I also swore to them in the wilderness that I would not bring them to the land I had given them– a land flowing with milk and honey, the most beautiful of all lands.

并且我在旷野向他们起誓，必不领他们进入我所赐给他们流奶与蜜之地，那地在万国中是有荣耀的；

我在旷野也曾经向他们举手起誓，必不领他们到我赐给他们的流奶与蜜之地，就是万邦中最荣美的地。

我在曠野也曾經向他們舉手起誓，必不領他們到我賜給他們的流奶與蜜之地，就是萬邦中最榮美的地。

我並且我在曠野也曾向他們舉手起了誓、必不領他們進我所賜給他們、流奶與蜜之地，就是在列邦中最華美的；

我復在野發誓、必不導之入我所賜流乳與蜜之地、即諸地之美者、

彼尚在曠野、我誓不導之入產乳與蜜之地、斯地列國所羨美。

我亦在曠野為之發誓、必不導之入我所賜之之地、即流乳與蜜之地、其地在列國中最佳美、

Also with uplifted hand I swore to them in the wilderness that I would not bring them into the land I had given them— a land flowing with milk and honey, the most beautiful of all lands—

I also raised my hand and made a promise in the desert. I told my people I would not bring them into the land I had given them. It had plenty of milk and honey. It was the most beautiful land of all.

So he made a solemn vow that he would make them die in the desert,

“ As I swore in my anger,‘ They will never enter my rest!’”

When the LORD heard you, he became angry and made this vow:“ Not a single person of this evil generation will see the good land that I promised to give to your ancestors!

they will by no means see the land that I swore to their fathers, nor will any of them who despised me see it.Only my servant Caleb, because he had a different spirit and has followed me fully– I will bring him into the land where he had gone, and his descendants will possess it.( Now the Amalekites and the Canaanites were living in the valleys.) Tomorrow, turn and journey into the wilderness by the way of the Red Sea.”The LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron:“ How long must I bear with this evil congregation that murmurs against me? I have heard the complaints of the Israelites that they murmured against me.Say to them,‘ As I live, says the LORD, I will surely do to you just what you have spoken in my hearing.Your dead bodies will fall in this wilderness– all those of you who were numbered, according to your full number, from twenty years old and upward, who have murmured against me.You will by no means enter into the land where I swore to settle you. The only exceptions are Caleb son of Jephunneh and Joshua son of Nun.

But there was not a man among these who had been among those numbered by Moses and Aaron the priest when they numbered the Israelites in the wilderness of Sinai.For the LORD had said of them,“ They will surely die in the wilderness.” And there was not left a single man of them, except Caleb son of Jephunneh and Joshua son of Nun.

I also swore to them in the wilderness that I would scatter them among the nations and disperse them throughout the lands.

For we who have believed enter that rest, as he has said,“ As I swore in my anger,‘ They will never enter my rest!’” And yet God’s works were accomplished from the foundation of the world.

And to whom did he swear they would never enter into his rest, except those who were disobedient?
