以色列族乎、爾獻子女、焚之以火、崇事偶像、自沾污衊、今日乃來問我、我耶和華、指己而誓、不許爾與我言。

When you offer your gifts— the sacrifice of your children in the fire— you continue to defile yourselves with all your idols to this day. Am I to let you inquire of me, you Israelites? As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign Lord, I will not let you inquire of me.

You make yourselves‘ unclean’ by offering sacrifices to other gods. You even sacrifice your children in the fire. You continue to do these things to this day. People of Israel, should I let you ask me for advice? I will not let you do that,” announces the Lord and King.“ And that is just as sure as I am alive.

When you present your gifts and offer up your children in fire, you defile yourselves with all your idols to this day. And shall I be inquired of by you, O house of Israel? As I live, declares the Lord God, I will not be inquired of by you.

For when you offer gifts to them and give your little children to be burned as sacrifices, you continue to pollute yourselves with idols to this day. Should I allow you to ask for a message from me, O people of Israel? As surely as I live, says the Sovereign Lord, I will tell you nothing.

他们在欣嫩子谷的陀斐特建造丘坛，焚烧自己的儿女。我从未吩咐他们这样做，连想都没想过。这不是我的吩咐，我也从未这样想过。

他们把自己的儿女当祭物献给鬼魔，他们把自己的儿女献给迦南的神像作祭物，流他们儿女无辜的血，玷污了那地方。他们的行为玷污了自己，使自己沦为淫妇。

人若不听从律法，他的祷告也可憎。

“人子啊，你要告诉他们，主耶和华这样说，‘你们是来求问我吗？我凭我的永恒起誓，我决不让你们求问。’

他们为巴力建丘坛，烧死自己的儿子作燔祭献给巴力。我从未吩咐他们这样做，连提都没提过，连想都没想过。

祂说，‘我曾呼唤他们，他们不听；将来他们呼求我，我也不听。

他们禁食，我也不会听他们的呼求；他们献上燔祭和素祭，我也不会悦纳。我要用战争、饥荒和瘟疫灭绝他们。”

“人子啊，这些人在心里立起偶像，把导致犯罪的绊脚石放在自己面前，我岂能让他们来求问？你告诉他们，主耶和华这样说，‘任何以色列人若在心里立起偶像，把导致犯罪的绊脚石放在自己面前，又来求问先知，我耶和华必按他心中假神的数目亲自用惩罚回答他，

因为不敬虔的人将被铲除，上帝将夺去他的性命。那时，他还有何指望？

后来，其他伴娘回来了，喊道，‘主啊！主啊！请给我们开门吧！’“新郎却说，‘我实在告诉你们，我不认识你们。’

你们彼此冲突、互相斗殴的起因是什么呢？不就是你们身体中不断交战的欲望吗？你们贪心，得不到就去杀人。你们嫉妒，得不到就争吵、打斗。你们得不到是因为你们不向上帝祈求。你们求也得不到是因为你们动机不纯，只求享乐和满足自己的欲望。

你还把你给我生的儿女烧作燔祭献给偶像。难道你淫乱还不够吗？

以利沙对以色列王说：“我与你有什么关系？你去问你父母的先知吧！”以色列王说：“不要这样说，耶和华招聚我们三王，是要把我们交给摩押王！”以利沙说：“我事奉的是永活的万军之耶和华，我凭祂起誓，若不是看犹大王约沙法的情面，我决不理你，也不会见你。

倘若我心中藏匿罪恶，主必不垂听我的呼求。

那时，恐惧如风暴袭击你们，灾难如旋风临到你们，忧愁和苦难吞没你们。你们呼求我，我也不回答；你们恳切地寻找我，却找不到。

他岂会以全能者为乐，时时求告上帝？

你们当中不可有人焚烧自己的子女作祭物，不可有人占卜、算命、作法、行邪术、念咒、做灵媒、行巫术或求问亡灵。凡做这些事的人都是耶和华所憎恶的。正是因为当地的民族做这些可憎之事，你们的上帝耶和华才要当着你们的面把他们赶走。

扫罗看见非利士军队声势浩大，感到胆战心惊，就求问耶和华，但耶和华没有借着梦、乌陵或先知回答他。

你们举手祷告，我必掩面不理。即使你们祷告再多，我也不会听，因为你们双手沾满鲜血。
