He lends at interest and takes a profit. Will such a man live? He will not! Because he has done all these detestable things, he is to be put to death; his blood will be on his own head.

He charges interest when he lends money to poor people. He makes money from them. Will a man like that live? He will not! He must be put to death. And what happens to him will be his own fault. He did many things I hate.

當我說某個惡人必滅亡時，如果你不告誡他，勸告他痛改前非，挽救他的性命，他必死在自己的罪中，而我要追究你的責任。

不放債取利，不犯罪作惡，反而公平待人，

「咒罵父母的，必被處死。他咒罵父母，必須承擔自己的罪。

「倘若有貧苦的同胞向你借錢，你不可像放債的一樣從中取利。

如果有人做靈媒或巫師，不論男女，都必須被處死。你們要用石頭打死他們，使他們承擔自己的罪。」

凡聽見號聲而不接受警告的，敵人來把他殺了，這流血的罪就要由他自己承擔。因為他聽見號聲，卻不接受警告，他的死是咎由自取。他若接受警告，就不至於死了。

不壓榨貧窮的人，不放債取利，反而遵守我的典章，順從我的律例，這人必不因父親的罪惡而死亡，他必活著。

如果有人與父親的妻妾同寢，就是羞辱他的父親。要把二人處死，他們要承擔自己的罪。如果有人與兒媳同寢，二人都必須被處死。他們亂倫，要承擔自己的罪。如果男人與男人同寢，好像男人與女人同寢一樣，他們的行為可憎，必須被處死。他們要承擔自己的罪。

主耶和華說，『我斷不喜歡任何人死亡，你們要悔改，以便存活。』」

可是，猶太人反對、毀謗保羅。保羅便抖掉衣服上的灰塵，對他們說：「你們的罪都歸在你們自己頭上，與我無關！從今以後，我要去外族人那裡了。」

因為他醒悟過來，痛改前非，必能活著，不致死亡。

義人若棄善行惡，與惡人同流合污，這人豈能活著？他從前的義行不會被記念，他必因自己的背信和罪惡而滅亡。
