“人子啊！至于你，你要听我对你讲的话。不要叛逆我，像那叛逆的民族一样。张开你的口，把我赐给你的吃下去！”

但你呢，人子啊，你可要聽我所告訴你的；不要叛逆，像叛逆之家一樣；你要開口喫我所賜給你的』。

惟爾人子、其聽我言、爾毋悖逆、若彼悖逆之家、當啟爾口、食我所賜、

But you, son of man, listen to what I say to you. Do not rebel like that rebellious people; open your mouth and eat what I give you.”

我就走到天使那裏，對他說：「請你把小書卷給我。」他對我說：「你拿着吃盡了，便叫你肚子發苦，然而在你口中要甜如蜜。」

耶和華－萬軍之神啊，我得着你的言語就當食物吃了；你的言語是我心中的歡喜快樂，因我是稱為你名下的人。

主耶和華開通我的耳朵；我並沒有違背，也沒有退後。

你不要輕忽所得的恩賜，就是從前藉着預言、在眾長老按手的時候賜給你的。這些事你要殷勤去做，並要在此專心，使眾人看出你的長進來。你要謹慎自己和自己的教訓，要在這些事上恆心；因為這樣行，又能救自己，又能救聽你的人。

「亞倫要歸到他列祖那裏。他必不得入我所賜給以色列人的地；因為在米利巴水，你們違背了我的命。

他又對我說：「人子啊，我對你所說的一切話，要心裏領會，耳中聽聞。

也不是轄制所託付你們的，乃是作羣羊的榜樣。

他對我說：「人子啊，要吃你所得的，要吃這書卷，好去對以色列家講說。」於是我開口，他就使我吃這書卷，又對我說：「人子啊，要吃我所賜給你的這書卷，充滿你的肚腹。」我就吃了，口中覺得其甜如蜜。

摩西、亞倫就招聚會眾到磐石前。摩西說：「你們這些背叛的人聽我說：我為你們使水從這磐石中流出來嗎？」摩西舉手，用杖擊打磐石兩下，就有許多水流出來，會眾和他們的牲畜都喝了。耶和華對摩西、亞倫說：「因為你們不信我，不在以色列人眼前尊我為聖，所以你們必不得領這會眾進我所賜給他們的地去。」這水名叫米利巴水，是因以色列人向耶和華爭鬧，耶和華就在他們面前顯為聖。

於是摩西對亞倫說：「這就是耶和華所說：『我在親近我的人中要顯為聖；在眾民面前，我要得榮耀。』」亞倫就默默不言。

他就對那從猶大來的神人說：「耶和華如此說：你既違背耶和華的話，不遵守耶和華－你神的命令，反倒回來，在耶和華禁止你吃飯喝水的地方吃了喝了，因此你的屍身不得入你列祖的墳墓。」
