I said to their children in the wilderness,“ Do not follow the statutes of your parents or keep their laws or defile yourselves with their idols.

I spoke to their children there. I said,‘ Do not follow the rules your parents gave you. Do not obey their laws. Do not make yourselves“ unclean” by worshiping their gods.

“ And I said to their children in the wilderness,‘ Do not walk in the statutes of your fathers, nor keep their rules, nor defile yourselves with their idols.

“ Then I warned their children not to follow in their parents’ footsteps, defiling themselves with their idols.

“‘ Then I said to their children in the wilderness,“ Don’t follow the statutes of your fathers, defile yourselves with their idols, or keep their ordinances.

“ Instead, I said to their children in the wilderness,‘ Do not walk in the statutes of your fathers or keep their ordinances or defile yourselves with their idols.

“ But I said to their children in the wilderness,‘ Do not walk in the statutes of your fathers, nor observe their judgments, nor defile yourselves with their idols.

And I said unto their children in the wilderness, Walk ye not in the statutes of your fathers, neither observe their ordinances, nor defile yourselves with their idols.

“ Then I said to their children in the wilderness: Don’t follow the statutes of your fathers, defile yourselves with their idols, or keep their ordinances.

But I said unto their children in the wilderness, Walk ye not in the statutes of your fathers, neither observe their judgments, nor defile yourselves with their idols:

“‘ But I said to their children in the wilderness,“ Do not follow the practices of your fathers; do not observe their regulations, nor defile yourselves with their idols.

I said to their children in the wilderness,‘ Don’t walk in the statutes of your fathers. Don’t observe their ordinances or defile yourselves with their idols.

我对他们说，你们各人要抛弃眼中所喜爱的可憎之物，不可用埃及的偶像玷污自己。我是耶和华—你们的神。

你们已亲眼看见耶和华因巴力‧毗珥所做的。凡随从巴力‧毗珥的人，耶和华—你的神都从你中间除灭了。只有你们这紧紧跟随耶和华—你们神的人，今日全都存活。看，我照着耶和华—我的神所吩咐我的，将律例和典章教导你们，使你们在所要进去得为业的地上遵行。你们要谨守遵行；这就是你们在万民眼前的智慧和聪明。他们听见这一切律例，必说：‘这大国的人真是有智慧，有聪明！’

你们知道，你们得以从你们祖先传下来虚妄的行为中救赎出来，不是靠着会朽坏的金银等物，

“耶和华曾向你们祖先大发烈怒。你要对以色列人说，万军之耶和华如此说：你们要转向我，这是万军之耶和华说的，我就转向你们，这是万军之耶和华说的。不要效法你们的祖先。从前的先知呼叫他们说：‘万军之耶和华如此说，当回转离开你们的恶道恶行。’他们却不听，也不顺从我。这是耶和华说的。

我领你们进入肥沃之地，使你们得吃其中的果子和美物；你们进入时，却使我的地玷污，使我的产业成为可憎的。

使将要生的后代子孙可以晓得。他们也要起来告诉他们的子孙，好让他们仰望神，不忘记神的作为，惟遵守他的命令；不要像他们的祖宗，是顽梗悖逆、心不坚定，向神心不忠实之辈。

至于你们，你们的尸体必倒在这旷野中；你们的儿女必在旷野游牧四十年，担当你们不信的罪，直到你们的尸体在旷野消灭为止。

“你们这硬着颈项，心与耳未受割礼的人哪，时常抗拒圣灵！你们的祖宗怎样，你们也怎样。

因以色列轻忽了她的淫乱，与石头和木头行奸淫，她和这地就都污秽了。

你们有祸了！因为你们建造先知的坟墓，那些先知正是你们的祖宗所杀的。可见你们祖宗所做的事，你们是证人，你们也赞同，因为他们杀了先知，你们建造先知的坟墓。

耶和华的怒气向以色列发作，使他们在旷野飘流四十年，直到在耶和华眼前作恶的那一代都消灭了。看哪，你们这一伙罪人，竟然接续你们父执之辈，再增加耶和华对以色列所发的怒气。你们若转离不跟从他，他要再把以色列人撇在旷野；这样，你们就使这众百姓灭亡了。”
