以色列族乎、爾獻子女、焚之以火、崇事偶像、自沾污衊、今日乃來問我、我耶和華、指己而誓、不許爾與我言。

When you offer your gifts— the sacrifice of your children in the fire— you continue to defile yourselves with all your idols to this day. Am I to let you inquire of me, you Israelites? As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign Lord, I will not let you inquire of me.

You make yourselves‘ unclean’ by offering sacrifices to other gods. You even sacrifice your children in the fire. You continue to do these things to this day. People of Israel, should I let you ask me for advice? I will not let you do that,” announces the Lord and King.“ And that is just as sure as I am alive.

When you present your gifts and offer up your children in fire, you defile yourselves with all your idols to this day. And shall I be inquired of by you, O house of Israel? As I live, declares the Lord God, I will not be inquired of by you.

For when you offer gifts to them and give your little children to be burned as sacrifices, you continue to pollute yourselves with idols to this day. Should I allow you to ask for a message from me, O people of Israel? As surely as I live, says the Sovereign Lord, I will tell you nothing.

When you offer your gifts, sacrificing your children in the fire, you still continue to defile yourselves with all your idols today. So should I let you inquire of me, house of Israel? As I live— this is the declaration of the Lord GOD— I will not let you inquire of me!

他們使所有頭生的經火，我就任憑他們在這供物上玷污自己；我令他們驚恐，他們就知道我是耶和華。

他們在欣嫩子谷建造陀斐特的丘壇，要在火中焚燒自己的兒女。這並不是我所吩咐的，我心裏也從來沒有想過。

他們把自己的兒女祭祀鬼魔，流無辜人的血，就是自己兒女的血，用他們祭祀迦南的偶像，那地就被血玷污了。這樣，他們被自己所做的玷污了，在行為上犯了淫亂。

轉耳不聽教誨的，他的祈禱也可憎。

「人子啊，你要告訴以色列的長老，對他們說，主耶和華如此說：你們來是為求問我嗎？主耶和華說：我指着我的永生起誓，我必不讓你們求問。

他們建造巴力的丘壇，要在火中焚燒自己的兒女，作為燔祭獻給巴力。這不是我命令的，不是我吩咐的，我心裏也從來沒有想過。

萬軍之耶和華說：我曾呼喚他們，他們不聽；將來他們呼求我，我也不聽！

他們禁食的時候，我不聽他們的呼求；他們獻燔祭和素祭，我也不悅納。我卻要用刀劍、饑荒、瘟疫滅絕他們。」

「人子啊，這些人在心中設立偶像，把陷自己於罪的絆腳石放在面前，我真的能讓他們求問嗎？所以你要告訴他們，對他們說：『主耶和華如此說：以色列家的人，凡在心中設立偶像，把陷自己於罪的絆腳石放在面前，卻來到先知那裏的，我－耶和華在他所求的事上，必因他拜許多偶像向他施行報應，

不敬虔的人有甚麼指望呢？神要剪除他，取他的性命。

其餘的童女隨後也來了，說：『主啊，主啊，給我們開門！』他卻回答：『我實在告訴你們，我不認識你們。』

你們中間的衝突是哪裏來的？爭執是哪裏來的？不是從你們肢體中交戰着的私慾來的嗎？你們貪戀，得不着就殺人；你們嫉妒，不能得手就起爭執和衝突；你們得不着，是因為你們不求。你們求也得不着，是因為你們妄求，為了要浪費在你們的宴樂中。

你拿你為我所生的兒女獻給它們吞噬。你的淫亂豈是小事？

以利沙對以色列王說：「我跟你有甚麼關係呢？去問你父親的先知和你母親的先知吧！」以色列王對他說：「不，因為耶和華召集我們這三王，是要交在摩押人的手裏。」以利沙說：「我指着所事奉永生的萬軍之耶和華起誓，我若不看猶大王約沙法的情面，必不理你，不睬你。

我若心裏注重罪孽，主必不聽。

他豈以全能者為樂，隨時求告神呢？

你中間不可有人使兒女經火，也不可有占卜的、觀星象的、行法術的、行邪術的、施符咒的、招魂的、行巫術的和求問死人的。凡做這些事的都是耶和華所憎惡的；因這可憎惡的事，耶和華－你的神把他們從你面前趕出去。

掃羅看見非利士的軍隊，就懼怕，心中大大戰兢。掃羅求問耶和華，耶和華卻不藉夢，或烏陵，或先知回答他。

你們舉手禱告，我必遮眼不看，就算你們多多祈禱，我也不聽；你們的手沾滿了血。
