say, Thus says the Lord God: A great eagle with great wings and long pinions, rich in plumage of many colors, came to Lebanon and took the top of the cedar.

说主耶和华如此说：有一大鹰，翅膀大，翎毛长，羽毛丰满，彩色俱备，来到黎巴嫩，将香柏树梢拧去，

说，主耶和华如此说：有一只大鹰，翅膀大，翎毛长，羽毛丰满，色彩缤纷；它飞到黎巴嫩，啄去香柏树梢，

说，主耶和华如此说：有一只大鹰，翅膀大，翎毛长，羽毛丰满，色彩缤纷；它飞到黎巴嫩，啄去香柏树梢，

告诉他们，主耶和华说，‘有一只大鹰翅膀宽大，羽毛丰满，色彩缤纷。这只鹰飞到黎巴嫩的香柏树上，折去树梢，

说：‘主耶和华这样说：有一只大鹰，翅膀大，翎毛长，羽毛丰富，彩色缤纷，来到黎巴嫩，把香柏树的树梢取去；

說主耶和華如此說：有一大鷹，翅膀大，翎毛長，羽毛豐滿，彩色俱備，來到黎巴嫩，將香柏樹梢擰去，

說，主耶和華如此說：有一隻大鷹，翅膀大，翎毛長，羽毛豐滿，色彩繽紛；牠飛到黎巴嫩，啄去香柏樹梢，

說，主耶和華如此說：有一隻大鷹，翅膀大，翎毛長，羽毛豐滿，色彩繽紛；牠飛到黎巴嫩，啄去香柏樹梢，

告訴他們，主耶和華說，『有一隻大鷹翅膀寬大，羽毛豐滿，色彩繽紛。這隻鷹飛到黎巴嫩的香柏樹上，折去樹梢，

說：‘主耶和華這樣說：有一隻大鷹，翅膀大，翎毛長，羽毛豐富，彩色繽紛，來到黎巴嫩，把香柏樹的樹梢取去；

說：主永恆主這麼說：有一隻鷹、翅膀大、翎翼長、羽毛豐滿、具有五彩色的、來到利巴嫩，將香柏樹的梢兒擰去；

主耶和華云、有一巨鷹、翼大、翎長、毛豐、文彩斑斕、至利巴嫩、取香柏之高枝、

當告之云、耶和華曰、巨鷹有翼、碩大無朋、毛羽豐健、文彩斑斕、集於利巴嫩、柏香木之高枝、為其所折、

告之曰、主天主如是云、有一巨鷹、翼大羽長、翎毛豐滿、采色俱備、至利巴嫩、在柏香木巔取柏香木之枝、

Say to them,‘ This is what the Sovereign Lord says: A great eagle with powerful wings, long feathers and full plumage of varied colors came to Lebanon. Taking hold of the top of a cedar,

Tell them,‘ The Lord and King says,“ A great eagle came to the city of‘ Lebanon.’ It had powerful wings and a lot of long feathers. The feathers were colorful and beautiful. The eagle landed in the top of a cedar tree.

Give them this message from the Sovereign Lord:“ A great eagle with broad wings and long feathers, covered with many colored plumage, came to Lebanon. He seized the top of a cedar tree

You are to say,‘ This is what the Lord GOD says: A huge eagle with powerful wings, long feathers, and full plumage of many colors came to Lebanon and took the top of the cedar.

saying,‘ This is what the Lord God says:“ A great eagle with great wings, long pinions, and a full plumage of many colors came to Lebanon and took away the top of the cedar.

and say,‘ Thus says the Lord GOD:“ A great eagle with large wings and long pinions, Full of feathers of various colors, Came to Lebanon And took from the cedar the highest branch.

and say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: A great eagle with great wings and long pinions, full of feathers, which had divers colors, came unto Lebanon, and took the top of the cedar:

You are to say: This is what the Lord God says: A great eagle with great wings, long pinions, and full plumage of many colors came to Lebanon and took the top of the cedar.

And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; A great eagle with great wings, longwinged, full of feathers, which had divers colours, came unto Lebanon, and took the highest branch of the cedar:

Say to them:‘ This is what the sovereign LORD says:“‘ A great eagle with broad wings, long feathers, with full plumage which was multi-hued, came to Lebanon and took the top of the cedar.

and say,‘ The Lord Yahweh says:“ A great eagle with great wings and long feathers, full of feathers, which had various colors, came to Lebanon, and took the top of the cedar.

For thus says the Lord:“ Behold, one shall fly swiftly like an eagle and spread his wings against Moab;

Set the trumpet to your lips! One like a vulture is over the house of the Lord, because they have transgressed my covenant and rebelled against my law.

it is you, O king, who have grown and become strong. Your greatness has grown and reaches to heaven, and your dominion to the ends of the earth.

