The one who sins is the one who will die. The child will not share the guilt of the parent, nor will the parent share the guilt of the child. The righteousness of the righteous will be credited to them, and the wickedness of the wicked will be charged against them.

The right things a godly person does will be added to their account. The wrong things a sinful person does will be charged against them.

耶和華對亞倫說：「你和你的兒子及親族要承擔觸犯聖所的罪責；你和你兒子也要承擔觸犯祭司職務的罪責。

我又看見死去的人，不論尊卑老少，都站在寶座前面。案卷都展開了，另有一卷，就是生命冊也打開了。死去的人都要憑案卷中有關他們行為的記錄受審判。

我要擊殺她的爪牙，使眾教會都知道我洞察人的心思意念，我要照你們各人的行為對待你們。

你們告訴差你們來求問耶和華的猶大王，至於你所聽見的那些話，以色列的上帝耶和華說，因為你聽到我對這地方及其居民的警告，知道這地方要受咒詛、淪為荒場，便悔改，在我面前謙卑，撕裂衣服，向我哭泣。因此，我垂聽了你的禱告。這是我耶和華說的。我會讓你平安入土到你祖先那裡。你不會看到我要降給這地方的一切災難。』」他們便回去稟告王。

要告訴義人：他們有福了，必得善報。惡人有禍了！他們必大禍臨頭，受到報應。

「因為人子要在祂父的榮耀裡與眾天使一起降臨，那時，祂將按照各人的行為報應各人。

「人子啊，你要對以色列人說，『你們說，我們背負過犯和罪惡，正因此而滅亡。我們怎能存活下去呢？

祂必看見自己勞苦的成果，並心滿意足。耶和華說：「我公義的僕人必憑祂的知識使許多人被算為義人，祂要擔當他們的罪惡。

求你從天上垂聽，在你眾僕人當中施行審判，按他們的行為罰惡賞善。

「看啊，我快要來了，到時候我要按各人的行為施行賞罰。我是阿拉法，我是俄梅加；我是首先的，我是末後的；我是開始，我是終結。那些洗淨自己衣裳的人有福了！他們有權吃生命樹的果子，也可以從城門進入城中。那些如同惡犬的敗類、行邪術的、淫亂的、殺人的、拜偶像的和一切喜歡弄虛作假的，都要被拒之城外。

「如果有人當庭作證，卻不肯把自己所知所見的說出來，就是犯罪，要擔負罪責。

「如果有人觸犯耶和華的誡命，即使他不知道，也是有罪的，必須擔當罪責。

同樣，基督為了承擔世人的罪，也曾一次獻上自己。祂還要再來，不是來除罪，而是來拯救那些熱切等候祂的人。

放債取利，這樣的人還能活著嗎？他必不能活。他作惡多端，必自取滅亡，抵償自己的血債。

祂被釘在十字架上，親身擔當了我們的罪，使我們向著罪死了，可以過公義的生活。因祂所受的鞭傷，你們得到了醫治。

那人要自擔罪責，因為他褻瀆了我的聖物。要將他從民中剷除。

求你從天上的居所垂聽，赦免他們。唯獨你能洞察人心，你必按各人的行為施行賞罰，

「所以主耶和華說，『以色列人啊，我必按你們各人的行為審判你們。你們要悔改，痛改前非，使你們不致死在罪惡中。

全以色列會為他哀悼，把他埋葬。耶羅波安家人中只有他將得到安葬，因為以色列的上帝耶和華在他身上看見了良善。

「你要向左側臥，擔當以色列人的罪惡。要用你向左側臥的天數擔當以色列人的罪惡。

「你們為什麼不在聖潔之處吃這贖罪祭？這是至聖之物，耶和華賜給你們是要叫你們為會眾擔罪，在耶和華面前為他們贖罪。

這隻公山羊擔當他們的一切罪，將這一切罪帶到荒無人煙的地方。
