“‘ But the children rebelled against me, did not follow my statutes, did not observe my regulations by carrying them out( the one who obeys them will live by them), and desecrated my Sabbaths. I decided to pour out my rage on them and fully vent my anger against them in the wilderness.

可是他们的儿女背叛了我，没有遵行我的律例，也没有谨守实行我的典章（人如果遵行这些律例典章，就必因此活着），亵渎了我的安息日；那时我说我要把我的烈怒倒在他们身上，在旷野向他们发尽我的怒气。

可是他們的兒女背叛了我，沒有遵行我的律例，也沒有謹守實行我的典章（人如果遵行這些律例典章，就必因此活著），褻瀆了我的安息日；那時我說我要把我的烈怒倒在他們身上，在曠野向他們發盡我的怒氣。

但他們的兒女卻叛逆了我，不遵行我的律例，不謹守實行我的典章（就是人若實行，必因此而活着的），反而瀆犯了我的安息日。『我就心裏說我要將我的烈怒傾倒在他們身上，我要在曠野向他們發盡我的忿怒。

惟其子女背我、不循我典章、不從我律例、人若遵行、則緣之得生、且犯我安息日、我則曰、必在曠野傾我怒、盡洩我忿於其身、

子孫背我、不遵我禮儀、犯我安息日、如有人守我法度、則可保生、惟彼不守、故我自謂、必在曠野、震怒斯眾、滅之務盡。

乃子孫悖逆我、不遵我之律例、不守我之法度以行之、人若遵行、必由此得生、彼亦犯我之安息日、我言將震怒斯民、發我盛忿、滅之於曠野、我言將震怒斯民發我盛忿滅之於曠野或作我言將在曠野向彼大震我怒傾洩我之盛忿於彼

“‘ But the children rebelled against me: They did not follow my decrees, they were not careful to keep my laws, of which I said,“ The person who obeys them will live by them,” and they desecrated my Sabbaths. So I said I would pour out my wrath on them and spend my anger against them in the wilderness.

“‘ “But their children refused to obey me. They did not follow my rules. They were not careful to keep my laws. The person who obeys them will live by them. They misused my Sabbath days. So I said I would pour out all my great anger on them in the desert.

But the children rebelled against me. They did not walk in my statutes and were not careful to obey my rules, by which, if a person does them, he shall live; they profaned my Sabbaths.“ Then I said I would pour out my wrath upon them and spend my anger against them in the wilderness.

“ But their children, too, rebelled against me. They refused to keep my decrees and follow my regulations, even though obedience would have given them life. And they also violated my Sabbath days. So again I threatened to pour out my fury on them in the wilderness.

“‘ But the children rebelled against me. They did not follow my statutes or carefully keep my ordinances— the person who does them will live by them. They also profaned my Sabbaths. So I considered pouring out my wrath on them and exhausting my anger against them in the wilderness.

But the children rebelled against Me; they did not walk in My statutes, nor were they careful to follow My ordinances which, if a person follows them, then he will live by them; they profaned My Sabbaths. So I resolved to pour out My wrath on them, to use up My anger against them in the wilderness.

“ Notwithstanding, the children rebelled against Me; they did not walk in My statutes, and were not careful to observe My judgments,‘ which, if a man does, he shall live by them’; but they profaned My Sabbaths. Then I said I would pour out My fury on them and fulfill My anger against them in the wilderness.

Notwithstanding the children rebelled against me: they walked not in my statutes, neither kept my judgments to do them, which[ if] a man do, he shall even live in them; they polluted my sabbaths: then I said, I would pour out my fury upon them, to accomplish my anger against them in the wilderness.

“‘“ But the children rebelled against me. They didn’t walk in my statutes, and didn’t keep my ordinances to do them, which if a man does, he shall live in them. They profaned my Sabbaths. Then I said I would pour out my wrath on them, to accomplish my anger against them in the wilderness.

But the house of Israel rebelled against me in the wilderness; they did not follow my statutes and they rejected my regulations( the one who obeys them will live by them), and they utterly desecrated my Sabbaths. So I decided to pour out my rage on them in the wilderness and destroy them.

But they rebelled against me, and refused to listen to me; no one got rid of their detestable idols, nor did they abandon the idols of Egypt. Then I decided to pour out my rage on them and fully vent my anger against them in the midst of the land of Egypt.

for I know about your rebellion and stubbornness. Indeed, even while I have been living among you to this very day, you have rebelled against the LORD; you will be even more rebellious after my death!

And the people spoke against God and against Moses,“ Why have you brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness, for there is no bread or water, and we detest this worthless food.”

Soon now I will pour out my rage on you; I will fully vent my anger against you. I will judge you according to your behavior. I will hold you accountable for all your abominable practices.

I will vent my rage against the wall, and against those who coated it with whitewash. Then I will say to you,“ The wall is no more and those who whitewashed it are no more–

They made the LORD angry by their actions, and a plague broke out among them.Phinehas took a stand and intervened, and the plague subsided.This brought him a reward, an eternal gift.They made him angry by the waters of Meribah, and Moses suffered because of them,for they aroused his temper, and he spoke rashly.

And when he sent you from Kadesh-Barnea and told you,“ Go up and possess the land I have given you,” you rebelled against the LORD your God and would neither believe nor obey him.You have been rebelling against him from the very first day I knew you!

When Israel lived in Shittim, the people began to commit sexual immorality with the daughters of Moab.These women invited the people to the sacrifices of their gods; then the people ate and bowed down to their gods.When Israel joined themselves to Baal-peor, the anger of the LORD flared up against Israel.The LORD said to Moses,“ Arrest all the leaders of the people, and hang them up before the LORD in broad daylight, so that the fierce anger of the LORD may be turned away from Israel.”So Moses said to the judges of Israel,“ Each of you must execute those of his men who were joined to Baal-peor.”Just then one of the Israelites came and brought to his brothers a Midianite woman in the plain view of Moses and of the whole community of the Israelites, while they were weeping at the entrance of the tent of meeting.When Phinehas son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, saw it, he got up from among the assembly, took a javelin in his hand,and went after the Israelite man into the tent and thrust through the Israelite man and into the woman’s abdomen. So the plague was stopped from the Israelites.

I will pour out my anger on you; the fire of my fury I will blow on you. I will hand you over to brutal men, who are skilled in destruction.

Then I heard a loud voice from the temple declaring to the seven angels:“ Go and pour out on the earth the seven bowls containing God’s wrath.”

For a period of about forty years he put up with them in the wilderness.

This will happen because they have abandoned me and offered sacrifices to other gods, angering me with all the idols they have made. My anger will ignite against this place and will not be extinguished!’”

I gave them my statutes and revealed my regulations to them. The one who carries them out will live by them!

“ Go, seek an oracle from the LORD for me and those who remain in Israel and Judah. Find out about the words of this scroll that has been discovered. For the LORD’s fury has been ignited against us, because our ancestors have not obeyed the word of the LORD by doing all that this scroll instructs!”

“ Then the king will do as he pleases. He will exalt and magnify himself above every deity and he will utter presumptuous things against the God of gods. He will succeed until the time of wrath is completed, for what has been decreed must occur.

The Lord fully vented his wrath; he poured out his fierce anger. He started a fire in Zion; it consumed her foundations.ל( Lamed)
