惟其子女背我、不循我典章、不從我律例、人若遵行、則緣之得生、且犯我安息日、我則曰、必在曠野傾我怒、盡洩我忿於其身、

子孫背我、不遵我禮儀、犯我安息日、如有人守我法度、則可保生、惟彼不守、故我自謂、必在曠野、震怒斯眾、滅之務盡。

乃子孫悖逆我、不遵我之律例、不守我之法度以行之、人若遵行、必由此得生、彼亦犯我之安息日、我言將震怒斯民、發我盛忿、滅之於曠野、我言將震怒斯民發我盛忿滅之於曠野或作我言將在曠野向彼大震我怒傾洩我之盛忿於彼

“‘ But the children rebelled against me: They did not follow my decrees, they were not careful to keep my laws, of which I said,“ The person who obeys them will live by them,” and they desecrated my Sabbaths. So I said I would pour out my wrath on them and spend my anger against them in the wilderness.

“‘ “But their children refused to obey me. They did not follow my rules. They were not careful to keep my laws. The person who obeys them will live by them. They misused my Sabbath days. So I said I would pour out all my great anger on them in the desert.

But the children rebelled against me. They did not walk in my statutes and were not careful to obey my rules, by which, if a person does them, he shall live; they profaned my Sabbaths.“ Then I said I would pour out my wrath upon them and spend my anger against them in the wilderness.

“ But their children, too, rebelled against me. They refused to keep my decrees and follow my regulations, even though obedience would have given them life. And they also violated my Sabbath days. So again I threatened to pour out my fury on them in the wilderness.

“‘ But the children rebelled against me. They did not follow my statutes or carefully keep my ordinances— the person who does them will live by them. They also profaned my Sabbaths. So I considered pouring out my wrath on them and exhausting my anger against them in the wilderness.

But the children rebelled against Me; they did not walk in My statutes, nor were they careful to follow My ordinances which, if a person follows them, then he will live by them; they profaned My Sabbaths. So I resolved to pour out My wrath on them, to use up My anger against them in the wilderness.

“ Notwithstanding, the children rebelled against Me; they did not walk in My statutes, and were not careful to observe My judgments,‘ which, if a man does, he shall live by them’; but they profaned My Sabbaths. Then I said I would pour out My fury on them and fulfill My anger against them in the wilderness.

But the children rebelled against me; they walked not in my statutes, neither kept mine ordinances to do them, which if a man do, he shall live in them; they profaned my sabbaths. Then I said I would pour out my wrath upon them, to accomplish my anger against them in the wilderness.

Notwithstanding the children rebelled against me: they walked not in my statutes, neither kept my judgments to do them, which[ if] a man do, he shall even live in them; they polluted my sabbaths: then I said, I would pour out my fury upon them, to accomplish my anger against them in the wilderness.

“‘ But the children rebelled against me, did not follow my statutes, did not observe my regulations by carrying them out( the one who obeys them will live by them), and desecrated my Sabbaths. I decided to pour out my rage on them and fully vent my anger against them in the wilderness.

“‘“ But the children rebelled against me. They didn’t walk in my statutes, and didn’t keep my ordinances to do them, which if a man does, he shall live in them. They profaned my Sabbaths. Then I said I would pour out my wrath on them, to accomplish my anger against them in the wilderness.

可是以色列家在旷野背叛了我，没有遵行我的律例，弃绝了我的典章（人如果遵行这些，就必因此活着），大大亵渎了我的安息日，那时我说我要把我的烈怒倒在他们身上，在旷野把他们灭绝。

但是他们背叛了我，不肯听从我；他们各人没有抛弃他们眼中那些可憎的像，没有离弃埃及的偶像。“‘那时我说，我要把我的烈怒倾倒在他们身上，在埃及地向他们完全发尽我的怒气。

因为我知道你们的悖逆和顽固。看哪，我今日还活着与你们同在的时候，你们尚且悖逆耶和华，何况我死了以后呢？

就反抗神和摩西，说：“你们为什么把我们从埃及领上来，使我们死在旷野呢？这里没有粮食，又没有水，我们的心厌恶这淡薄的食物。”

现在我快要把我的烈怒倒在你身上，向你完全发尽我的怒气。我要按着你的行为审判你，照着你一切可憎的事报应你。

我必这样向墙，和向那些用灰泥粉刷这墙的人发尽我的烈怒。我要对他们说：‘墙没有了！粉刷那墙的人也没有了！’

他们的行为触怒了耶和华，于是有瘟疫在他们中间发生。那时非尼哈站起来，执行刑罚，瘟疫才止息。这就算为他的义，世世代代直到永远。他们在米利巴水边惹耶和华发怒，以致摩西因他们的缘故也受了惩罚。因为他们抗拒神的灵（“他们抗拒神的灵”或译：“他们激动摩西的心”），摩西用嘴说出冒失的话。

耶和华打发你们离开加低斯．巴尼亚，说：‘你们上去得我赐给你们作产业的地。’那时你们竟违背耶和华你们的神的命令，不相信他，不听从他的话。自从我认识了你们那一天起，你们就常常悖逆耶和华。

以色列人住在什亭，人民与摩押的女子行起淫乱来。那些女子叫以色列人来，一同给她们的神献祭，以色列人也吃了她们的祭物，跪拜她们的神。以色列人与巴力．毗珥连合，耶和华就向以色列人发怒。耶和华对摩西说：“把人民的首领都捉来，在我耶和华面前对着太阳把他们悬挂起来，好使耶和华的烈怒可以转消，不向以色列人发作。”于是摩西对以色列的审判官说：“你们各人要把与巴力．毗珥连合的人都杀了。”摩西和以色列全体会众在会幕门口哭泣的时候，以色列人中有一个人来，当着他们的面带了一个米甸女子到自己的兄弟那里去。亚伦祭司的孙子、以利亚撒的儿子非尼哈看见了，就从会众中起来，手里拿着枪，跟着那以色列人，进入卧室，把他们两人刺透，就是刺透那以色列人和那女子。枪刺进了那女子的肚腹。这样，在以色列人中的瘟疫才止住。

我必把我的忿怒倒在你身上，把我的怒火喷在你身上，又把你交在那些惯于毁灭的野蛮人手中。

我听见有大声音从圣所里发出来，向那七位天使说：“你们去，把神烈怒的七碗倒在地上！”

又在旷野容忍（“容忍”有些抄本作“养育”）他们，约有四十年之久；

因为他们离弃了我，向别的神烧香，用他们手所做的惹我发怒，所以我的忿怒必倾倒在这地上，总不熄灭。

我把我的律例赐给他们，把我的典章指示他们；人如果遵行，就必因此活着。

“你们去，为我、也为以色列和犹大的余民，求问耶和华关于我们发现的这书上的话；因为我们的列祖没有谨守耶和华的话，也没有照着这书上所记的一切去行，所以耶和华才向我们大发烈怒。”

“那王必任意而行，自高自大，超过所有的神，又说一些怪诞的话攻击万神之神。他必行事顺利，直到神的忿怒完毕；因为所定的事必会实现。

耶和华大发震怒，倾倒他的烈怒；他在锡安放火，吞灭了锡安的根基。
