He does not feast in the mountains before Israel’s idols or worship them. He does not commit adultery or have intercourse with a woman during her menstrual period.

未曾在山上吃过祭偶像之物，未曾仰望以色列家的偶像，未曾玷污邻舍的妻，未曾在妇人的经期内亲近她，

未曾在山上吃祭物，未曾向以色列家的偶像举目；未曾污辱邻舍的妻，也未曾在妇人的经期间亲近她；

未曾在山上吃祭物，未曾向以色列家的偶像举目；未曾污辱邻舍的妻，也未曾在妇人的经期间亲近她；

不在山上的庙宇里吃祭物，不拜以色列的偶像，不玷污别人的妻子，不亲近经期中的妇女；

他不在山上吃祭肉，眼目也不仰望以色列家的偶像，不玷污邻舍的妻子，不亲近在经期中的妇人；

他不在山上吃祭肉，眼目也不仰望以色列家的偶像，不玷污鄰舍的妻子，不親近在經期中的婦人；

不在山上喫祭偶像之物，不舉目瞻仰以色列家的偶像，不玷污鄰舍的妻，不親近經期污穢中的婦人，

未食於山、未瞻仰以色列家之偶像、未污其鄰之妻、未近天癸之婦、

不食岡巒之祭品、不敬以色列族所崇偶像、不淫人妻、妻癸水至、不與同寢、

不食於山上獻偶像之祭物、不舉目於於或作仰望以色列族之偶像、不淫人妻、妻行經時、不與親近、

He does not eat at the mountain shrines or look to the idols of Israel. He does not defile his neighbor’s wife or have sexual relations with a woman during her period.

And he does not eat at the mountain temples. He does not worship the statues of Israel’s gods. He does not sleep with another man’s wife. He does not have sex with his own wife during her monthly period.

if he does not eat upon the mountains or lift up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, does not defile his neighbor’s wife or approach a woman in her time of menstrual impurity,

If he has not eaten on the mountains, Nor lifted up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, Nor defiled his neighbor’s wife, Nor approached a woman during her impurity;

and hath not eaten upon the mountains, neither hath lifted up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, neither hath defiled his neighbor’s wife, neither hath come near to a woman in her impurity,

He does not eat at the mountain shrines or raise his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel. He does not defile his neighbor’s wife or come near a woman during her menstrual impurity.

[ And] hath not eaten upon the mountains, neither hath lifted up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, neither hath defiled his neighbour’s wife, neither hath come near to a menstruous woman,

does not eat pagan sacrifices on the mountains or pray to the idols of the house of Israel, does not defile his neighbor’s wife, does not have sexual relations with a woman during her period,

and has not eaten on the mountains, hasn’t lifted up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, hasn’t defiled his neighbor’s wife, hasn’t come near a woman in her impurity,

This son refuses to worship idols on the mountains and does not commit adultery.

And when you look up into the sky and see the sun, moon, and stars— all the forces of heaven— don’t be seduced into worshiping them. The Lord your God gave them to all the peoples of the earth.

They will know that I am the Lord when their dead lie scattered among their idols and altars on every hill and mountain and under every green tree and every great shade tree— the places where they offered sacrifices to their idols.

because they did not obey my regulations. They scorned my decrees by violating my Sabbath days and longing for the idols of their ancestors.

People accuse others falsely and send them to their death. You are filled with idol worshipers and people who do obscene things.Men sleep with their fathers’ wives and force themselves on women who are menstruating.Within your walls live men who commit adultery with their neighbors’ wives, who defile their daughters in law, or who rape their own sisters.

And that son does all the evil things his father would never do— he worships idols on the mountains, commits adultery,oppresses the poor and helpless, steals from debtors by refusing to let them redeem their security, worships idols, commits detestable sins,

“ If a man has sexual relations with a woman during her menstrual period, both of them must be cut off from the community, for together they have exposed the source of her blood flow.

“ Do not have sexual relations with a woman during her period of menstrual impurity.“ Do not defile yourself by having sexual intercourse with your neighbor’s wife.

I look up to the mountains— does my help come from there?

“ If a man commits adultery with his neighbor’s wife, both the man and the woman who have committed adultery must be put to death.

Don’t you realize that those who do wrong will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don’t fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin, or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or are male prostitutes, or practice homosexuality,or are thieves, or greedy people, or drunkards, or are abusive, or cheat people— none of these will inherit the Kingdom of God.Some of you were once like that. But you were cleansed; you were made holy; you were made right with God by calling on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

When you follow the desires of your sinful nature, the results are very clear: sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures,idolatry, sorcery, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissension, division,envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other sins like these. Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone living that sort of life will not inherit the Kingdom of God.

for when I brought them into the land I had promised them, they offered sacrifices on every high hill and under every green tree they saw! They roused my fury as they offered up sacrifices to their gods. They brought their perfumes and incense and poured out their liquid offerings to them.

But I say, anyone who even looks at a woman with lust has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

“ If a man is discovered committing adultery, both he and the woman must die. In this way, you will purge Israel of such evil.“ Suppose a man meets a young woman, a virgin who is engaged to be married, and he has sexual intercourse with her. If this happens within a town,you must take both of them to the gates of that town and stone them to death. The woman is guilty because she did not scream for help. The man must die because he violated another man’s wife. In this way, you will purge this evil from among you.“ But if the man meets the engaged woman out in the country, and he rapes her, then only the man must die.Do nothing to the young woman; she has committed no crime worthy of death. She is as innocent as a murder victim.Since the man raped her out in the country, it must be assumed that she screamed, but there was no one to rescue her.“ Suppose a man has intercourse with a young woman who is a virgin but is not engaged to be married. If they are discovered,he must pay her father fifty pieces of silver. Then he must marry the young woman because he violated her, and he may never divorce her as long as he lives.“ A man must not marry his father’s former wife, for this would violate his father.

Then I said to them,‘ Each of you, get rid of the vile images you are so obsessed with. Do not defile yourselves with the idols of Egypt, for I am the Lord your God.’

So tell these people,‘ This is what the Sovereign Lord says: You eat meat with blood in it, you worship idols, and you murder the innocent. Do you really think the land should be yours?Murderers! Idolaters! Adulterers! Should the land belong to you?’

“ You must not make a treaty of any kind with the people living in the land. They lust after their gods, offering sacrifices to them. They will invite you to join them in their sacrificial meals, and you will go with them.

Give honor to marriage, and remain faithful to one another in marriage. God will surely judge people who are immoral and those who commit adultery.

No, not at all. I am saying that these sacrifices are offered to demons, not to God. And I don’t want you to participate with demons.

These women invited them to attend sacrifices to their gods, so the Israelites feasted with them and worshiped the gods of Moab.

I lift my eyes to you, O God, enthroned in heaven.We keep looking to the Lord our God for his mercy, just as servants keep their eyes on their master, as a slave girl watches her mistress for the slightest signal.

They are well fed, lusty stallions, each neighing for his neighbor’s wife.Should I not punish them for this?” says the Lord.“ Should I not avenge myself against such a nation?
