“‘ Therefore this is what the sovereign LORD says: As surely as I live, I will certainly repay him for despising my oath and breaking my covenant!

所以主耶和华如此说：“我指着我的永生起誓，他既轻看指我所起的誓，背弃指我所立的约，我必要使这罪归在他头上。

所以主耶和华如此说：我指着我的永生起誓，他既轻看我的誓言，背弃我的约，我必使这罪归到他头上。

所以主耶和华如此说：我指着我的永生起誓，他既轻看我的誓言，背弃我的约，我必使这罪归到他头上。

因此，主耶和华说，‘我凭我的永恒起誓，他既藐视与我所立的誓言，背弃与我所定的约，我必惩罚他。

因此主耶和华这样说：我指着我的永生起誓：他既然藐视我的誓言，背弃我的约，我必使这罪归到他的头上。

所以主耶和華如此說：「我指着我的永生起誓，他既輕看指我所起的誓，背棄指我所立的約，我必要使這罪歸在他頭上。

因此，主耶和華說，『我憑我的永恆起誓，他既藐視與我所立的誓言，背棄與我所定的約，我必懲罰他。

因此主耶和華這樣說：我指著我的永生起誓：他既然藐視我的誓言，背棄我的約，我必使這罪歸到他的頭上。

因此主永恆主這麼說：我指着永活的我來起誓，對他所藐視我發咒起誓的話、和他所違犯我立的約、我一定要將這罪還報在他頭上。

主耶和華曰、我指己生而誓、彼藐我誓、爽我約、我必以此罪歸於其首、

主耶和華又曰、彼藐視約言、而背我命、我指己而誓、必罰其罪、

主天主曰、我指己永生而誓、彼所輕之誓、即向我而發、所背之約、即與我而立、我必加報其身、身原文作首

“‘ Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: As surely as I live, I will repay him for despising my oath and breaking my covenant.

“‘ The Lord and King says,“ Zedekiah didn’t keep the promise he made in my name. He broke the treaty. So I will pay him back. And that is just as sure as I am alive.

Therefore thus says the Lord God: As I live, surely it is my oath that he despised, and my covenant that he broke. I will return it upon his head.

“ So this is what the Sovereign Lord says: As surely as I live, I will punish him for breaking my covenant and disregarding the solemn oath he made in my name.

“‘ Therefore, this is what the Lord GOD says: As I live, I will bring down on his head my oath that he despised and my covenant that he broke.

Therefore, this is what the Lord God says:“ As I live, My oath which he despised and My covenant which he broke, I will certainly inflict on his head.

Therefore thus says the Lord GOD:“ As I live, surely My oath which he despised, and My covenant which he broke, I will recompense on his own head.

Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: As I live, surely mine oath that he hath despised, and my covenant that he hath broken, I will even bring it upon his own head.

Therefore, this is what the Lord God says:“ As I live, I will bring down on his head My oath that he despised and My covenant that he broke.

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD;[ As] I live, surely mine oath that he hath despised, and my covenant that he hath broken, even it will I recompense upon his own head.

“ Therefore the Lord Yahweh says:‘ As I live, I will surely bring on his own head my oath that he has despised and my covenant that he has broken.

I will surely punish them for doing such things!” says the LORD.“ I will surely bring retribution on such a nation as this!”

You must not make use of the name of the LORD your God for worthless purposes, for the LORD will not exonerate anyone who abuses his name that way.

You steal. You murder. You commit adultery. You lie when you swear on oath. You sacrifice to the god Baal. You pay allegiance to other gods whom you have not previously known.Then you come and stand in my presence in this temple I have claimed as my own and say,“ We are safe!” You think you are so safe that you go on doing all those hateful sins!Do you think this temple I have claimed as my own is to be a hideout for robbers? You had better take note! I have seen for myself what you have done! says the LORD.So, go to the place in Shiloh where I allowed myself to be worshiped in the early days. See what I did to it because of the wicked things my people Israel did.You also have done all these things, says the LORD, and I have spoken to you over and over again. But you have not listened! You have refused to respond when I called you to repent!So I will destroy this temple which I have claimed as my own, this temple that you are trusting to protect you. I will destroy this place that I gave to you and your ancestors, just like I destroyed Shiloh.And I will drive you out of my sight just like I drove out your relatives, the people of Israel.’”

But those in Jerusalem will view it as a false omen. They have sworn solemn oaths, but the king of Babylon will accuse them of violations in order to seize them.“ Therefore this is what the sovereign LORD says:‘ Because you have brought up your own guilt by uncovering your transgressions and revealing your sins through all your actions, for this reason you will be taken by force.“‘ As for you, profane and wicked prince of Israel, whose day has come, the time of final punishment,this is what the sovereign LORD says: Tear off the turban, take off the crown! Things must change! Exalt the lowly, bring down the proud!A total ruin I will make it! It will come to an end when the one arrives to whom I have assigned judgment.’

These people make promises in the name of the LORD. But the fact is, what they swear to is really a lie.”
