我並且我在曠野也曾向他們舉手起了誓、必不領他們進我所賜給他們、流奶與蜜之地，就是在列邦中最華美的；

并且我在旷野向他们起誓，必不领他们进入我所赐给他们流奶与蜜之地，那地在万国中是有荣耀的；

并且我在旷野向他们起誓，必不领他们进入我所赐的流奶与蜜之地，就是全地中最美好之地；

我在旷野曾向他们发誓，不带他们进入我赐给他们的那奶蜜之乡，那世上最佳美的地方，

我在旷野也曾经向他们举手起誓，必不领他们到我赐给他们的流奶与蜜之地，就是万邦中最荣美的地。

並且我在曠野向他們起誓，必不領他們進入我所賜給他們流奶與蜜之地（那地在萬國中是有榮耀的）；

我復在野發誓、必不導之入我所賜流乳與蜜之地、即諸地之美者、

彼尚在曠野、我誓不導之入產乳與蜜之地、斯地列國所羨美。

我亦在曠野為之發誓、必不導之入我所賜之之地、即流乳與蜜之地、其地在列國中最佳美、

Also with uplifted hand I swore to them in the wilderness that I would not bring them into the land I had given them— a land flowing with milk and honey, the most beautiful of all lands—

I also raised my hand and made a promise in the desert. I told my people I would not bring them into the land I had given them. It had plenty of milk and honey. It was the most beautiful land of all.

Moreover, I swore to them in the wilderness that I would not bring them into the land that I had given them, a land flowing with milk and honey, the most glorious of all lands,

因此我發義怒地起誓說：他們斷不得以進我所賜的安居地。

因此他對他們舉了手起誓，必使他們倒斃於曠野，

我就帶着義怒起誓說：「他們斷不得以進我的安息」』——

『永恆主聽見了你們的話的語氣，就惱怒，便起誓說：「這壞世代的人、連一個也不得以看見我所起誓應許給你們列祖的美好之地；

這些人也斷不得看見我向他們祖宗起誓應許之地；凡藐視我的、一個也不得看見。但是我的僕人迦勒、因他另有一種精神、他滿心滿意地跟從我，我就要領他進他所去過的地；他的後裔也必取得那地為產業。如今亞瑪力人和迦南人既住在山谷中，明天你們要轉身，按到蘆葦海的路向往前行、到曠野去。』永恆主對摩西、亞倫說：『這些向我發怨言的壞會眾、我容忍他們要到幾時呢？以色列人哀怨我的牢騷話、我都聽見了。你要告訴他們說：「永恆主發神諭說：我指着永活的我來起誓，你們既說給我親耳聽見了，我就一定要照你們所說的待你們。你們的屍身必倒斃在這曠野；你們凡被點閱過的、按你們的總數、從二十歲和以上的、凡向我發怨言的、都一定不得進入我所舉手起誓叫你們居住的地；惟獨耶孚尼的兒子迦勒和嫩的兒子約書亞才得以進去。

但這些人中間沒有一個人是摩西和祭司亞倫、在西乃曠野點閱以色列人所點閱過的。因為永恆主曾經說到他們、說：『他們一定必死在曠野。』所以除了耶孚尼的兒子迦勒、和嫩的兒子約書亞以外、他們中間連一個人也沒有留下來。

我並且在曠野也曾向他們舉手起誓過要使他們分散在列國，使他們四散在列邦；

到底還是我們這些相信的人竟得進入安息呢；正如上帝所說的：『我帶着怒氣起誓說，他們斷不得以進入我的安息』。其實上帝之工、從世界創立以來就已作完了。

他向誰起誓說、他們必不得以進入他的安息呢？豈不是向那些硬不信從的人是向誰呢？
