不挾制貧乏、不取利、不迫索、遵我禮儀、守我法度、若此者、不可因父之罪並加誅殛、必全其生命。

缩手不害贫穷人，未曾向借钱的弟兄取利，也未曾向借粮的弟兄多要；他顺从我的典章，遵行我的律例，就不因父亲的罪孽死亡，定要存活。

He withholds his hand from mistreating the poor and takes no interest or profit from them. He keeps my laws and follows my decrees. He will not die for his father’s sin; he will surely live.

He keeps himself from committing sins. He does not charge interest when he lends money to poor people. He does not make money from them. He keeps my laws and obeys my rules. He will not die because of his father’s sin. You can be sure he will live.

貸人金、不取利、不迫索、與人交、不作惡、恆為善、遵我禮儀、守我法度、真實無妄、斯為義人、必保其生、我耶和華已言之矣。

撒該起、謂主曰、主、我以所有之半濟貧、誣詐人者、則四倍償之、

當彼在曠野時、我告其子孫曰、勿效列祖之尤、勿從其所行、勿拜其所崇之偶像、自致污衊、

王伸貧民之冤、真實無妄、國祚綿長。

如爾示義人、使不犯罪、聽爾訓悔、彼可得生、爾亦無咎、

爾曹曰、子負父罪曷故、如人子為義、守我法度則可保生、犯者必死、子不負父罪、父不負子罪、善者必獲善報、惡者必獲惡報。如惡人悛改素行、守我禮儀、孳孳為義、則可保生、不就死地、

因其思慮、悛改厥惡、則保其生、不就死地。

萬有之主耶和華曰、自列祖以來、爾背我法度、不遵我道、然爾歸誠於我、而我必復加眷顧、爾曰、若何為之歸誠、

主憐而釋之、免其債、其臣出、遇同僚、負十金、執之、扼其吭曰、爾所負者、當償我、同僚俯伏求曰、請寛我、我將盡償、弗許、下之獄、責償所負、諸同僚見之、憂甚、以其事赴愬於主、主召之曰、惡哉臣也、爾所負求我、我則免之、不當矜恤同僚、亦猶我矜恤爾乎、由是主怒、交之獄吏、責償所負、若爾眾不心赦兄弟之過、則我天父視爾亦將如是、

故爾當告以色列族云、主耶和華曰、列祖狥欲、崇拜偶像、爾何效尤、自取污衊。

我濟困乏、猶父之慈子、疏者我為之理其事、

爾當守我法度、彼之所行、事多可憎、玷及其身、爾毋則傚、我耶和華爾之上帝所命如此。

爾則告之曰、耶和華云、因爾列祖、遐棄我躬、不守我法、乃從他上帝、俯伏崇拜。爾濟祖惡尤甚、各縱私欲、不遵我命、故我驅爾出斯土、至爾與爾祖所未識之國、在彼仍服事他上帝、晝夜不息、我因此不加矜恤。

貧人之事、義者力為治理、惡者置若罔聞。

我之法度禮儀、爾必順從、我耶和華爾之上帝、所命若此。

我言善人必生、如彼自恃其善、陷罪觸法、則其前善、必不復憶、因其作惡、必置之死、

偽善之士子、𠵽唎㘔人、其有禍乎、以爾建先知之塋、飾義人之墓、每曰、若我在我祖時、則不與謀流先知之血、如是、爾自證為殺先知者之裔、何不盈爾祖之量乎、噫、蛇蝮之類、安能逭地獄刑乎、

耶利米曰耶和華與、爾施大力、以捍衛予、我罹患難、爾拯救予、異邦人自地極將至、告曰、我祖所崇事者、誕妄無益。

我今勸王棄惡歸善、矜憫貧乏、則享綏安、庶幾恆久、

故爾曹不論宗族賓旅、當守我法度禮儀、毋蹈此愆。

深堪痛疾、子母是權、迫索是為、若此者生命豈能保乎、既作不端、必就死地、不保其生、自取罪戾、

受人質則反之、盜人物則償之、不復為惡、遵我法度、以望得生、則生命可保、死所不臨。不復念其舊惡、因彼眾善奉行、則必獲生。

虐遇貧乏者、侮造化之主、矜憫窮民者則尊之。
