I will purge the rebels from among you, and those who transgress against Me; I will bring them out of the country where they dwell, but they shall not enter the land of Israel. Then you will know that I am the Lord.

我必从你们中间除净叛逆和得罪我的人，将他们从所寄居的地方领出来，他们却不得入以色列地。你们就知道我是耶和华。

我必从你们中间除尽叛逆和得罪我的人；我将他们从所寄居的地方领出来，他们却不得进入以色列地，你们就知道我是耶和华。

凡違逆干罪於我者、必去之於爾中、導出所旅之邦、而不得歸以色列地、爾則知我乃耶和華、

凡違逆我者、必出乎爾中、去其所旅之邦、不得歸以色列地、使知我乃耶和華。

凡悖逆我、獲罪於我者、我必除於爾中、使出所旅之異邦、亦不得入以色列地、其時爾則知我乃主、

I will purge you of those who revolt and rebel against me. Although I will bring them out of the land where they are living, yet they will not enter the land of Israel. Then you will know that I am the Lord.

I will get rid of those among you who turn against me. They refuse to obey me. I will bring them out of the land where they are living. But they will not enter the land of Israel. Then you will know that I am the Lord.

“ My hand will be against the prophets who envision futility and who divine lies; they shall not be in the assembly of My people, nor be written in the record of the house of Israel, nor shall they enter into the land of Israel. Then you shall know that I am the Lord God.

He will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver; He will purify the sons of Levi, And purge them as gold and silver, That they may offer to the Lord An offering in righteousness.

And it shall come to pass in all the land,” Says the Lord,“ That two-thirds in it shall be cut off and die, But one-third shall be left in it:I will bring the one-third through the fire, Will refine them as silver is refined, And test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name, And I will answer them. I will say,‘ This is My people’; And each one will say,‘ The Lord is my God.’”

So I swore in My wrath,‘ They shall not enter My rest.’”

“ For surely I will command, And will sift the house of Israel among all nations, As grain is sifted in a sieve; Yet not the smallest grain shall fall to the ground.All the sinners of My people shall die by the sword, Who say,‘ The calamity shall not overtake nor confront us.’

“ For behold, the day is coming, Burning like an oven, And all the proud, yes, all who do wickedly will be stubble. And the day which is coming shall burn them up,” Says the Lord of hosts,“ That will leave them neither root nor branch.But to you who fear My name The Sun of Righteousness shall arise With healing in His wings; And you shall go out And grow fat like stall-fed calves.You shall trample the wicked, For they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet On the day that I do this,” Says the Lord of hosts.

All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats.And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left.

so that none of the remnant of Judah who have gone into the land of Egypt to dwell there shall escape or survive, lest they return to the land of Judah, to which they desire to return and dwell. For none shall return except those who escape.’”

The slain shall fall in your midst, and you shall know that I am the Lord.

‘ And as for you, O My flock, thus says the Lord GOD:“ Behold, I shall judge between sheep and sheep, between rams and goats.Is it too little for you to have eaten up the good pasture, that you must tread down with your feet the residue of your pasture— and to have drunk of the clear waters, that you must foul the residue with your feet?And as for My flock, they eat what you have trampled with your feet, and they drink what you have fouled with your feet.”‘ Therefore thus says the Lord GOD to them:“ Behold, I Myself will judge between the fat and the lean sheep.Because you have pushed with side and shoulder, butted all the weak ones with your horns, and scattered them abroad,therefore I will save My flock, and they shall no longer be a prey; and I will judge between sheep and sheep.

and I will set My face against them. They will go out from one fire, but another fire shall devour them. Then you shall know that I am the Lord, when I set My face against them.

But I want to remind you, though you once knew this, that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe.

and do not think to say to yourselves,‘ We have Abraham as our father.’ For I say to you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones.And even now the ax is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore every tree which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.

His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather His wheat into the barn; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.”

Isaiah also cries out concerning Israel:“ Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, The remnant will be saved.For He will finish the work and cut it short in righteousness, Because the Lord will make a short work upon the earth.”And as Isaiah said before:“ Unless the Lord of Sabaoth had left us a seed, We would have become like Sodom, And we would have been made like Gomorrah.”

But with most of them God was not well pleased, for their bodies were scattered in the wilderness.

They shall repay you for your lewdness, and you shall pay for your idolatrous sins. Then you shall know that I am the Lord God.’”

Say to them,‘ As I live,’ says the Lord,‘ just as you have spoken in My hearing, so I will do to you:The carcasses of you who have complained against Me shall fall in this wilderness, all of you who were numbered, according to your entire number, from twenty years old and above.Except for Caleb the son of Jephunneh and Joshua the son of Nun, you shall by no means enter the land which I swore I would make you dwell in.

Since therefore it remains that some must enter it, and those to whom it was first preached did not enter because of disobedience,

But as for those whose hearts follow the desire for their detestable things and their abominations, I will recompense their deeds on their own heads,” says the Lord GOD.

The Lord is known by the judgment He executes; The wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Meditation. Selah

For we who have believed do enter that rest, as He has said:“ So I swore in My wrath,‘ They shall not enter My rest,’” although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