“ And there was another great eagle with great wings and much plumage, and behold, this vine bent its roots toward him and shot forth its branches toward him from the bed where it was planted, that he might water it.

Jehoiachin was eighteen years old when he became king, and he reigned three months and ten days in Jerusalem. He did what was evil in the sight of the Lord.In the spring of the year King Nebuchadnezzar sent and brought him to Babylon, with the precious vessels of the house of the Lord, and made his brother Zedekiah king over Judah and Jerusalem.

“ Say now to the rebellious house, Do you not know what these things mean? Tell them, behold, the king of Babylon came to Jerusalem, and took her king and her princes and brought them to him to Babylon.And he took one of the royal offspring and made a covenant with him, putting him under oath( the chief men of the land he had taken away),that the kingdom might be humble and not lift itself up, and keep his covenant that it might stand.But he rebelled against him by sending his ambassadors to Egypt, that they might give him horses and a large army. Will he thrive? Can one escape who does such things? Can he break the covenant and yet escape?“ As I live, declares the Lord God, surely in the place where the king dwells who made him king, whose oath he despised, and whose covenant with him he broke, in Babylon he shall die.Pharaoh with his mighty army and great company will not help him in war, when mounds are cast up and siege walls built to cut off many lives.He despised the oath in breaking the covenant, and behold, he gave his hand and did all these things; he shall not escape.Therefore thus says the Lord God: As I live, surely it is my oath that he despised, and my covenant that he broke. I will return it upon his head.I will spread my net over him, and he shall be taken in my snare, and I will bring him to Babylon and enter into judgment with him there for the treachery he has committed against me.And all the pick of his troops shall fall by the sword, and the survivors shall be scattered to every wind, and you shall know that I am the Lord; I have spoken.”

Our pursuers were swifter than the eagles in the heavens; they chased us on the mountains; they lay in wait for us in the wilderness.

Behold, he comes up like clouds; his chariots like the whirlwind; his horses are swifter than eagles— woe to us, for we are ruined!

The horror you inspire has deceived you, and the pride of your heart, you who live in the clefts of the rock, who hold the height of the hill. Though you make your nest as high as the eagle’s, I will bring you down from there, declares the Lord.

and into whose hand he has given, wherever they dwell, the children of man, the beasts of the field, and the birds of the heavens, making you rule over them all— you are the head of gold.

At that time the servants of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up to Jerusalem, and the city was besieged.And Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came to the city while his servants were besieging it,and Jehoiachin the king of Judah gave himself up to the king of Babylon, himself and his mother and his servants and his officials and his palace officials. The king of Babylon took him prisoner in the eighth year of his reignand carried off all the treasures of the house of the Lord and the treasures of the king’s house, and cut in pieces all the vessels of gold in the temple of the Lord, which Solomon king of Israel had made, as the Lord had foretold.He carried away all Jerusalem and all the officials and all the mighty men of valor, 10,000 captives, and all the craftsmen and the smiths. None remained, except the poorest people of the land.And he carried away Jehoiachin to Babylon. The king’s mother, the king’s wives, his officials, and the chief men of the land he took into captivity from Jerusalem to Babylon.And the king of Babylon brought captive to Babylon all the men of valor, 7,000, and the craftsmen and the metal workers, 1,000, all of them strong and fit for war.

Wherever the corpse is, there the vultures will gather.

O inhabitant of Lebanon, nested among the cedars, how you will be pitied when pangs come upon you, pain as of a woman in labor!”“ As I live, declares the Lord, though Coniah the son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, were the signet ring on my right hand, yet I would tear you offand give you into the hand of those who seek your life, into the hand of those of whom you are afraid, even into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and into the hand of the Chaldeans.I will hurl you and the mother who bore you into another country, where you were not born, and there you shall die.But to the land to which they will long to return, there they shall not return.”Is this man Coniah a despised, broken pot, a vessel no one cares for? Why are he and his children hurled and cast into a land that they do not know?

The Lord will bring a nation against you from far away, from the end of the earth, swooping down like the eagle, a nation whose language you do not understand,

After Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon had taken into exile from Jerusalem Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, together with the officials of Judah, the craftsmen, and the metal workers, and had brought them to Babylon, the Lord showed me this vision: behold, two baskets of figs placed before the temple of the Lord.

The first was like a lion and had eagles’ wings. Then as I looked its wings were plucked off, and it was lifted up from the ground and made to stand on two feet like a man, and the mind of a man was given to it.
