人子啊，你不要怕他們，他們的話你可不要懼怕，雖有頂撞和藐視的人如同荊棘和蒺藜在你那裏，你又住在蠍子中間；他們的話你可不要懼怕，你不要因他們的臉色而驚慌；他們原是叛逆之家。

惟爾人子、雖居荊棘蒺藜與蠍之中、勿畏之、亦勿畏其言、彼雖悖逆之家、勿畏其言、勿懼其貌、

惟爾人子、毋庸畏葸、彼悖逆殘賊、爾居其中、若與蠍同處、勿懼其言、毋畏其威。

And you, son of man, do not be afraid of them or their words. Do not be afraid, though briers and thorns are all around you and you live among scorpions. Do not be afraid of what they say or be terrified by them, though they are a rebellious people.

“ Son of man, do not fear them or their words. Don’t be afraid even though their threats surround you like nettles and briers and stinging scorpions. Do not be dismayed by their dark scowls, even though they are rebels.

“ But you, son of man, do not be afraid of them and do not be afraid of their words, even though briers and thorns are beside you and you live among scorpions. Don’t be afraid of their words or discouraged by the look on their faces, for they are a rebellious house.

And as for you, son of man, you are not to fear them nor fear their words, though thistles and thorns are with you and you sit on scorpions; you are not to fear their words nor be dismayed at their presence, since they are a rebellious house.

“ And you, son of man, do not be afraid of them nor be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns are with you and you dwell among scorpions; do not be afraid of their words or dismayed by their looks, though they are a rebellious house.

And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns are with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they are a rebellious house.

“ But you, son of man, do not be afraid of them or their words, though briers and thorns are beside you and you live among scorpions. Don’t be afraid of their words or be discouraged by the look on their faces, for they are a rebellious house.

And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns[ be] with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they[ be] a rebellious house.

But you, son of man, do not fear them, and do not fear their words– even though briers and thorns surround you and you live among scorpions– do not fear their words and do not be terrified of the looks they give you, for they are a rebellious house!

你不要怕他們，因為我與你同在，要拯救你。這是耶和華說的。」

他們當中最好的，不過像蒺藜；最正直的，不過如荊棘籬笆。你守候的日子，懲罰已經來到，他們必擾亂不安。

所以你當束腰，起來，將我所吩咐你的一切話都告訴他們；不要因他們驚惶，免得我使你在他們面前驚惶。

我已經給你們權柄可以踐踏蛇和蠍子，又勝過仇敵一切的能力，絕沒有甚麼能害你們。

我，惟有我是安慰你們的。你是誰，竟怕那必死的人，怕那生命如草的世人，

因着信，他離開埃及，不怕王的憤怒，因為他恆心忍耐，如同看見那不能看見的上帝。

即使你們為義受苦，也是有福的。不要怕人的威嚇，也不要驚慌；

因為上帝賜給我們的不是膽怯的心，而是剛強、仁愛、自制的心。

有一類人，眼目何其高傲，眼皮也是高舉。有一類人，牙如劍，齒如刀，要吞滅地上的困苦人和世間的貧窮人。

「我的朋友，我對你們說，那最多只能殺人身體而不能再做甚麼的，不要怕他們。

也要為我祈求，讓我有口才，能放膽開口講明福音的奧祕，

看哪，我使你的臉堅硬，對抗他們的臉；使你的額頭堅硬，對抗他們的額頭。我使你的額頭像金剛石，比火石更堅硬。他們雖是悖逆之家，但你不要怕他們，也不要因他們的臉色而驚惶。」

耶和華的使者對以利亞說：「你跟他下去，不要怕他！」以利亞就起來，跟他下到王那裏去。

邪惡如火焚燒，吞滅荊棘和蒺藜，在稠密的樹林中點燃，成為煙柱，旋轉上騰。

那殺人身體但不能滅人靈魂的，不要怕他們；惟有那能在地獄裏毀滅身體和靈魂的，才要怕他。

我必使你的舌頭貼住上膛，以致你啞口，不能作責備他們的人；他們原是悖逆之家。但我對你說話的時候，必使你開口，你就要對他們說：『主耶和華如此說。』聽的，讓他聽；不聽的，任他不聽，因為他們是悖逆之家。」

絲毫不怕敵人的威脅；以此證明他們會沉淪，你們會得救，這是出於上帝。

伯特利的祭司亞瑪謝派人到以色列王耶羅波安那裏，說：「阿摩司在以色列家中圖謀背叛你，他所說的一切話，這地不能承擔；因為阿摩司這樣說：『耶羅波安必被刀殺，以色列百姓必被擄，離開本地。』」於是亞瑪謝對阿摩司說：「你這先見哪，要逃到猶大地，在那裏過活，在那裏說預言；卻不要在伯特利再說預言，因為這裏有王的聖所，有王的宮殿。」阿摩司對亞瑪謝說：「我原不是先知，也不是先知的門徒；我是牧人，是修剪桑樹的。耶和華帶領我，叫我不再牧放羊羣，對我說：『你去向我子民以色列說預言。』「現在你要聽耶和華的話。你說：『不要向以色列說預言，也不要向以撒家傳講。』所以耶和華如此說：『你的妻子要在城中作妓女，你的兒女要倒在刀下；你的地必有人用繩子量了瓜分，你自己必死在不潔淨之地；以色列百姓必被擄，離開本地。』」

他們見彼得、約翰的膽量，又看出他們原是沒有學問的平民，就很驚訝，認出他們曾是跟耶穌一起的；

主啊，現在求你鑒察，他們的威嚇，使你僕人放膽講你的道，

至於我，我藉耶和華的靈，滿有能力、公平和勇氣，可以向雅各述說他的過犯，向以色列指出他的罪惡。

「四圍恨惡以色列家的人，對他們必不再如刺人的荊棘，傷人的蒺藜；他們就知道我是主耶和華。」

他們說：「來吧！讓我們設計謀害耶利米；因為我們有祭司講律法，有智慧人設謀略，有先知說預言，都未曾斷絕。來吧！讓我們用舌頭攻擊他，不要理他一切的話。」

但無賴全都像被丟棄的荊棘；它們不能用手去拿；碰它們的人必須用鐵器和槍桿，它們必在那裏被火燒盡。」

彼得和約翰回答他們說：「聽從你們，不聽從上帝，在上帝面前合理不合理，你們自己判斷吧！

有蝗蟲從煙中出來，飛到地上，有權柄賜給牠們，好像地上的蠍子有權柄一樣。牠們奉命不可傷害地上的草、各樣綠色植物和各種樹木，惟獨可傷害額上沒有上帝印記的人；但是不許蝗蟲害死他們，只可使他們受痛苦五個月；這痛苦就像人被蠍子螫了的痛苦一樣。在那些日子，人求死，卻死不了；想死，死卻避開他們。

知道公義、將我的訓誨存在心中的人哪，當聽從我！不要怕人的辱罵，也不要因人的毀謗驚惶。

他們極其悖逆，到處毀謗人，他們是銅是鐵，全都敗壞了。
