Son of man, listen to what I tell you. Do not be like those who refuse to obey me. Open your mouth. Eat what I give you.”

“人子啊，要听我对你所说的话，不要悖逆像那悖逆之家，你要开口吃我所赐给你的。”

“但是你，人子啊，要听我对你说的话，不要像那悖逆之家一样悖逆，要开口吃我所赐给你的。”

“但是你，人子啊，要听我对你说的话，不要像那悖逆之家一样悖逆，要开口吃我所赐给你的。”

“人子啊，你要听我对你说的话，不要像他们那样叛逆，要张开口吃我赐给你的。”

“人子啊！至于你，你要听我对你讲的话。不要叛逆我，像那叛逆的民族一样。张开你的口，把我赐给你的吃下去！”

「人子啊，要聽我對你所說的話，不要悖逆像那悖逆之家，你要開口吃我所賜給你的。」

「但是你，人子啊，要聽我對你說的話，不要像那悖逆之家一樣悖逆，要開口吃我所賜給你的。」

「但是你，人子啊，要聽我對你說的話，不要像那悖逆之家一樣悖逆，要開口吃我所賜給你的。」

「人子啊，你要聽我對你說的話，不要像他們那樣叛逆，要張開口吃我賜給你的。」

“人子啊！至於你，你要聽我對你講的話。不要叛逆我，像那叛逆的民族一樣。張開你的口，把我賜給你的吃下去！”

但你呢，人子啊，你可要聽我所告訴你的；不要叛逆，像叛逆之家一樣；你要開口喫我所賜給你的』。

惟爾人子、其聽我言、爾毋悖逆、若彼悖逆之家、當啟爾口、食我所賜、

惟爾人子、宜聽我言、爾毋若彼悖逆、爾當啟口、食我所賜。

惟爾人子、聽我所諭爾、爾勿忤逆、若彼忤逆之族、啟口食我所賜爾者、

But you, son of man, listen to what I say to you. Do not rebel like that rebellious people; open your mouth and eat what I give you.”

“ But you, son of man, hear what I say to you. Be not rebellious like that rebellious house; open your mouth and eat what I give you.”

Son of man, listen to what I say to you. Do not join them in their rebellion. Open your mouth, and eat what I give you.”

“ And you, son of man, listen to what I tell you: Do not be rebellious like that rebellious house. Open your mouth and eat what I am giving you.”

“ Now you, son of man, listen to what I am speaking to you; do not be rebellious like that rebellious house. Open your mouth wide and eat what I am giving you.”

But you, son of man, hear what I say to you. Do not be rebellious like that rebellious house; open your mouth and eat what I give you.”

But thou, son of man, hear what I say unto thee; be not thou rebellious like that rebellious house: open thy mouth, and eat that which I give thee.

“ And you, son of man, listen to what I tell you: Do not be rebellious like that rebellious house. Open your mouth and eat what I am giving you.”

As for you, son of man, listen to what I am saying to you: Do not rebel like that rebellious house! Open your mouth and eat what I am giving you.”

But you, son of man, hear what I tell you. Don’t be rebellious like that rebellious house. Open your mouth, and eat that which I give you.”

So I went to the angel and asked him to give me the little scroll. He said to me,“ Take it and eat it. It will become sour in your stomach. But‘ in your mouth it will taste as sweet as honey.’ ”( Ezekiel 3:3)

When I received your words, I ate them. They filled me with joy. My heart took delight in them. Lord God who rules over all, I belong to you.

The Lord and King has unplugged my ears. I’ve always obeyed him. I haven’t turned away from him.

Don’t fail to use the gift the Holy Spirit gave you. He gave it to you through a prophecy from God. It was given when the elders placed their hands on you.Keep on doing these things. Give them your complete attention. Then everyone will see how you are coming along.Be careful of how you live and what you believe. Never give up. Then you will save yourself and those who hear you.

“ Aaron will join the members of his family who have already died. He will not enter the land I am giving to the Israelites. Both of you refused to obey my command. You did it at the waters of Meribah.

He continued,“ Son of man, listen carefully. Take to heart everything I tell you.

Don’t act as if you were a ruler over those under your care. Instead, be examples to the flock.

The Lord said to me,“ Son of man, eat what is in front of you. Eat this scroll. Then go and speak to the people of Israel.”So I opened my mouth. And he gave me the scroll to eat.Then he said to me,“ Son of man, eat this scroll I am giving you. Fill your stomach with it.” So I ate it. And it tasted as sweet as honey in my mouth.

He and Aaron gathered the people together in front of the rock. Moses said to them,“ Listen, you who refuse to obey! Do we have to bring water out of this rock for you?”Then Moses raised his arm. He hit the rock twice with his walking stick. Water poured out. And the people and their livestock drank it.But the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron. He said,“ You did not trust in me enough to honor me. You did not honor me as the holy God in front of the Israelites. So you will not bring this community into the land I am giving them.”Those were the waters of Meribah. That’s where the Israelites argued with the Lord. And that’s where he was proven to be holy among them.

Then Moses spoke to Aaron. He said,“ That’s what the Lord was talking about when he said,“‘ Among those who approach me I will show that I am holy. In the sight of all the people I will be honored.’ ” So Aaron remained silent.

He cried out to the man who had come from Judah. He told him,“ The Lord says,‘ You have not done what I told you to do. You have not obeyed the command I gave you. I am the Lord your God.You came back here and ate bread and drank water. You did it in the place where I told you not to. So your body will not be buried in your family tomb.’ ”
