领你们进入外族人的旷野，面对面地审判你们，就像我从前在埃及的旷野审判你们的祖先一样。这是主耶和华说的。

主耶和华说，我要差遣多国组成的大军，用我的网把你拉上来，

你们还说，‘我们是无辜的，耶和华不再向我们发怒。’看啊，我必审判你们，因为你们拒不认罪。

我要用瘟疫、杀戮、暴雨、冰雹、烈火和硫磺惩罚他们和他们的联军。

但迦勒底的军队追上来，在耶利哥的平原擒住西底迦，把他带到哈马的利比拉去见巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒，接受审判。巴比伦王在利比拉当着西底迦的面杀了他的众子和犹大所有的贵族，并且挖去他的双眼，把他用铜链锁着带到巴比伦。

“看啊，我必在瞬间把巴比伦人赶离家园，如约旦河边丛林中跳出的狮子赶散草场的羊群。我要派我拣选的人统治这地方。谁能与我相比？谁能与我较量？哪位首领能抵抗我？”

那五王逃进玛基大的山洞里，躲藏起来。有人告诉约书亚那五个王藏在玛基大的山洞里，约书亚便下令说：“滚几块大石头堵住洞口，派人看守。

所以，耶和华就差遣亚述王的将领来攻击他们，他们捉住玛拿西，用钩子钩着他，用铜链锁着他押往巴比伦。

押沙龙碰巧遇见大卫的部下。他骑着骡子逃走，骡子从一棵大橡树的茂密枝条下经过，押沙龙的头发被树枝缠住，整个人吊在半空中，胯下的骡子也跑了。

“你们去跟你们的母亲理论吧！因为她不再是我的妻子，我也不再是她的丈夫。叫她别再出卖色相，别再露出乳间的淫态。

我若昂首挺立，你会像狮子般追捕我，再次施展大能攻击我。

他们去的时候，我要张网网住他们，我要像打落飞鸟一样打落他们。我要按他们的恶行惩罚他们。

因此，我要指控你们和你们的后代。这是耶和华说的。

群山啊，大地永固的根基啊，你们要听耶和华的控告！因为耶和华要控告祂的子民，责备以色列人。

因为那日子将要这样临到世上每一个人。

耶和华膏立的王——我们的生命之气落入他们的陷阱。我们原希望借他的荫庇立足于列国中。

“祂从高天降下火来，焚烧我的骨头；祂在我脚前设下网罗，使我返回；祂使我凄凉孤寂，终日痛苦。

再者，人无法知道何时大难临头。祸患突然临到时，人根本无法摆脱，就像鱼落入险恶的网中，又像鸟儿陷入网罗。
