Who has withdrawn his hand from the poor And not received usury or increase, But has executed My judgments And walked in My statutes— He shall not die for the iniquity of his father; He shall surely live!

缩手不害贫穷人，未曾向借钱的弟兄取利，也未曾向借粮的弟兄多要；他顺从我的典章，遵行我的律例，就不因父亲的罪孽死亡，定要存活。

禁手不虐貧乏、不取利息、守我律例、循我典章、斯人不因父罪而死、必得生存、

不挾制貧乏、不取利、不迫索、遵我禮儀、守我法度、若此者、不可因父之罪並加誅殛、必全其生命。

禁手勿壓制貧乏、不索利、不取息、守我法度、行我律例、斯人必不因父之罪愆死亡、必得生存、

He withholds his hand from mistreating the poor and takes no interest or profit from them. He keeps my laws and follows my decrees. He will not die for his father’s sin; he will surely live.

He keeps himself from committing sins. He does not charge interest when he lends money to poor people. He does not make money from them. He keeps my laws and obeys my rules. He will not die because of his father’s sin. You can be sure he will live.

If he has not exacted usury Nor taken any increase, But has withdrawn his hand from iniquity And executed true judgment between man and man;If he has walked in My statutes And kept My judgments faithfully— He is just; He shall surely live!” Says the Lord GOD.

Then Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord,“ Look, Lord, I give half of my goods to the poor; and if I have taken anything from anyone by false accusation, I restore fourfold.”

“ But I said to their children in the wilderness,‘ Do not walk in the statutes of your fathers, nor observe their judgments, nor defile yourselves with their idols.

The king who judges the poor with truth, His throne will be established forever.

Nevertheless if you warn the righteous man that the righteous should not sin, and he does not sin, he shall surely live because he took warning; also you will have delivered your soul.”

“ Yet you say,‘ Why should the son not bear the guilt of the father?’ Because the son has done what is lawful and right, and has kept all My statutes and observed them, he shall surely live.The soul who sins shall die. The son shall not bear the guilt of the father, nor the father bear the guilt of the son. The righteousness of the righteous shall be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon himself.“ But if a wicked man turns from all his sins which he has committed, keeps all My statutes, and does what is lawful and right, he shall surely live; he shall not die.

Because he considers and turns away from all the transgressions which he committed, he shall surely live; he shall not die.

Yet from the days of your fathers You have gone away from My ordinances And have not kept them. Return to Me, and I will return to you,” Says the Lord of hosts.“ But you said,‘ In what way shall we return?’

Then the master of that servant was moved with compassion, released him, and forgave him the debt.“ But that servant went out and found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred denarii; and he laid hands on him and took him by the throat, saying,‘ Pay me what you owe!’So his fellow servant fell down at his feet and begged him, saying,‘ Have patience with me, and I will pay you all.’And he would not, but went and threw him into prison till he should pay the debt.So when his fellow servants saw what had been done, they were very grieved, and came and told their master all that had been done.Then his master, after he had called him, said to him,‘ You wicked servant! I forgave you all that debt because you begged me.should you not also have had compassion on your fellow servant, just as I had pity on you?’And his master was angry, and delivered him to the torturers until he should pay all that was due to him.“ So My heavenly Father also will do to you if each of you, from his heart, does not forgive his brother his trespasses.”

Therefore say to the house of Israel,‘ Thus says the Lord GOD:“ Are you defiling yourselves in the manner of your fathers, and committing harlotry according to their abominations?

I was a father to the poor, And I searched out the case that I did not know.

‘ Therefore you shall keep My ordinance, so that you do not commit any of these abominable customs which were committed before you, and that you do not defile yourselves by them: I am the Lord your God.’”

then you shall say to them,‘ Because your fathers have forsaken Me,’ says the Lord;‘ they have walked after other gods and have served them and worshiped them, and have forsaken Me and not kept My law.And you have done worse than your fathers, for behold, each one follows the dictates of his own evil heart, so that no one listens to Me.Therefore I will cast you out of this land into a land that you do not know, neither you nor your fathers; and there you shall serve other gods day and night, where I will not show you favor.’

The righteous considers the cause of the poor, But the wicked does not understand such knowledge.

He judged the cause of the poor and needy; Then it was well. Was not this knowing Me?” says the Lord.

You shall observe My judgments and keep My ordinances, to walk in them: I am the Lord your God.

When I say to the righteous that he shall surely live, but he trusts in his own righteousness and commits iniquity, none of his righteous works shall be remembered; but because of the iniquity that he has committed, he shall die.

“ Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you build the tombs of the prophets and adorn the monuments of the righteous,and say,‘ If we had lived in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.’“ Therefore you are witnesses against yourselves that you are sons of those who murdered the prophets.Fill up, then, the measure of your fathers’ guilt.Serpents, brood of vipers! How can you escape the condemnation of hell?

O Lord, my strength and my fortress, My refuge in the day of affliction, The Gentiles shall come to You From the ends of the earth and say,“ Surely our fathers have inherited lies, Worthlessness and unprofitable things.”

Therefore, O king, let my advice be acceptable to you; break off your sins by being righteous, and your iniquities by showing mercy to the poor. Perhaps there may be a lengthening of your prosperity.”

You shall therefore keep My statutes and My judgments, and shall not commit any of these abominations, either any of your own nation or any stranger who dwells among you

If he has exacted usury Or taken increase— Shall he then live? He shall not live! If he has done any of these abominations, He shall surely die; His blood shall be upon him.

if the wicked restores the pledge, gives back what he has stolen, and walks in the statutes of life without committing iniquity, he shall surely live; he shall not die.None of his sins which he has committed shall be remembered against him; he has done what is lawful and right; he shall surely live.

He who oppresses the poor reproaches his Maker, But he who honors Him has mercy on the needy.
