Again, when a wicked man turns away from the wickedness which he committed, and does what is lawful and right, he preserves himself alive.

如惡人轉離所行之惡、循法合理、必保其生、

如惡人悛改素行、孳孳為義、則可得生、

如惡人悛改所行之惡、為義行善、必保其生命、

But if a wicked person turns away from the wickedness they have committed and does what is just and right, they will save their life.

And he answered and said,‘ I go, sir,’ but he did not go.Which of the two did the will of his father?” They said to Him,“ The first.” Jesus said to them,“ Assuredly, I say to you that tax collectors and harlots enter the kingdom of God before you.For John came to you in the way of righteousness, and you did not believe him; but tax collectors and harlots believed him; and when you saw it, you did not afterward relent and believe him.

And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying,“ Be saved from this perverse generation.”

He heard the sound of the trumpet, but did not take warning; his blood shall be upon himself. But he who takes warning will save his life.

Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine. Continue in them, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you.
