『人子啊，你要傳神言說：關於亞捫人和他們的辱罵、主永恆主是這麼說的：你要說：有刀劍，有拔出來的刀劍要屠殺，是已擦亮，要燦爛發光、像閃電的——

“人子啊，要发预言说：主耶和华论到亚扪人和他们的凌辱，吩咐我如此说：有刀，有拔出来的刀，已经擦亮，为行杀戮，使他像闪电以行吞灭。

“人子啊，你要说预言；你要说，论到亚扪人和他们的凌辱，主耶和华吩咐我如此说：有刀，拔出来的刀，已经擦亮，为了行杀戮；它亮如闪电以行吞灭。

“人子啊，你要说预言；你要说，论到亚扪人和他们的凌辱，主耶和华吩咐我如此说：有刀，拔出来的刀，已经擦亮，为了行杀戮；它亮如闪电以行吞灭。

“人子啊，你要说有关亚扪人及其耻辱的预言，告诉他们，主耶和华说，‘有刀，有刀已出鞘，为要杀戮；它亮如闪电，要行毁灭。

“人子啊！你要说预言：论到亚扪人和他们的侮辱，主耶和华这样说：‘你要说：有一把刀，有一把刀拔出来，是为要杀戮；擦亮，是为要毁灭，为要闪烁发光。

「人子啊，要發預言說：主耶和華論到亞捫人和他們的凌辱，吩咐我如此說：有刀，有拔出來的刀，已經擦亮，為行殺戮，使他像閃電以行吞滅。

「人子啊，你要說預言；你要說，論到亞捫人和他們的凌辱，主耶和華吩咐我如此說：有刀，拔出來的刀，已經擦亮，為了行殺戮；它亮如閃電以行吞滅。

「人子啊，你要說預言；你要說，論到亞捫人和他們的凌辱，主耶和華吩咐我如此說：有刀，拔出來的刀，已經擦亮，為了行殺戮；它亮如閃電以行吞滅。

「人子啊，你要說有關亞捫人及其恥辱的預言，告訴他們，主耶和華說，『有刀，有刀已出鞘，為要殺戮；它亮如閃電，要行毀滅。

“人子啊！你要說預言：論到亞捫人和他們的侮辱，主耶和華這樣說：‘你要說：有一把刀，有一把刀拔出來，是為要殺戮；擦亮，是為要毀滅，為要閃爍發光。

惟爾人子、當預言云、主耶和華論亞捫人、及其侮辱之言曰、有刃出鞘、磨光殺戮、猶如閃電、以行吞滅、

惟爾人子、當以未來事語人、云、亞捫人凌辱以色列族、故主耶和華曰、鋒刃已拔、加以磨礪、光芒閃爍、殺戮人民。

惟爾人子、亞捫人凌辱以色列族、爾當指彼言未來之事、曰、主天主如是云、有刃、有拔出之刃、為行殺戮而磨、以致光明閃爍、

“ And you, son of man, prophesy and say,‘ This is what the Sovereign Lord says about the Ammonites and their insults:“‘ A sword, a sword, drawn for the slaughter, polished to consume and to flash like lightning!

“ Son of man, prophesy. Say,‘ The Lord and King speaks about the Ammonites. He also talks about the way they laugh because of Jerusalem’s fall. He says,“‘ “A sword! A sword! Nebuchadnezzar’s sword is ready to kill you. It is shined to destroy you. It flashes like lightning.

“ And you, son of man, prophesy, and say, Thus says the Lord God concerning the Ammonites and concerning their reproach; say, A sword, a sword is drawn for the slaughter. It is polished to consume and to flash like lightning—

“ And now, son of man, prophesy concerning the Ammonites and their mockery. Give them this message from the Sovereign Lord:“ A sword, a sword is drawn for your slaughter. It is polished to destroy, flashing like lightning!

“ Now you, son of man, prophesy, and say,‘ This is what the Lord GOD says concerning the Ammonites and their contempt.’ You are to proclaim,‘ A sword! A sword is drawn for slaughter, polished to consume, to flash like lightning.

“ And you, son of man, prophesy and say,‘ This is what the Lord God says concerning the sons of Ammon and their taunting,’ and say:‘ A sword, a sword is drawn, sharpened for the slaughter, to make it consume, so that it may be like lightning—

“ And you, son of man, prophesy and say,‘ Thus says the Lord God concerning the Ammonites and concerning their reproach,’ and say:‘ A sword, a sword is drawn, Polished for slaughter, For consuming, for flashing—

And thou, son of man, prophesy, and say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah concerning the children of Ammon, and concerning their reproach; and say thou, A sword, a sword is drawn, for the slaughter it is furbished, to cause it to devour, that it may be as lightning;

“ Now prophesy, son of man, and say: This is what the Lord God says concerning the Ammonites and their contempt. You are to proclaim: A sword! A sword is drawn for slaughter, polished to consume, to flash like lightning.

