Yet you say,‘ The way of the Lord is not right.’ Hear now, house of Israel! Is My way not right? Is it not your ways that are not right?

“你们还说：‘主的道不公平！’以色列家啊，你们当听，我的道岂不公平吗？你们的道岂不是不公平吗？

“你们却说：‘主的道不公平！’以色列家啊，你们要听，我的道不公平吗？你们的道不是不公平吗？

“你们却说：‘主的道不公平！’以色列家啊，你们要听，我的道不公平吗？你们的道不是不公平吗？

“你们说，主这样做不公平。以色列人啊，你们听着，是我的做法不公平呢？还是你们的做法不公平呢？

“你们还说：‘主所行的不公平。’以色列家啊，你们要听！我所行的哪里不公平呢？岂不是你们所行的不公平吗？

「你們還說：『主的道不公平！』以色列家啊，你們當聽，我的道豈不公平嗎？你們的道豈不是不公平嗎？

「你們卻說：『主的道不公平！』以色列家啊，你們要聽，我的道不公平嗎？你們的道不是不公平嗎？

「你們卻說：『主的道不公平！』以色列家啊，你們要聽，我的道不公平嗎？你們的道不是不公平嗎？

「你們說，主這樣做不公平。以色列人啊，你們聽著，是我的做法不公平呢？還是你們的做法不公平呢？

“你們還說：‘主所行的不公平。’以色列家啊，你們要聽！我所行的哪裡不公平呢？豈不是你們所行的不公平嗎？

『你們還說：「主所行的不公正。」以色列家啊，你們要聽！我所行的哪裏是不公正呢？豈不是你們所行的不公正麼？

惟爾曹云、主道不公、以色列家其聽之、我之道、豈非公乎、爾之道、豈非不公乎、

爾言我耶和華所行、不尚正直、以色列族宜聽我言、我所行者、惟秉大公、爾所為者、尚存偏頗。

爾曹猶言主之道不公平、不公平或作不相宜下同以色列族聽歟、我之道豈不公平、惟爾曹之道不公平、

“ Yet you say,‘ The way of the Lord is not just.’ Hear, you Israelites: Is my way unjust? Is it not your ways that are unjust?

“ But you say,‘ What the Lord does isn’t fair.’ Listen to me, you Israelites. What I do is always fair. What you do is not.

“ Yet you say,‘ The way of the Lord is not just.’ Hear now, O house of Israel: Is my way not just? Is it not your ways that are not just?

“ Yet you say,‘ The Lord isn’t doing what’s right!’ Listen to me, O people of Israel. Am I the one not doing what’s right, or is it you?

“ But you say,‘ The Lord’s way isn’t fair.’ Now listen, house of Israel: Is it my way that is unfair? Instead, isn’t it your ways that are unfair?

“ Yet you say,‘ The way of the Lord is not fair.’ Hear now, O house of Israel, is it not My way which is fair, and your ways which are not fair?

Yet ye say, The way of the Lord is not equal. Hear now, O house of Israel: Is not my way equal? are not your ways unequal?

“ But you say,‘ The Lord’s way isn’t fair.’ Now listen, house of Israel: Is it My way that is unfair? Instead, isn’t it your ways that are unfair?

Yet ye say, The way of the Lord is not equal. Hear now, O house of Israel; Is not my way equal? are not your ways unequal?

“ Yet you say,‘ The Lord’s conduct is unjust!’ Hear, O house of Israel: Is my conduct unjust? Is it not your conduct that is unjust?

“ Yet you say,‘ The way of the Lord is not equal.’ Hear now, house of Israel: Is my way not equal? Aren’t your ways unequal?

“ Your words have been arrogant against Me,” says the Lord.“ Yet you say,‘ What have we spoken against You?’You have said,‘ It is pointless to serve God; and what benefit is it for us that we have done what He required, and that we have walked in mourning before the Lord of armies?So now we call the arrogant blessed; not only are the doers of wickedness built up, but they also put God to the test and escape punishment.’ ”

“ Yet your fellow citizens say,‘ The way of the Lord is not right,’ when it is their own way that is not right.

Far be it from You to do such a thing, to kill the righteous with the wicked, so that the righteous and the wicked are treated alike. Far be it from You! Shall not the Judge of all the earth deal justly?”

Righteous are You, Lord, when I plead my case with You; Nevertheless I would discuss matters of justice with You: Why has the way of the wicked prospered? Why are all those who deal in treachery at ease?

Yet you say,‘ The way of the Lord is not right.’ I will judge each of you according to his ways, house of Israel.”

You have wearied the Lord with your words. Yet you say,“ How have we wearied Him?” In that you say,“ Everyone who does evil is good in the sight of the Lord, and He delights in them,” or,“ Where is the God of justice?”

The Lord is righteous within her; He will do no injustice. Every morning He brings His justice to light; He does not fail. But the criminal knows no shame.

