On that day I raised My hand in an oath to them, to bring them out of the land of Egypt into a land that I had searched out for them,‘ flowing with milk and honey,’ the glory of all lands.

當那日子我向他們舉手起誓要領他們出埃及地，到我為他們探覓的、那流奶與蜜之地，就是在列邦中最華美的。

當日我與之誓、必導之出埃及、入我所選流乳與蜜之地、即諸地之美者、

既立盟誓、導爾祖出埃及、至產乳與蜜之地、其地為列國所羨美、我素所選者、

當日我為之發誓、必導之出伊及地、至我為彼所選之地、即流乳與蜜之地、其地在列國中最佳美、

On that day I swore to them that I would bring them out of Egypt into a land I had searched out for them, a land flowing with milk and honey, the most beautiful of all lands.

On that day I promised I would bring them out of Egypt. I told them I would take them to a land I had found for them. It had plenty of milk and honey. It was the most beautiful land of all.

Beautiful in elevation, The joy of the whole earth, Is Mount Zion on the sides of the north, The city of the great King.

You have given them this land, of which You swore to their fathers to give them—“ a land flowing with milk and honey.”

Go up to a land flowing with milk and honey; for I will not go up in your midst, lest I consume you on the way, for you are a stiff-necked people.”

“ But I scattered them with a whirlwind among all the nations which they had not known. Thus the land became desolate after them, so that no one passed through or returned; for they made the pleasant land desolate.”

And out of one of them came a little horn which grew exceedingly great toward the south, toward the east, and toward the Glorious Land.

But he who comes against him shall do according to his own will, and no one shall stand against him. He shall stand in the Glorious Land with destruction in his power.

He shall also enter the Glorious Land, and many countries shall be overthrown; but these shall escape from his hand: Edom, Moab, and the prominent people of Ammon.

When I have brought them to the land flowing with milk and honey, of which I swore to their fathers, and they have eaten and filled themselves and grown fat, then they will turn to other gods and serve them; and they will provoke Me and break My covenant.

Now the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:“ Speak to the children of Israel, that they turn and camp before Pi Hahiroth, between Migdol and the sea, opposite Baal Zephon; you shall camp before it by the sea.For Pharaoh will say of the children of Israel,‘ They are bewildered by the land; the wilderness has closed them in.’Then I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, so that he will pursue them; and I will gain honor over Pharaoh and over all his army, that the Egyptians may know that I am the Lord.” And they did so.Now it was told the king of Egypt that the people had fled, and the heart of Pharaoh and his servants was turned against the people; and they said,“ Why have we done this, that we have let Israel go from serving us?”So he made ready his chariot and took his people with him.Also, he took six hundred choice chariots, and all the chariots of Egypt with captains over every one of them.And the Lord hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he pursued the children of Israel; and the children of Israel went out with boldness.So the Egyptians pursued them, all the horses and chariots of Pharaoh, his horsemen and his army, and overtook them camping by the sea beside Pi Hahiroth, before Baal Zephon.And when Pharaoh drew near, the children of Israel lifted their eyes, and behold, the Egyptians marched after them. So they were very afraid, and the children of Israel cried out to the Lord.Then they said to Moses,“ Because there were no graves in Egypt, have you taken us away to die in the wilderness? Why have you so dealt with us, to bring us up out of Egypt?Is this not the word that we told you in Egypt, saying,‘ Let us alone that we may serve the Egyptians’? For it would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than that we should die in the wilderness.”And Moses said to the people,“ Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever.The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.”And the Lord said to Moses,“ Why do you cry to Me? Tell the children of Israel to go forward.

but the land which you cross over to possess is a land of hills and valleys, which drinks water from the rain of heaven,a land for which the Lord your God cares; the eyes of the Lord your God are always on it, from the beginning of the year to the very end of the year.

Therefore hear, O Israel, and be careful to observe it, that it may be well with you, and that you may multiply greatly as the Lord God of your fathers has promised you—‘ a land flowing with milk and honey.’

He has brought us to this place and has given us this land,“ a land flowing with milk and honey”;

Then He said to Abram:“ Know certainly that your descendants will be strangers in a land that is not theirs, and will serve them, and they will afflict them four hundred years.And also the nation whom they serve I will judge; afterward they shall come out with great possessions.

“ He made him ride in the heights of the earth, That he might eat the produce of the fields; He made him draw honey from the rock, And oil from the flinty rock;Curds from the cattle, and milk of the flock, With fat of lambs; And rams of the breed of Bashan, and goats, With the choicest wheat; And you drank wine, the blood of the grapes.

and I have said I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt to the land of the Canaanites and the Hittites and the Amorites and the Perizzites and the Hivites and the Jebusites, to a land flowing with milk and honey.”’

For the Lord your God is bringing you into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and springs, that flow out of valleys and hills;a land of wheat and barley, of vines and fig trees and pomegranates, a land of olive oil and honey;a land in which you will eat bread without scarcity, in which you will lack nothing; a land whose stones are iron and out of whose hills you can dig copper.

And it shall be, when the Lord brings you into the land of the Canaanites and the Hittites and the Amorites and the Hivites and the Jebusites, which He swore to your fathers to give you, a land flowing with milk and honey, that you shall keep this service in this month.

“ Say to them,‘ Thus says the Lord God:“ On the day when I chose Israel and raised My hand in an oath to the descendants of the house of Jacob, and made Myself known to them in the land of Egypt, I raised My hand in an oath to them, saying,‘ I am the Lord your God.’

Then they told him, and said:“ We went to the land where you sent us. It truly flows with milk and honey, and this is its fruit.

If the Lord delights in us, then He will bring us into this land and give it to us,‘ a land which flows with milk and honey.’

Then you shall know that I am the Lord, when I bring you into the land of Israel, into the country for which I raised My hand in an oath to give to your fathers.

But I have said to you,“ You shall inherit their land, and I will give it to you to possess, a land flowing with milk and honey.” I am the Lord your God, who has separated you from the peoples.

Look down from Your holy habitation, from heaven, and bless Your people Israel and the land which You have given us, just as You swore to our fathers,“ a land flowing with milk and honey.”’

For the children of Israel walked forty years in the wilderness, till all the people who were men of war, who came out of Egypt, were consumed, because they did not obey the voice of the Lord— to whom the Lord swore that He would not show them the land which the Lord had sworn to their fathers that He would give us,“ a land flowing with milk and honey.”

Also I raised My hand in an oath to those in the wilderness, that I would scatter them among the Gentiles and disperse them throughout the countries,

You shall write on them all the words of this law, when you have crossed over, that you may enter the land which the Lord your God is giving you,‘ a land flowing with milk and honey,’ just as the Lord God of your fathers promised you.

When the Most High divided their inheritance to the nations, When He separated the sons of Adam, He set the boundaries of the peoples According to the number of the children of Israel.

that I may establish the oath which I have sworn to your fathers, to give them‘ a land flowing with milk and honey,’ as it is this day.”’” And I answered and said,“ So be it, Lord.”

and that you may prolong your days in the land which the Lord swore to give your fathers, to them and their descendants,‘ a land flowing with milk and honey.’