And thou, son of man, prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD concerning the Ammonites, and concerning their reproach; even say thou, The sword, the sword[ is] drawn: for the slaughter[ it is] furbished, to consume because of the glittering:

“ As for you, son of man, prophesy and say,‘ This is what the sovereign LORD says concerning the Ammonites and their coming humiliation; say:“‘ A sword, a sword drawn for slaughter, polished to consume, to flash like lightning–

“ You, son of man, prophesy, and say,‘ The Lord Yahweh says this concerning the children of Ammon, and concerning their reproach:“ A sword! A sword is drawn! It is polished for the slaughter, to cause it to devour, that it may be as lightning;

『人子啊，你要傳神言說：主這麼說：你要說：有刀，有刀，又磨快，又擦亮；磨快是要大行屠殺，擦亮是要它像閃電！我們哪裏可歡樂呢？我的兒子啊，有根權柄之杖藐視所有的樹呢！

我聽見摩押的嘲罵，和亞捫人的毁謗；他們怎樣嘲罵我的人民，自誇自大以侵犯他們的境界。故此萬軍之永恆主以色列之上帝發神諭說：『我指着永活的我來起誓：摩押必像所多瑪，亞捫人必像蛾摩拉，都被刺草和鹽坑佔據，荒涼涼到永遠。我剩下的餘民必擄掠他們，我國中餘剩的人必得着他們以為業。這事臨到他們、是因他們的狂傲，自誇自大以攻擊萬軍之永恆主的人民。

『人子啊，你要板着臉向亞捫人，傳神言攻擊他們。要對亞捫人說：你們要聽主永恆主的話：主永恆主這麼說：我的聖所被褻瀆，以色列地變成了荒涼，猶大家流亡去：以上每一件事發生時，你既然總說「啊哈！」來譏笑每一件，那麼你就看吧，我必將你交給東方人以為業；他們必在你中間搭營房來居住，在你中間造他們的居所；他們必喫你的果子，喝你的奶子。我必使拉巴成為駱駝的場所，使亞捫人之地變做羊羣的躺臥處；你們就知道我乃是永恆主。永恆主這麼說：你既拍手頓腳、滿懷輕蔑滿心歡喜以色列地所遭受的，那麼你就看吧，我必伸手攻擊你，將你交於列國做擄掠物；我必從外族之民中剪除你，使你從列邦中滅亡；我必將你滅盡；你就知道我乃是永恆主。

論亞捫人。永恆主這麼說：『以色列沒有兒子麼？或是沒有後嗣麼？為甚麼米勒公竟佔取了迦得之地以為業，而他的人民又住在迦得的城市呢？所以你看，日子必到，永恆主發神諭說，我必使人聽見戰爭的吶喊，攻擊亞捫人之拉巴的喊嚷；拉巴必成為淒涼的廢堆山；屬它的鄉鎮必被火焚燒；以色列必把先前佔取他的、佔取過來：這是永恆主說的。『宮堡啊，哀號哦，因為城已被蹂躪了；拉巴的人民哪，呼喊哦！要以麻布束腰而號哭！要刻身哀傷而跑來跑去：因為米勒公必流亡去，屬他的祭司和首領都必一概流亡。轉離正道的人哪，你倚靠你自己的財寶，說：「誰能來攻擊我呢？」為甚麼因有山谷、就是你那有水流着的山谷、而誇口呢？主萬軍之永恆主發神諭說：看吧，我必使恐怖臨到你，從你四圍的眾人中而來；你們必被趕出，各人往前直走，無人把逃民集合攏來。

永恆主這麼說：『亞捫人三番四次地悖逆，我必不收回成命，因為他們剖開了基列的孕婦，擴張自己的境界。我必在爭戰的日子用吶喊、在旋風之日用風暴點火在拉巴的城牆，燒燬它的宮堡；他們的王必陷於流亡，王和首領一道』：這是永恆主說的。

在野地裏一切無草木的高處上有毁滅者來到；因為永恆主的刀從地這邊到地那邊進行着吞滅之事呢；凡有血肉的沒有一個得平安。
