The one who sins is the one who will die. The child will not share the guilt of the parent, nor will the parent share the guilt of the child. The righteousness of the righteous will be credited to them, and the wickedness of the wicked will be charged against them.

A person will die because of their own sins. A child will not be guilty because of what their parent did. And a parent will not be guilty because of what their child did. The right things a godly person does will be added to their account. The wrong things a sinful person does will be charged against them.

The soul who sins shall die. The son shall not suffer for the iniquity of the father, nor the father suffer for the iniquity of the son. The righteousness of the righteous shall be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon himself.

看哪，所有的生命都是屬我的；父親的生命怎樣屬我，兒子的生命也照樣屬我；然而犯罪的，他必定死。

求你在天上垂聽、處理，向你的僕人施行審判，定惡人有罪，照他所行的報應在他頭上；定義人為義，照他的義賞賜他。

他要照各人的行為報應各人。凡恆心行善，尋求榮耀、尊貴和不能朽壞的，就有永生報償他們；但是那些自私自利、不順從真理、反順從不義的人，就有惱恨、憤怒報應他們。他要把患難、困苦加給一切作惡的人，先是猶太人，後是希臘人；

耶和華對亞倫說：「你和你的兒子，以及你父家的人，要一同擔當干犯聖所的罪孽；你和你的兒子也要擔當干犯祭司職分的罪孽。

我又看見死了的人，無論大小，都站在寶座前。案卷都展開了，並另有一卷展開，就是生命冊。死了的人都憑着這些案卷所記載的，照他們所行的受審判。

我又要殺死她的兒女，眾教會就知道，我是那察看人肺腑心腸的，我要照你們的行為報應各人。

然而，派你們來求問耶和華的猶大王，你們要這樣回覆他：『耶和華－以色列的上帝如此說：至於你所聽見的話，就是聽見我指着這地方和其上的居民說，要使這地方變為荒蕪、百姓受詛咒的話，你的心就軟化，在耶和華面前謙卑下來，撕裂衣服，向我哭泣，因此我應允你。這是耶和華說的。因此，看哪，我必使你歸到你祖先那裏，平安地進入墳墓；我要降於這地方的一切災禍，你不會親眼看見。』」他們就去把這話回覆王。

你們要對義人說，他是有福的，因為他必吃自己行為所結的果實。惡人有禍了！他必遭災難！因為他要按自己手所做的受報應。

人子要在他父的榮耀裏與他的眾使者一起來臨，那時候，他要照各人的行為報應各人。

「人子啊，你要對以色列家說：你們曾這樣說：『我們的過犯罪惡在自己身上，我們必因此消滅，怎能存活呢？』

因自己的勞苦，他必看見光就心滿意足。因自己的認識，我的義僕使許多人得稱為義，他要擔當他們的罪孽。

求你從天上垂聽、處理，向你的僕人施行審判，定惡人有罪，照他所行的報應在他頭上；定義人為義，照他的義賞賜他。

「看哪，我必快來！賞罰在我，要照每個人所行的報應他。我是阿拉法，我是俄梅戛；我是首先的，我是末後的；我是開始，我是終結。」那些洗淨自己衣服的有福了！他們可得權柄到生命樹那裏，也能從門進城。城外有犬類、行邪術的、淫亂的、殺人的、拜偶像的，以及所有喜愛和行虛謊的人。

「若有人犯了罪，就是聽見了誓言，他本來可以作證，卻不把所看見、所知道的說出來，必須擔當他的罪孽。

「若有人犯罪，在任何事上犯了一條耶和華所吩咐的禁令，他雖不察覺，仍算有罪，必須擔當自己的罪孽。

同樣，基督既然一次獻上，擔當了許多人的罪，將來要第二次顯現，與罪無關，而是為了拯救熱切等候他的人。

向人取利息，索取高利，這人豈能存活呢？他不能存活。他因做這一切可憎的事，必要死亡，他的血要歸到自己身上。

他被掛在木頭上，親身擔當了我們的罪，使我們既然在罪上死，就得以在義上活。因他受的鞭傷，你們得了醫治。

吃的人必擔當自己的罪孽，因為他褻瀆了耶和華的聖物，這人必從百姓中剪除。

求你從天上你的居所垂聽赦免。因為你知道人心，惟有你知道世人的心，求你照各人所行的一切待他們，

所以，以色列家啊，我必按你們各人所做的審判你們。當回轉，回轉離開你們一切的罪過，免得罪孽成為你們的絆腳石。這是主耶和華說的。

以色列眾人必為他哀哭，為他安葬。凡屬耶羅波安的人，只有他可以葬入墳墓，因為在耶羅波安的家中，只有他向耶和華－以色列的上帝表現出好的行為。

「你要向左側臥，承擔以色列家的罪孽；按你向左側臥的日數，擔當他們的罪孽。

「你們為何沒有在聖所吃這贖罪祭呢？它是至聖的，是耶和華給你們的，為了除掉會眾的罪孽，在耶和華面前為他們贖罪。

這羊要擔當他們一切的罪孽，帶到無人之地；那人要把羊送到曠野去。
