“ Son of man, set your face toward Jerusalem, preach against the holy places, and prophesy against the land of Israel;

人子歟、爾其面耶路撒冷、向聖所發言、對以色列地而預言、

人子、爾當遙望耶路撒冷、指以色列地之聖所、而言未來事、

人子、爾當面向耶路撒冷、向諸聖所發言、對以色列地傳述預言、

“ Son of man, set your face against Jerusalem and preach against the sanctuary. Prophesy against the land of Israel

“ Son of man, turn your attention to Jerusalem. Preach against the temple. Prophesy against the land of Israel.

“ Son of man, set your face toward Jerusalem and preach against the sanctuaries. Prophesy against the land of Israel

“ Son of man, turn and face Jerusalem and prophesy against Israel and her sanctuaries.

“ Son of man, face Jerusalem and preach against the sanctuaries. Prophesy against the land of Israel,

“ Son of man, set your face against Jerusalem, and speak prophetically against the sanctuaries and prophesy against the land of Israel;

Son of man, set thy face toward Jerusalem, and drop thy word toward the sanctuaries, and prophesy against the land of Israel;

“ Therefore you shall set your face toward the siege of Jerusalem; your arm shall be uncovered, and you shall prophesy against it.

“ Son of man, set your face against the Ammonites, and prophesy against them.

Moreover take for yourself an iron plate, and set it as an iron wall between you and the city. Set your face against it, and it shall be besieged, and you shall lay siege against it. This will be a sign to the house of Israel.

and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel,

“ And you, son of man, prophesy to the mountains of Israel, and say,‘ O mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord!

Now therefore, hear the word of the Lord: You say,‘ Do not prophesy against Israel, And do not spout against the house of Isaac.’

And the priests and the prophets spoke to the princes and all the people, saying,“ This man deserves to die! For he has prophesied against this city, as you have heard with your ears.”Then Jeremiah spoke to all the princes and all the people, saying:“ The Lord sent me to prophesy against this house and against this city with all the words that you have heard.

They also set up false witnesses who said,“ This man does not cease to speak blasphemous words against this holy place and the law;for we have heard him say that this Jesus of Nazareth will destroy this place and change the customs which Moses delivered to us.”

“ Son of man, set your face against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and prophesy against him, and against all Egypt.

“ Do not prattle,” you say to those who prophesy. So they shall not prophesy to you; They shall not return insult for insult.

“ Son of man, set your face toward the mountains of Israel, and prophesy against them,

“ Son of man, set your face against Gog, of the land of Magog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal, and prophesy against him,

If a man should walk in a false spirit And speak a lie, saying,‘ I will prophesy to you of wine and drink,’ Even he would be the prattler of this people.

Let my teaching drop as the rain, My speech distill as the dew, As raindrops on the tender herb, And as showers on the grass.
