不挾制貧乏、不取利、不迫索、遵我禮儀、守我法度、若此者、不可因父之罪並加誅殛、必全其生命。

He withholds his hand from mistreating the poor and takes no interest or profit from them. He keeps my laws and follows my decrees. He will not die for his father’s sin; he will surely live.

He keeps himself from committing sins. He does not charge interest when he lends money to poor people. He does not make money from them. He keeps my laws and obeys my rules. He will not die because of his father’s sin. You can be sure he will live.

and if he does not lend money at interest or take interest, if he keeps his hand from injustice and executes true justice between one person and another,if he walks in My statutes and keeps My ordinances so as to deal faithfully— he is righteous and will certainly live,” declares the Lord God.

But Zaccheus stopped and said to the Lord,“ Behold, Lord, half of my possessions I am giving to the poor, and if I have extorted anything from anyone, I am giving back four times as much.”

“ Instead, I said to their children in the wilderness,‘ Do not walk in the statutes of your fathers or keep their ordinances or defile yourselves with their idols.

If a king judges the poor with truth, His throne will be established forever.

However, if you have warned the righteous person that the righteous is not to sin, and he does not sin, he shall certainly live because he took warning; and you have saved yourself.”

“ Yet you say,‘ Why should the son not suffer the punishment for the father’s guilt?’ When the son has practiced justice and righteousness and has kept all My statutes and done them, he shall certainly live.The person who sins will die. A son will not suffer the punishment for the father’s guilt, nor will a father suffer the punishment for the son’s guilt; the righteousness of the righteous will be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked will be upon himself.“ But if the wicked person turns from all his sins which he has committed and keeps all My statutes and practices justice and righteousness, he shall certainly live; he shall not die.

Since he understood and turned away from all his offenses which he had committed, he shall certainly live; he shall not die.

“ From the days of your fathers you have turned away from My statutes and have not kept them. Return to Me, and I will return to you,” says the Lord of armies.“ But you say,‘ How shall we return?’

And the master of that slave felt compassion, and he released him and forgave him the debt.But that slave went out and found one of his fellow slaves who owed him a hundred denarii; and he seized him and began to choke him, saying,‘ Pay back what you owe!’So his fellow slave fell to the ground and began to plead with him, saying,‘ Have patience with me and I will repay you.’But he was unwilling, and went and threw him in prison until he would pay back what was owed.So when his fellow slaves saw what had happened, they were deeply grieved and came and reported to their master all that had happened.Then summoning him, his master* said to him,‘ You wicked slave, I forgave you all that debt because you pleaded with me.Should you not also have had mercy on your fellow slave, in the same way that I had mercy on you?’And his master, moved with anger, handed him over to the torturers until he would repay all that was owed him.My heavenly Father will also do the same to you, if each of you does not forgive his brother from your heart.”

Therefore, say to the house of Israel,‘ This is what the Lord God says:“ Will you defile yourselves in the way of your fathers and adulterously pursue their detestable things?

I was a father to the poor, And I investigated the case which I did not know.

So you are to keep your commitment to Me not to practice any of the abominable customs which have been practiced before you, so that you do not defile yourselves with them; I am the Lord your God.’ ”

Then you are to say to them,‘ It is because your forefathers have abandoned Me,’ declares the Lord,‘ and have followed other gods, and served and worshiped them; but they have abandoned Me and have not kept My Law.You too have done evil, even more than your forefathers; for behold, each one of you is following the stubbornness of his own evil heart, without listening to Me.So I will hurl you off this land to the land which you have not known, neither you nor your fathers; and there you will serve other gods day and night, because I will show you no compassion.’

The righteous is concerned for the rights of the poor; The wicked does not understand such concern.

He pled the cause of the afflicted and the poor, Then it was well. Is that not what it means to know Me?” Declares the Lord.

You are to perform My judgments and keep My statutes, to live in accord with them; I am the Lord your God.

When I say to the righteous that he will certainly live, and he so trusts in his righteousness that he commits injustice, none of his righteous deeds will be remembered; but for that same injustice of his which he has committed he will die.

“ Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you build the tombs for the prophets and decorate the monuments of the righteous,and you say,‘ If we had been living in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partners with them in shedding the blood of the prophets.’So you testify against yourselves, that you are sons of those who murdered the prophets.Fill up, then, the measure of the guilt of your fathers.You snakes, you offspring of vipers, how will you escape the sentence of hell?

Lord, my strength and my stronghold, And my refuge in the day of distress, To You the nations will come From the ends of the earth and say,“ Our fathers have inherited nothing but falsehood, Futility, and things of no benefit.”

Therefore, O king, may my advice be pleasing to you: wipe away your sin by doing righteousness, and your wrongdoings by showing mercy to the poor, in case there may be a prolonging of your prosperity.’

But as for you, you are to keep My statutes and My judgments, and you shall not do any of these abominations, neither the native, nor the stranger who resides among you

lends money at interest and takes interest; will he live? He will not live! He has committed all these abominations, he shall certainly be put to death; his blood will be on himself.

if a wicked person returns a pledge, pays back what he has taken by robbery, walks by the statutes which ensure life without committing injustice, he shall certainly live; he shall not die.None of his sins that he has committed will be remembered against him. He has practiced justice and righteousness; he shall certainly live.

One who oppresses the poor taunts his Maker, But one who is gracious to the needy honors Him.
