“ The days are coming”— this is the Lord’s declaration—“ when I will raise up a Righteous Branch of David. He will reign wisely as king and administer justice and righteousness in the land.In His days Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell securely. This is what He will be named: Yahweh Our Righteousness.

“ I have consecrated My King on Zion, My holy mountain.”

Afterward, the people of Israel will return and seek the Lord their God and David their king. They will come with awe to the Lord and to His goodness in the last days.

“ Speak to Zerubbabel, governor of Judah: I am going to shake the heavens and the earth.I will overturn royal thrones and destroy the power of the Gentile kingdoms. I will overturn chariots and their riders. Horses and their riders will fall, each by his brother’s sword.

He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High, and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David.

The scepter will not depart from Judah or the staff from between his feet until He whose right it is comes and the obedience of the peoples belongs to Him.

Bethlehem Ephrathah, you are small among the clans of Judah; One will come from you to be ruler over Israel for Me. His origin is from antiquity, from eternity.

Rejoice greatly, Daughter Zion! Shout in triumph, Daughter Jerusalem! Look, your King is coming to you; He is righteous and victorious, humble and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.

“ See, I am going to send My messenger, and he will clear the way before Me. Then the Lord you seek will suddenly come to His temple, the Messenger of the covenant you desire— see, He is coming,” says the Lord of Hosts.

Then Jesus came near and said to them,“ All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.

You are to tell him: This is what the Lord of Hosts says: Here is a man whose name is Branch; He will branch out from His place and build the Lord’s temple.Yes, He will build the Lord’s temple; He will be clothed in splendor and will sit on His throne and rule. There will also be a priest on His throne, and there will be peaceful counsel between the two of them.

Surely it will be a trial! And what if the sword despises even the scepter? The scepter will not continue. This is the declaration of the Lord God.

For a child will be born for us, a son will be given to us, and the government will be on His shoulders. He will be named Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.The dominion will be vast, and its prosperity will never end. He will reign on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish and sustain it with justice and righteousness from now on and forever. The zeal of the Lord of Hosts will accomplish this.

In that day I will restore the fallen booth of David: I will repair its gaps, restore its ruins, and rebuild it as in the days of old,so that they may possess the remnant of Edom and all the nations that are called by My name— this is the Lord’s declaration— He will do this.

Jacob’s leader will be one of them; his ruler will issue from him. I will invite him to Me, and he will approach Me, for who would otherwise risk his life to approach Me? This is the Lord’s declaration.

My servant David will be king over them, and there will be one shepherd for all of them. They will follow My ordinances, and keep My statutes and obey them.“ They will live in the land that I gave to My servant Jacob, where your fathers lived. They will live in it forever with their children and grandchildren, and My servant David will be their prince forever.

Today a Savior, who is Messiah the Lord, was born for you in the city of David.

One who comes from Jacob will rule; he will destroy the city’s survivors.

But for you who fear My name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings, and you will go out and playfully jump like calves from the stall.

then I might also reject the seed of Jacob and of My servant David— not taking from his descendants rulers over the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Instead, I will restore their fortunes and have compassion on them.”

Now that He has gone into heaven, He is at God’s right hand with angels, authorities, and powers subject to Him.

He demonstrated this power in the Messiah by raising Him from the dead and seating Him at His right hand in the heavens—far above every ruler and authority, power and dominion, and every title given, not only in this age but also in the one to come.And He put everything under His feet and appointed Him as head over everything for the church,

He has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of His servant David,

This is what the Lord God says: I will take a sprig from the lofty top of the cedar and plant it. I will pluck a tender sprig from its topmost shoots, and I will plant it on a high towering mountain.I will plant it on Israel’s high mountain so that it may bear branches, produce fruit, and become a majestic cedar. Birds of every kind will nest under it, taking shelter in the shade of its branches.

Then I saw heaven opened, and there was a white horse. Its rider is called Faithful and True, and He judges and makes war in righteousness.His eyes were like a fiery flame, and many crowns were on His head. He had a name written that no one knows except Himself.He wore a robe stained with blood, and His name is the Word of God.The armies that were in heaven followed Him on white horses, wearing pure white linen.A sharp sword came from His mouth, so that He might strike the nations with it. He will shepherd them with an iron scepter. He will also trample the winepress of the fierce anger of God, the Almighty.And He has a name written on His robe and on His thigh: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.

May the righteous flourish in his days and prosperity abound until the moon is no more.May he rule from sea to sea and from the Euphrates to the ends of the earth.May desert tribes kneel before him and his enemies lick the dust.May the kings of Tarshish and the coasts and islands bring tribute, the kings of Sheba and Seba offer gifts.

For this reason God highly exalted Him and gave Him the name that is above every name,so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow— of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth—

then also My covenant with My servant David may be broken so that he will not have a son reigning on his throne, and the Levitical priests will not be My ministers.

Life was in Him, and that life was the light of men.

His voice shook the earth at that time, but now He has promised, Yet once more I will shake not only the earth but also heaven.This expression,“ Yet once more,” indicates the removal of what can be shaken— that is, created things— so that what is not shaken might remain.

In those days and at that time I will cause a Righteous Branch to sprout up for David, and He will administer justice and righteousness in the land.In those days Judah will be saved, and Jerusalem will dwell securely, and this is what she will be named: Yahweh Our Righteousness.

I will appoint over them a single shepherd, My servant David, and he will shepherd them. He will tend them himself and will be their shepherd.

I will shake all the nations so that the treasures of all the nations will come, and I will fill this house with glory,” says the Lord of Hosts.
