; and I will scatter a third part into all the winds, and I will draw out a sword after them.

O Assyrian, the rod of mine anger, and the staff in their hand is mine indignation.

All[ things come] alike to all:[ there is] one event to the righteous, and to the wicked; to the good and to the clean, and to the unclean; to him that sacrificeth, and to him that sacrificeth not: as[ is] the good, so[ is] the sinner;[ and] he that sweareth, as[ he] that feareth an oath.

And I will scatter you among the heathen, and will draw out a sword after you: and your land shall be desolate, and your cities waste.

Behold, I[ am] against thee,[ O thou] most proud, saith the Lord GOD of hosts: for thy day is come, the time[ that] I will visit thee.

And I will bring a sword upon you, that shall avenge the quarrel of[ my] covenant: and when ye are gathered together within your cities, I will send the pestilence among you; and ye shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy.

For thus saith the Lord GOD; How much more when I send my four sore judgments upon Jerusalem, the sword, and the famine, and the noisome beast, and the pestilence, to cut off from it man and beast?

And to the others he said in mine hearing, Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity:Slay utterly old[ and] young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom[ is] the mark; and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which[ were] before the house.

For my sword shall be bathed in heaven: behold, it shall come down upon Idumea, and upon the people of my curse, to judgment.

Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man[ that is] my fellow, saith the LORD of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones.

Behold, I[ am] against thee, O destroying mountain, saith the LORD, which destroyest all the earth: and I will stretch out mine hand upon thee, and roll thee down from the rocks, and will make thee a burnt mountain.

O thou sword of the LORD, how long[ will it be] ere thou be quiet? put up thyself into thy scabbard, rest, and be still.How can it be quiet, seeing the LORD hath given it a charge against Ashkelon, and against the sea shore? there hath he appointed it.

The enemy said, I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; my lust shall be satisfied upon them; I will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them.

If I whet my glittering sword, and mine hand take hold on judgment; I will render vengeance to mine enemies, and will reward them that hate me.I will make mine arrows drunk with blood, and my sword shall devour flesh;[ and that] with the blood of the slain and of the captives, from the beginning of revenges upon the enemy.

Son of man, prophesy, and say, Thus saith the LORD; Say, A sword, a sword is sharpened, and also furbished:It is sharpened to make a sore slaughter; it is furbished that it may glitter: should we then make mirth? it contemneth the rod of my son,[ as] every tree.And he hath given it to be furbished, that it may be handled: this sword is sharpened, and it is furbished, to give it into the hand of the slayer.

Ye Ethiopians also, ye[ shall be] slain by my sword.

Thou[ art] my battle axe[ and] weapons of war: for with thee will I break in pieces the nations, and with thee will I destroy kingdoms;

And it shall come to pass, if they say unto thee, Whither shall we go forth? then thou shalt tell them, Thus saith the LORD; Such as[ are] for death, to death; and such as[ are] for the sword, to the sword; and such as[ are] for the famine, to the famine; and such as[ are] for the captivity, to the captivity.And I will appoint over them four kinds, saith the LORD: the sword to slay, and the dogs to tear, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the earth, to devour and destroy.And I will cause them to be removed into all kingdoms of the earth, because of Manasseh the son of Hezekiah king of Judah, for[ that] which he did in Jerusalem.

Arise, O LORD, disappoint him, cast him down: deliver my soul from the wicked,[ which is] thy sword:

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I[ am] against thee, O Tyrus, and will cause many nations to come up against thee, as the sea causeth his waves to come up.

Or[ if] I bring a sword upon that land, and say, Sword, go through the land; so that I cut off man and beast from it:
