I will spread my net for him, and he will be caught in my snare. I will bring him to Babylon and execute judgment on him there because he was unfaithful to me.

主耶和华这样说：我必用多国的群众，把我的网撒在你身上，他们必用我的网把你拉上来。

你还说：我是无辜的，他的怒气必已离开我。看哪！我要审判你，因为你曾说：我没有犯罪！

我必用瘟疫和血腥惩罚他；我必把暴雨、大冰雹、火和硫磺降在他和他的军队，以及与他在一起的许多民族身上。

但迦勒底人的军队追赶他们，在耶利哥的原野上追上了西底家，把他拿住，带到哈马地的利比拉去见巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒；尼布甲尼撒就宣判他的罪状。巴比伦王在利比拉，当着西底家眼前杀了他的众子；巴比伦王也杀了犹大所有的显贵，并且把西底家的眼睛弄瞎了，用铜链锁住他，把他带到巴比伦去。

看哪！狮子怎样从约旦河边的丛林走上来，攻击常绿的牧场，照样，我必在眨眼之间把巴比伦赶走，使它离开这地；谁蒙拣选，我就派谁治理这地。谁能和我相比呢？谁可以把我传来审讯呢？哪一个牧人能在我面前站立得住呢？”

那五个王逃跑了，躲藏在玛基大洞里。有人告诉约书亚，说：“那五个王已经找到了，都躲藏在玛基大洞里。”约书亚说：“你们把几块大石头辊到洞口那里去，并派人到洞口去看守他们。

因此耶和华领亚述王的将帅来攻打他们，用钩子钩着玛拿西，用铜链锁住他，把他带到巴比伦去。

押沙龙偶然遇上了大卫的臣仆。那时押沙龙骑着骡子，骡子从一棵大橡树茂密的树枝下经过，押沙龙的头发被橡树枝紧紧勾住，他就吊在空中，他所骑的骡子却跑开了。

要与你们的母亲争论，你们要争论，因为她不是我的妻子，我也不是她的丈夫；好让她除掉脸上的淫相，和乳间的淫态，

我若昂首自得，你便如狮子猎我（“如狮子猎我”或译：“猎我如猎狮子”），又在我身上彰显你惊人的大能。

但他们去的时候，我要把我的网撒在他们身上；我要把他们如同空中的飞鸟打下来。我要按着他们会众所听见的，惩罚他们。

因此，我要再跟你们争辩，也要跟你们的子孙争辩。”这是耶和华的宣告。

大山啊！你们要听耶和华的争辩。大地永久的根基啊！你们要听，因为耶和华与他的子民争辩，和以色列争论。

正如网罗临到全地的所有居民。

耶和华所膏立的，我们鼻孔的气息，在他们的陷坑中被捉住；我们论到他曾说：“我们要在他的荫庇之下，在列国中存活。”

他从高天降火，使火进入我的骨头里（按照《马索拉文本》，“他从高天降火，使火进入我的骨头里”作“他从高天降火进入我的骨头里，他管理火”；现参照《七十士译本》翻译）。他设置网罗绊我的脚，使我退去。他使我孤单凄凉，终日愁烦。

原来人并不知道自己的时机，正像鱼被恶网圈住，鸟被网罗捉住，险恶的时机忽然临到世人身上的时候，世人也照样陷在其中。
