爾奉禮物、使子經火、崇拜偶像、自染污衊、迄於今日乎、以色列家歟、我豈聽爾之諮諏乎、主耶和華曰、我指己生而誓、不聽爾之諮諏、

以色列族乎、爾獻子女、焚之以火、崇事偶像、自沾污衊、今日乃來問我、我耶和華、指己而誓、不許爾與我言。

When you offer your gifts— the sacrifice of your children in the fire— you continue to defile yourselves with all your idols to this day. Am I to let you inquire of me, you Israelites? As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign Lord, I will not let you inquire of me.

You make yourselves‘ unclean’ by offering sacrifices to other gods. You even sacrifice your children in the fire. You continue to do these things to this day. People of Israel, should I let you ask me for advice? I will not let you do that,” announces the Lord and King.“ And that is just as sure as I am alive.

When you present your gifts and offer up your children in fire, you defile yourselves with all your idols to this day. And shall I be inquired of by you, O house of Israel? As I live, declares the Lord God, I will not be inquired of by you.

For when you offer gifts to them and give your little children to be burned as sacrifices, you continue to pollute yourselves with idols to this day. Should I allow you to ask for a message from me, O people of Israel? As surely as I live, says the Sovereign Lord, I will tell you nothing.

When you offer your gifts, sacrificing your children in the fire, you still continue to defile yourselves with all your idols today. So should I let you inquire of me, house of Israel? As I live— this is the declaration of the Lord GOD— I will not let you inquire of me!

他們使所有頭生的都經火作供物，所以我讓他們玷污自己，好叫他們驚惶，知道我是耶和華。’

“他們在欣嫩子谷中，建造了陀斐特的邱壇，用火焚燒自己的兒女；這不是我吩咐的，我也沒有在心裡想過。

他們把自己的兒女祭祀鬼魔。他們流了無辜人的血，就是他們自己兒女的血，把他們祭祀迦南的偶像；那地就被血污穢了。這樣，他們因自己所作的成了不潔，他們的行為使他們犯了邪淫。

轉身不聽訓誨的，他的禱告也是可厭惡的。

“人子啊！你要告訴以色列的長老，對他們說：‘主耶和華這樣說：你們來求問我嗎？我指著我的永生起誓，我必不讓你們求問我。這是主耶和華的宣告。’

他們築了巴力的邱壇，好用火焚燒自己的兒女，作燔祭獻給巴力。這不是我吩咐的，我沒有提說過，也沒有在我心裡想過。

我曾呼喚他們，他們不聽；照樣，將來他們呼求我，我也不聽。這是萬軍之耶和華說的。

即使他們禁食，我也不會聽他們的呼求；即使他們獻上燔祭和素祭，我也不會悅納；我卻要用刀劍、饑荒和瘟疫去滅盡他們。”

“人子啊！這些人已經把他們的偶像接到心裡去，把那陷他們在罪孽中的絆腳石放在自己面前，我怎能讓他們向我求問呢？因此，你要告訴他們，對他們說：‘主耶和華這樣說：以色列家的人中，凡把他的偶像接到心裡去，把那陷自己在罪孽中的絆腳石放在自己面前，卻又來見先知的，我耶和華必按他拜眾多偶像的罪報應他，

不敬虔的人被剪除，神奪去他性命的時候還有甚麼指望呢？

後來，其餘的童女也來到，說：‘主啊，主啊，給我們開門吧！’新郎卻回答：‘我實在告訴你們，我不認識你們。’

你們中間的爭執和打鬥是從哪裡來的呢？不是從你們肢體中好鬥的私慾來的嗎？你們放縱貪慾，如果得不到，就殺人；你們嫉妒，如果一無所得，就打鬥爭執。你們得不到，因為你們不求；你們求也得不到，因為你們的動機不良，要把所得的耗費在你們的私慾上。

你更把你的兒女，就是你給我所生的兒女，獻給它們作食物；你所行的淫亂還算是小事嗎？

以利沙對以色列王說：“我和你有甚麼關係呢？去問你父親和你母親的先知吧！”以色列王對他說：“不要這樣說，耶和華招聚這三位君王，是要把他們交在摩押人手中。”以利沙說：“我指著我所事奉永活的萬軍耶和華起誓，若不是看猶大王約沙法的情面，我根本不會理你，看也不看你。

如果我心裡偏向罪孽，主必不聽；

驚恐臨到你們好像風暴，災難如同颶風來臨，患難困苦臨到你們身上。那時，他們必呼求我，我卻不回答；他們切切尋找我，卻尋不見；

他以全能者為樂，時時求告神嗎？

在你中間不可有人把自己的兒女獻作火祭（“把自己的兒女獻作火祭”直譯是“使自己的兒女經過進入火中”），也不可有占卜的、算命的、用法術的、行邪術的、念咒的、問鬼的、行巫術的、過陰的。因為行這些事的，都是耶和華厭惡的；就是因為這些可厭可惡的事的緣故，耶和華你的神才把他們從你的面前趕走。

掃羅看見了非利士人的軍隊，就懼怕，他的心大大發抖。掃羅求問耶和華，耶和華卻沒有藉著夢，或烏陵，或先知回答他。

所以你們張開雙手的時候，我必掩眼不看你們；即使你們多多禱告，我也不聽；你們的手都沾滿血腥。
