「人子啊，你要面向南方，說預言斥責南地的樹林。

你要面向被圍困的耶路撒冷，光著臂膀說預言斥責這城。

「人子啊，你要面向亞捫人，說預言斥責他們，

拿一個鐵盤當作鐵牆放在你和城中間。你要面向這城，圍困攻擊這城。這是給以色列人的一個徵兆。

也請你們為我禱告，求上帝賜我口才，讓我勇敢地把福音的奧祕講解明白。

「人子啊，你要向以色列的山嶺發預言說，『以色列的山嶺啊，你們要聽耶和華的話！

亞瑪謝啊，你說，『不要說攻擊以色列的預言，不要傳講攻擊以撒子孫的信息。』現在你要聽耶和華對你說的話。

祭司和先知對官員和民眾說：「這人該被處死！因為他預言這城要被毀，這是你們親耳聽到的。」耶利米對官員和民眾說：「你們剛才聽見的這些關於這殿和這城的預言都是耶和華差我說的。

他們還派人作偽證說：「司提凡常常講侮辱聖地和律法的話。我們聽見他說那個拿撒勒人耶穌要毀壞聖殿，還要摒棄摩西傳給我們的規矩。」

「人子啊，你要說預言斥責埃及王法老和埃及全國，

他們的先知說：「不要說預言了，不要預言這種事，我們不會蒙受羞辱。」

「人子啊，你要面向以色列的山嶺說預言，斥責它們，

「人子啊，你要面向瑪各地區的歌革，就是米設和土巴的首領，說預言斥責他，

倘若有騙子撒謊說，『我預言你們會有美酒佳釀。』他就會成為這個民族的先知。

願我的教導如雨降下，願我的話語如露滴落，像水滴滋潤嫩草，像甘霖澆灌草木。
