“主耶和华说，‘我凭我的永恒起誓，我要发烈怒，伸出大能的臂膀治理你们。

As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign Lord, I will reign over you with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm and with outpoured wrath.

我要在烈怒中伸出大能的臂膀下手击打你们，

祂抬起右手张弓搭箭，宛若仇敌，杀戮一切悦人眼目的人，将祂的怒火撒向锡安城的帐篷。

以色列人都违背你的律法，偏离正道，不听从你的话。你仆人摩西的律法书上所记载的咒诅和审判都落在了我们身上，因为我们得罪了你。你把大灾难降在我们身上，应验了你警告我们和我们官长的话。耶路撒冷遭遇的灾祸普天之下从未有过。

因此，我必愤怒地对待他们，我必不顾惜他们，也不怜悯他们，即使他们大声向我呼求，我也不听。”
