“人子啊！你要說預言：論到亞捫人和他們的侮辱，主耶和華這樣說：‘你要說：有一把刀，有一把刀拔出來，是為要殺戮；擦亮，是為要毀滅，為要閃爍發光。

“人子啊，要发预言说：主耶和华论到亚扪人和他们的凌辱，吩咐我如此说：有刀，有拔出来的刀，已经擦亮，为行杀戮，使他像闪电以行吞灭。

“人子啊，你要说预言；你要说，论到亚扪人和他们的凌辱，主耶和华吩咐我如此说：有刀，拔出来的刀，已经擦亮，为了行杀戮；它亮如闪电以行吞灭。

“人子啊，你要说预言；你要说，论到亚扪人和他们的凌辱，主耶和华吩咐我如此说：有刀，拔出来的刀，已经擦亮，为了行杀戮；它亮如闪电以行吞灭。

“人子啊，你要说有关亚扪人及其耻辱的预言，告诉他们，主耶和华说，‘有刀，有刀已出鞘，为要杀戮；它亮如闪电，要行毁灭。

“人子啊！你要说预言：论到亚扪人和他们的侮辱，主耶和华这样说：‘你要说：有一把刀，有一把刀拔出来，是为要杀戮；擦亮，是为要毁灭，为要闪烁发光。

「人子啊，你要說預言；你要說，論到亞捫人和他們的凌辱，主耶和華吩咐我如此說：有刀，拔出來的刀，已經擦亮，為了行殺戮；它亮如閃電以行吞滅。

「人子啊，你要說有關亞捫人及其恥辱的預言，告訴他們，主耶和華說，『有刀，有刀已出鞘，為要殺戮；它亮如閃電，要行毀滅。

『人子啊，你要傳神言說：關於亞捫人和他們的辱罵、主永恆主是這麼說的：你要說：有刀劍，有拔出來的刀劍要屠殺，是已擦亮，要燦爛發光、像閃電的——

惟爾人子、當預言云、主耶和華論亞捫人、及其侮辱之言曰、有刃出鞘、磨光殺戮、猶如閃電、以行吞滅、

惟爾人子、當以未來事語人、云、亞捫人凌辱以色列族、故主耶和華曰、鋒刃已拔、加以磨礪、光芒閃爍、殺戮人民。

惟爾人子、亞捫人凌辱以色列族、爾當指彼言未來之事、曰、主天主如是云、有刃、有拔出之刃、為行殺戮而磨、以致光明閃爍、

“ And you, son of man, prophesy and say,‘ This is what the Sovereign Lord says about the Ammonites and their insults:“‘ A sword, a sword, drawn for the slaughter, polished to consume and to flash like lightning!

“ Son of man, prophesy. Say,‘ The Lord and King speaks about the Ammonites. He also talks about the way they laugh because of Jerusalem’s fall. He says,“‘ “A sword! A sword! Nebuchadnezzar’s sword is ready to kill you. It is shined to destroy you. It flashes like lightning.

“ And you, son of man, prophesy, and say, Thus says the Lord God concerning the Ammonites and concerning their reproach; say, A sword, a sword is drawn for the slaughter. It is polished to consume and to flash like lightning—

“ And now, son of man, prophesy concerning the Ammonites and their mockery. Give them this message from the Sovereign Lord:“ A sword, a sword is drawn for your slaughter. It is polished to destroy, flashing like lightning!

“ Now you, son of man, prophesy, and say,‘ This is what the Lord GOD says concerning the Ammonites and their contempt.’ You are to proclaim,‘ A sword! A sword is drawn for slaughter, polished to consume, to flash like lightning.

“ And you, son of man, prophesy and say,‘ This is what the Lord God says concerning the sons of Ammon and their taunting,’ and say:‘ A sword, a sword is drawn, sharpened for the slaughter, to make it consume, so that it may be like lightning—

“ And you, son of man, prophesy and say,‘ Thus says the Lord God concerning the Ammonites and concerning their reproach,’ and say:‘ A sword, a sword is drawn, Polished for slaughter, For consuming, for flashing—

And thou, son of man, prophesy, and say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah concerning the children of Ammon, and concerning their reproach; and say thou, A sword, a sword is drawn, for the slaughter it is furbished, to cause it to devour, that it may be as lightning;

“ Now prophesy, son of man, and say: This is what the Lord God says concerning the Ammonites and their contempt. You are to proclaim: A sword! A sword is drawn for slaughter, polished to consume, to flash like lightning.

