“‘我在旷野曾对他们的子孙说，不要效法你们祖先的律例，不要遵守他们的规条，不要拜他们的偶像，以致玷污自己。

I said to their children in the wilderness,“ Do not follow the statutes of your parents or keep their laws or defile yourselves with their idols.

I spoke to their children there. I said,‘ Do not follow the rules your parents gave you. Do not obey their laws. Do not make yourselves“ unclean” by worshiping their gods.

“ And I said to their children in the wilderness,‘ Do not walk in the statutes of your fathers, nor keep their rules, nor defile yourselves with their idols.

“ Then I warned their children not to follow in their parents’ footsteps, defiling themselves with their idols.

“‘ Then I said to their children in the wilderness,“ Don’t follow the statutes of your fathers, defile yourselves with their idols, or keep their ordinances.

“ Instead, I said to their children in the wilderness,‘ Do not walk in the statutes of your fathers or keep their ordinances or defile yourselves with their idols.

“ But I said to their children in the wilderness,‘ Do not walk in the statutes of your fathers, nor observe their judgments, nor defile yourselves with their idols.

And I said unto their children in the wilderness, Walk ye not in the statutes of your fathers, neither observe their ordinances, nor defile yourselves with their idols.

“ Then I said to their children in the wilderness: Don’t follow the statutes of your fathers, defile yourselves with their idols, or keep their ordinances.

But I said unto their children in the wilderness, Walk ye not in the statutes of your fathers, neither observe their judgments, nor defile yourselves with their idols:

“‘ But I said to their children in the wilderness,“ Do not follow the practices of your fathers; do not observe their regulations, nor defile yourselves with their idols.

I said to their children in the wilderness,‘ Don’t walk in the statutes of your fathers. Don’t observe their ordinances or defile yourselves with their idols.

我对他们说：你们各人要抛弃你们眼中那些可憎的像，不可因埃及的偶像玷污自己：我是耶和华你们的神。

耶和华因巴力．毗珥的事所行的，你们都亲眼看见了；所有跟随巴力．毗珥的人，耶和华你们的神都从你们中间消灭了。只有你们紧紧倚靠耶和华你们的神的人，今日全都活着。看哪，我照着耶和华我的神吩咐我的，把律例和典章教训你们，好让你们在将要进去得为业的地上遵行。所以你们要谨守遵行，因为在万民的眼中看来，这就是你们的智慧和聪明；他们一听见这一切律例，就必定说：‘这大国的人真是有智慧，有聪明啊。’

因为知道你们得赎，脱去你们祖先传下的妄行，不是凭着能坏的金银等物，

“耶和华曾对你们的列祖大发烈怒，所以，你要对众民说：‘万军之耶和华这样说：你们要转向我（这是万军之耶和华的宣告），我就必转向你们（这是万军之耶和华说的）。不要效法你们的列祖那样，从前的先知呼唤他们：万军之耶和华这样说，你们要回转，离开你们的恶道和恶行。他们却不听从，也不理会我（这是耶和华的宣告）。

我领你们进入这肥美之地，得吃其中的果子和美物；可是你们一进来，就玷污了我的地；你们使我的产业成为可憎恶的。

好使后代的人，包括将要出生的儿女，都可以知道；他们也要起来，告诉他们的子孙，使他们信靠神，不忘记神的作为，谨守他的诫命；免得他们像他们的列祖，成了顽梗悖逆的一代，心不坚定的一代，他们的心对神不忠。

至于你们，你们的尸体必倒在这旷野。你们的儿女必在旷野飘流四十年，担当你们背信之罪，直到你们的尸体在旷野都灭尽了。

“你们颈项刚硬、心和耳都未受割礼的人哪！你们时常抗拒圣灵，你们的祖先怎样，你们也怎样。

因以色列把自己的淫行视作等闲，去与石头木头行淫，就把这地玷污了。

你们有祸了！因为你们修造先知的坟墓，而那些先知正是你们祖先所杀的，这样，你们就成了证人，对你们祖先的作为表示同意；他们杀害先知，你们修造先知的坟墓。

耶和华的怒气向以色列人发作，使他们在旷野飘流了四十年，等到在耶和华眼前行恶的那一代都灭尽了。现在，你们这些罪人的族类，也来接替你们的先祖，增添耶和华对以色列的烈怒！如果你们转离，不跟从他，他再要把以色列人撇在旷野，这样，你们就要把整个民族都毁灭了。”
