The one who sins is the one who will die. The child will not share the guilt of the parent, nor will the parent share the guilt of the child. The righteousness of the righteous will be credited to them, and the wickedness of the wicked will be charged against them.

A person will die because of their own sins. A child will not be guilty because of what their parent did. And a parent will not be guilty because of what their child did. The right things a godly person does will be added to their account. The wrong things a sinful person does will be charged against them.

The soul who sins shall die. The son shall not suffer for the iniquity of the father, nor the father suffer for the iniquity of the son. The righteousness of the righteous shall be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon himself.

看哪，所有的生命都是属我的；父亲的生命怎样属我，儿子的生命也照样属我；然而犯罪的，他必定死。

求你在天上垂听、处理，向你的仆人施行审判，定恶人有罪，照他所行的报应在他头上；定义人为义，照他的义赏赐他。

他要照各人的行为报应各人。凡恒心行善，寻求荣耀、尊贵和不能朽坏的，就有永生报偿他们；但是那些自私自利、不顺从真理、反顺从不义的人，就有恼恨、愤怒报应他们。他要把患难、困苦加给一切作恶的人，先是犹太人，后是希腊人；

却没有处死他们的儿子，这是照摩西律法书上耶和华所吩咐的说：“不可因子杀父，也不可因父杀子，各人要为自己的罪而死。”

当那些日子，人不再说：‘父亲吃了酸葡萄，儿子牙齿就酸倒。’但各人要因自己的罪死亡；凡吃酸葡萄的，自己的牙必酸倒。

耶和华对亚伦说：“你和你的儿子，以及你父家的人，要一同担当干犯圣所的罪孽；你和你的儿子也要担当干犯祭司职分的罪孽。

我又看见死了的人，无论大小，都站在宝座前。案卷都展开了，并另有一卷展开，就是生命册。死了的人都凭着这些案卷所记载的，照他们所行的受审判。

我又要杀死她的儿女，众教会就知道，我是那察看人肺腑心肠的，我要照你们的行为报应各人。

然而，派你们来求问耶和华的犹大王，你们要这样回覆他：‘耶和华—以色列的上帝如此说：至于你所听见的话，就是听见我指着这地方和其上的居民说，要使这地方变为荒芜、百姓受诅咒的话，你的心就软化，在耶和华面前谦卑下来，撕裂衣服，向我哭泣，因此我应允你。这是耶和华说的。因此，看哪，我必使你归到你祖先那里，平安地进入坟墓；我要降于这地方的一切灾祸，你不会亲眼看见。’”他们就去把这话回覆王。

你们要对义人说，他是有福的，因为他必吃自己行为所结的果实。恶人有祸了！他必遭灾难！因为他要按自己手所做的受报应。

人子要在他父的荣耀里与他的众使者一起来临，那时候，他要照各人的行为报应各人。

“人子啊，你要对以色列家说：你们曾这样说：‘我们的过犯罪恶在自己身上，我们必因此消灭，怎能存活呢？’

因自己的劳苦，他必看见光就心满意足。因自己的认识，我的义仆使许多人得称为义，他要担当他们的罪孽。

求你从天上垂听、处理，向你的仆人施行审判，定恶人有罪，照他所行的报应在他头上；定义人为义，照他的义赏赐他。

“看哪，我必快来！赏罚在我，要照每个人所行的报应他。我是阿拉法，我是俄梅戛；我是首先的，我是末后的；我是开始，我是终结。”那些洗净自己衣服的有福了！他们可得权柄到生命树那里，也能从门进城。城外有犬类、行邪术的、淫乱的、杀人的、拜偶像的，以及所有喜爱和行虚谎的人。

“若有人犯了罪，就是听见了誓言，他本来可以作证，却不把所看见、所知道的说出来，必须担当他的罪孽。

“若有人犯罪，在任何事上犯了一条耶和华所吩咐的禁令，他虽不察觉，仍算有罪，必须担当自己的罪孽。

同样，基督既然一次献上，担当了许多人的罪，将来要第二次显现，与罪无关，而是为了拯救热切等候他的人。

向人取利息，索取高利，这人岂能存活呢？他不能存活。他因做这一切可憎的事，必要死亡，他的血要归到自己身上。

他被挂在木头上，亲身担当了我们的罪，使我们既然在罪上死，就得以在义上活。因他受的鞭伤，你们得了医治。

吃的人必担当自己的罪孽，因为他亵渎了耶和华的圣物，这人必从百姓中剪除。

求你从天上你的居所垂听赦免。因为你知道人心，惟有你知道世人的心，求你照各人所行的一切待他们，

所以，以色列家啊，我必按你们各人所做的审判你们。当回转，回转离开你们一切的罪过，免得罪孽成为你们的绊脚石。这是主耶和华说的。

以色列众人必为他哀哭，为他安葬。凡属耶罗波安的人，只有他可以葬入坟墓，因为在耶罗波安的家中，只有他向耶和华—以色列的上帝表现出好的行为。

“你要向左侧卧，承担以色列家的罪孽；按你向左侧卧的日数，担当他们的罪孽。

“你们为何没有在圣所吃这赎罪祭呢？它是至圣的，是耶和华给你们的，为了除掉会众的罪孽，在耶和华面前为他们赎罪。

这羊要担当他们一切的罪孽，带到无人之地；那人要把羊送到旷野去。
