第二樣災禍過去了；看哪，第三樣災禍快到了。

論到猶大王約雅敬你要說，耶和華如此說：你燒了這書卷，說：『你為甚麼在上面寫着，巴比倫王必要來毀滅這地，使這地絕了人民和牲畜呢？』所以耶和華論到猶大王約雅敬說：他後裔中必沒有人坐在大衛的寶座上；他的屍首必被拋棄，白天受炎熱，黑夜受寒霜。我必因他和他後裔，並他臣僕的罪孽懲罰他們。我要使我所說的一切災禍臨到他們和耶路撒冷的居民，並猶大人；只是他們不肯聽從。」於是，耶利米又取一書卷交給尼利亞的兒子巴錄文士，他就從耶利米的口中寫了猶大王約雅敬在火中所燒書卷上的一切話，另外又添了許多相仿的話。

耶和華回答我，說：將這默示清楚地寫在看板上，使人容易朗讀。