And thou, son of man, prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD concerning the Ammonites, and concerning their reproach; even say thou, The sword, the sword[ is] drawn: for the slaughter[ it is] furbished, to consume because of the glittering:

“ As for you, son of man, prophesy and say,‘ This is what the sovereign LORD says concerning the Ammonites and their coming humiliation; say:“‘ A sword, a sword drawn for slaughter, polished to consume, to flash like lightning–

“ You, son of man, prophesy, and say,‘ The Lord Yahweh says this concerning the children of Ammon, and concerning their reproach:“ A sword! A sword is drawn! It is polished for the slaughter, to cause it to devour, that it may be as lightning;

你要定出一條路，使刀臨到亞捫的拉巴，又要定出另一條路，使刀臨到猶大，攻擊堅固城耶路撒冷。

“人子啊！你要預言，說：‘主耶和華這樣說：有一把刀，有一把磨利了的刀，是擦亮了的刀；磨利，是為要大行殺戮，擦亮，是為要閃爍發光！我們怎能快樂呢？我的兒子藐視管教的杖和一切勸告（“勸告”原文作“木頭”）。

我聽見了摩押人的辱罵之言，聽見了亞捫人的毀謗之語，他們辱罵我的子民，又自誇自大侵犯他們的境界。因此，萬軍之耶和華以色列的神說：“我指著我的永生起誓：摩押人必要像所多瑪，亞捫人必定像蛾摩拉，成為刺草和鹽坑之所，永遠荒涼之地。我餘下的子民必擄掠他們，我國中所餘的要得著他們為業。”由於他們的狂傲，這事就臨到他們；因為他們自誇自大，辱罵萬軍之耶和華的子民。

“人子啊！你要面對亞捫人，說預言攻擊他們。你要對亞捫人說：‘你們要聽主耶和華的話。主耶和華這樣說：我的聖所被褻瀆，以色列地荒涼，猶大家被擄去的時候，你說：“哈哈！”所以我要把你交給東方人作產業；他們必在你那裡安營，在你那裡設立居所；他們必吃你的果子，喝你的奶。我必使拉巴成為牧放駱駝的地方，使亞捫人之地成為羊群躺臥之處。你們就知道我是耶和華。主耶和華這樣說：因為你手舞足蹈，心存輕蔑，因以色列地的遭遇而歡喜。所以我必伸手攻擊你，把你交給列國作掠物；我必從萬族中剪除你，使你從列邦中滅亡；我必消滅你，你就知道我是耶和華。’”

論到亞捫，耶和華這樣說：“以色列沒有子孫嗎？沒有後嗣嗎？為甚麼米勒公竟承受了迦得為業呢？它的人民為甚麼住在迦得的城市裡呢？因此，看哪！日子快到（這是耶和華的宣告），我必使戰爭的吶喊聲響起，有敵人來攻擊亞捫的拉巴；拉巴必成為一片廢墟，屬它的鄉鎮（“鄉鎮”原文作“女子”）必被火焚燒。那時以色列人必從侵略他們的人的手中收回土地。”這是耶和華說的。“希實本哪，你要哀號！因為艾城已被毀滅。拉巴的居民（“居民”原文作“女子”），你們要呼喊，要腰束麻布，要哀哭，要在城牆內跑來跑去。因為米勒公，以及事奉它的祭司和領袖，都必一同被擄去。背道的居民（“居民”原文作“女子”）哪！你們為甚麼因有山谷，就是你們那肥沃的山谷而誇口呢？你們十分倚靠自己的財寶，說：‘有誰敢來攻擊我們呢？’看哪！我必使你們因四圍的列國而恐慌，這是主萬軍之耶和華的宣告；你們必被趕逐，各自逃命，沒有人把四散奔逃的人聚集起來。

“耶和華這樣說：‘亞捫三番四次犯罪，我必不收回懲罰他的命令；因為他為了擴張疆界，甚至剖開基列孕婦的肚腹。在戰爭之日的吶喊中，在風雨天的暴風中；我必在拉巴的城牆放火，燒毀他的堡壘。他的君王必被擄走，君王和官員一同被擄。’這是耶和華說的。”

在曠野一切光禿的高岡上，行毀滅的已經來到了；因為耶和華的刀。從地這邊直到地那邊，要吞滅一切；人人都沒有平安。
