惟爾人子、雖居荊棘蒺藜與蠍之中、勿畏之、亦勿畏其言、彼雖悖逆之家、勿畏其言、勿懼其貌、

惟爾人子、毋庸畏葸、彼悖逆殘賊、爾居其中、若與蠍同處、勿懼其言、毋畏其威。

And you, son of man, do not be afraid of them or their words. Do not be afraid, though briers and thorns are all around you and you live among scorpions. Do not be afraid of what they say or be terrified by them, though they are a rebellious people.

“ But you, son of man, do not be afraid of them and do not be afraid of their words, even though briers and thorns are beside you and you live among scorpions. Don’t be afraid of their words or discouraged by the look on their faces, for they are a rebellious house.

And as for you, son of man, you are not to fear them nor fear their words, though thistles and thorns are with you and you sit on scorpions; you are not to fear their words nor be dismayed at their presence, since they are a rebellious house.

“ And you, son of man, do not be afraid of them nor be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns are with you and you dwell among scorpions; do not be afraid of their words or dismayed by their looks, though they are a rebellious house.

你不要懼怕他們，因為我與你同在，要拯救你。這是耶和華說的。

他們最好的，不過是蒺藜；最正直的，不過是荊棘籬笆。你守望者說，降罰的日子已經來到。他們必擾亂不安。

所以你當束腰，起來將我所吩咐你的一切話告訴他們；不要因他們驚惶，免得我使你在他們面前驚惶。

我已經給你們權柄可以踐踏蛇和蠍子，又勝過仇敵一切的能力，斷沒有甚麼能害你們。

惟有我，是安慰你們的。你是誰，竟怕那必死的人？怕那要變如草的世人？

他因着信，就離開埃及，不怕王怒；因為他恆心忍耐，如同看見那不能看見的主。

你們就是為義受苦，也是有福的。不要怕人的威嚇，也不要驚慌；

因為神賜給我們，不是膽怯的心，乃是剛強、仁愛、謹守的心。

有一宗人，眼目何其高傲，眼皮也是高舉。有一宗人，牙如劍，齒如刀，要吞滅地上的困苦人和世間的窮乏人。

「我的朋友，我對你們說，那殺身體以後不能再做甚麼的，不要怕他們。

也為我祈求，使我得着口才，能以放膽開口講明福音的奧祕，

看哪，我使你的臉硬過他們的臉，使你的額硬過他們的額。我使你的額像金鋼鑽，比火石更硬。他們雖是悖逆之家，你不要怕他們，也不要因他們的臉色驚惶。」

耶和華的使者對以利亞說：「你同着他下去，不要怕他！」以利亞就起來，同着他下去見王，

邪惡像火焚燒，燒滅荊棘和蒺藜，在稠密的樹林中着起來，就成為煙柱，旋轉上騰。

那殺身體、不能殺靈魂的，不要怕他們；惟有能把身體和靈魂都滅在地獄裏的，正要怕他。

我必使你的舌頭貼住上膛，以致你啞口，不能作責備他們的人；他們原是悖逆之家。但我對你說話的時候，必使你開口，你就要對他們說：『主耶和華如此說。』聽的可以聽，不聽的任他不聽，因為他們是悖逆之家。」

凡事不怕敵人的驚嚇，這是證明他們沉淪，你們得救都是出於神。

伯特利的祭司亞瑪謝打發人到以色列王耶羅波安那裏，說：「阿摩司在以色列家中圖謀背叛你；他所說的一切話，這國擔當不起；因為阿摩司如此說：『耶羅波安必被刀殺；以色列民定被擄去離開本地。』」亞瑪謝又對阿摩司說：「你這先見哪，要逃往猶大地去，在那裏糊口，在那裏說預言，卻不要在伯特利再說預言；因為這裏有王的聖所，有王的宮殿。」阿摩司對亞瑪謝說：「我原不是先知，也不是先知的門徒。我是牧人，又是修理桑樹的。耶和華選召我，使我不跟從羊羣，對我說：『你去向我民以色列說預言。』亞瑪謝啊，現在你要聽耶和華的話。你說：『不要向以色列說預言，也不要向以撒家滴下預言。』所以耶和華如此說：『你的妻子必在城中作妓女；你的兒女必倒在刀下。你的地必有人用繩子量了分取；你自己必死在污穢之地。以色列民定被擄去離開本地。』」

他們見彼得、約翰的膽量，又看出他們原是沒有學問的小民，就希奇，認明他們是跟過耶穌的；

他們恐嚇我們，現在求主鑒察，一面叫你僕人大放膽量講你的道，一面伸出你的手來醫治疾病，並且使神蹟奇事因着你聖僕耶穌的名行出來。」

至於我，我藉耶和華的靈，滿有力量、公平、才能，可以向雅各說明他的過犯，向以色列指出他的罪惡。

「四圍恨惡以色列家的人，必不再向他們作刺人的荊棘，傷人的蒺藜，人就知道我是主耶和華。」

他們就說：「來吧！我們可以設計謀害耶利米；因為我們有祭司講律法，智慧人設謀略，先知說預言，都不能斷絕。來吧！我們可以用舌頭擊打他，不要理會他的一切話。」

但匪類都必像荊棘被丟棄；人不敢用手拿它；拿它的人必帶鐵器和槍桿，終久它必被火焚燒。

彼得、約翰說：「聽從你們，不聽從神，這在神面前合理不合理，你們自己酌量吧！

有蝗蟲從煙中出來，飛到地上；有能力賜給牠們，好像地上蠍子的能力一樣，並且吩咐牠們說，不可傷害地上的草和各樣青物，並一切樹木，惟獨要傷害額上沒有神印記的人。但不許蝗蟲害死他們，只叫他們受痛苦五個月。這痛苦就像蠍子螫人的痛苦一樣。在那些日子，人要求死，決不得死；願意死，死卻遠避他們。

知道公義、將我訓誨存在心中的民，要聽我言！不要怕人的辱罵，也不要因人的毀謗驚惶。

他們都是極悖逆的，往來讒謗人。他們是銅是鐵，都行壞事。
