耶和华对我说：“现在，你去当着他们的面把这些话刻在版上，记在书卷上，永远留给后世作明证。他们是悖逆的民族，是说谎的儿女，不肯听从耶和华的教导。他们对先见说，‘你们不要再看异象了。’又对先知说，‘不要再教导我们是非对错。给我们说些好听的话，讲些虚幻的事吧。让开！不要挡我们的路！不要再给我们讲以色列圣者的事。’

第二样灾难过去了，第三样灾难又接踵而来！

论到犹大王约雅敬，你要这样写，‘耶和华说，你把卷轴烧掉，还说为什么上面写着巴比伦王必来毁灭这地方和其中的人畜。所以耶和华说，犹大王约雅敬啊，你的子孙没有一人能登大卫的宝座，你的尸体必被弃之荒野，遭受烈日的暴晒和夜霜的侵袭。我要因你、你后裔和你臣仆的罪恶而惩罚你们。因为你们不听我的警告，我要给你们以及耶路撒冷和犹大的居民降下我说过的灾祸。’”于是，耶利米又拿了一个卷轴，交给尼利亚的儿子书记巴录，他按耶利米的口述，把犹大王约雅敬烧毁的那卷轴上的话都记下来，还增添了许多类似的话。

耶和华对我说：“将我的启示记下来，清楚地刻在版上，便于人们阅读。