But the house of Israel says,‘ The way of the Lord is not right.’ Are My ways not right, house of Israel? Is it not your ways that are not right?

The Rock! His work is perfect, For all His ways are just; A God of faithfulness and without injustice, Righteous and just is He.

On the contrary, who are you, you foolish person, who answers back to God? The thing molded will not say to the molder,“ Why did you make me like this,” will it?

And the heavens declare His righteousness, For God Himself is judge. Selah

‘ Please listen, and I will speak; I will ask You, and You instruct me.’I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear; But now my eye sees You;Therefore I retract, And I repent, sitting on dust and ashes.”

But if our unrighteousness demonstrates the righteousness of God, what shall we say? The God who inflicts wrath is not unrighteous, is He?( I am speaking from a human viewpoint.)

Have you not done this to yourself By your abandoning the Lord your God When He led you in the way?But now what are you doing on the road to Egypt, Except to drink the waters of the Nile? Or what are you doing on the road to Assyria, Except to drink the waters of the Euphrates River?Your own wickedness will correct you, And your apostasies will punish you; Know therefore and see that it is evil and bitter For you to abandon the Lord your God, And the fear of Me is not in you,” declares the Lord God of armies.“ For long ago I broke your yoke And tore off your restraints; But you said,‘ I will not serve!’ For on every high hill And under every leafy tree You have lain down as a prostitute.Yet I planted you as a choice vine, A completely faithful seed. How then have you turned yourself before Me Into the degenerate shoots of a foreign vine?Although you wash yourself with lye And use much soap, The stain of your guilt is before Me,” declares the Lord God.“ How can you say,‘ I am not defiled, I have not gone after the Baals’? Look at your way in the valley! Know what you have done! You are a swift young camel running about senselessly on her ways,

The Lord is righteous in all His ways, And kind in all His works.

Will you really nullify My judgment? Will you condemn Me so that you may be justified?

“ Do you think this is in accordance with justice? Do you say,‘ My righteousness is more than God’s’?

When they received it, they grumbled at the landowner,saying,‘ These who were hired last worked only one hour, and you have made them equal to us who have borne the burden of the day’s work and the scorching heat.’But he answered and said to one of them,‘ Friend, I am doing you no wrong; did you not agree with me for a denarius?Take what is yours and go; but I want to give to this last person the same as to you.Is it not lawful for me to do what I want with what is my own? Or is your eye envious because I am generous?’

But the anger of Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite, of the family of Ram, burned against Job; his anger burned because he justified himself before God.

These things you have done and I kept silent; You thought that I was just like you; I will rebuke you and present the case before your eyes.

because by the works of the Law none of mankind will be justified in His sight; for through the Law comes knowledge of sin.

For Job has said,‘ I am righteous, But God has taken away my right;Should I lie about my right? My wound is incurable, though I am without wrongdoing.’What man is like Job, Who drinks up derision like water,Who goes in company with the workers of injustice, And walks with wicked people?For he has said,‘ It is of no use to a man When he becomes friends with God.’“ Therefore, listen to me, you men of understanding. Far be it from God to do evil, And from the Almighty to do wrong.

“ Why do you contend with Me? You have all revolted against Me,” declares the Lord.“ In vain I have struck your sons; They did not accept discipline. Your sword has devoured your prophets Like a destroying lion.You generation, look to the word of the Lord. Have I been a wilderness to Israel, Or a land of thick darkness? Why do My people say,‘ We are free to roam; We will no longer come to You’?Can a virgin forget her jewelry, Or a bride her attire? Yet My people have forgotten Me For days without number.How well you prepare your way To seek love! Therefore even to the wicked women You have taught your ways.Also on your skirts is found The lifeblood of the innocent poor; You did not find them breaking in. But in spite of all these things,You said,‘ I am innocent; Surely His anger is turned away from me.’ Behold, I will enter into judgment with you Because you say,‘ I have not sinned.’Why do you go around so much Changing your way? Also, you will be put to shame by Egypt, Just as you were put to shame by Assyria.From this place as well you will go out With your hands on your head; For the Lord has rejected those in whom you trust, And you will not prosper with them.”

“ Now it will happen that, when you tell this people all these words, they will say to you,‘ For what reason has the Lord declared all this great disaster against us? And what is our wrongdoing, or what is our sin that we have committed against the Lord our God?’Then you are to say to them,‘ It is because your forefathers have abandoned Me,’ declares the Lord,‘ and have followed other gods, and served and worshiped them; but they have abandoned Me and have not kept My Law.You too have done evil, even more than your forefathers; for behold, each one of you is following the stubbornness of his own evil heart, without listening to Me.So I will hurl you off this land to the land which you have not known, neither you nor your fathers; and there you will serve other gods day and night, because I will show you no compassion.’

For not knowing about God’s righteousness and seeking to establish their own, they did not subject themselves to the righteousness of God.

But because of your stubbornness and unrepentant heart you are storing up wrath for yourself on the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God,who will repay each person according to his deeds:
