就打發他們的門徒同希律黨人去見耶穌，說：「老師，我們知道你是誠實的，並且誠誠實實傳神的道，無論誰你都一視同仁，因為你不看人的面子。

有幾個以色列的長老到我這裏來，坐在我面前。耶和華的話臨到我，說：「人子啊，這些人在心中設立偶像，把陷自己於罪的絆腳石放在面前，我真的能讓他們求問嗎？

米該雅來到王那裏，王問他：「米該雅，我們可以上去攻打基列的拉末嗎？還是不要上去呢？」他對王說：「你可以上去，必然得勝，耶和華必將那城交在王的手中。」王對他說：「我要你發誓多少次，你才會奉耶和華的名向我說實話呢？」米該雅說：「我看見以色列眾人散佈在山上，如同沒有牧人的羊羣一般。耶和華說：『這些人沒有主人，他們可以平安地各自回家去。』」以色列王對約沙法說：「我豈沒有告訴你，這人對我說預言，從不說吉言，只說凶信嗎？」米該雅說：「因此你要聽耶和華的話！我看見耶和華坐在寶座上，天上的萬軍侍立在他左右。耶和華說：『誰去引誘亞哈上基列的拉末去陣亡呢？』這個這樣說，那個那樣說。隨後有一個靈出來，站在耶和華面前，說：『我去引誘他。』耶和華問他：『用甚麼方法呢？』他說：『我要出去，在他眾先知的口中成為謊言的靈。』耶和華說：『這樣，你去引誘他，必能成功。你出去，照樣做吧！』現在，看哪，耶和華使謊言的靈入了你所有的這些先知的口，並且耶和華已經宣告要降禍於你。」基拿拿的兒子西底家前來，打米該雅一巴掌，說：「耶和華的靈從哪裏離開我向你說話呢？」米該雅說：「看哪，你進入嚴密的內室躲藏的那日，就必看見。」以色列王說：「把米該雅帶走，交回給亞們市長和約阿施王子，你們要說：『王如此說，把這個人關在監獄裏，使他受苦，吃不飽喝不足，直等到我平安回來。』」米該雅說：「你若真的能平安回來，那就是耶和華沒有藉我說這話了。」他又說：「眾百姓啊，你們都要聽！」

過了三天，他們發現他在聖殿裏，坐在教師中間，一面聽，一面問。

她有一個妹妹，名叫馬利亞，在主的腳前坐着聽他的道。

西底家王差人提他出來，在自己的宮內私下問他說：「有甚麼話從耶和華臨到沒有？」耶利米說：「有！」又說：「你必被交在巴比倫王手中。」
