“‘ I bathed you with water and washed the blood from you and put ointments on you.

Wash thyself therefore, and anoint thee, and put thy raiment upon thee, and get thee down to the floor:[ but] make not thyself known unto the man, until he shall have done eating and drinking.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

When the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning.

And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.

[ Which stood] only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed[ on them] until the time of reformation.But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption[ for us].For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us,[ is] God;

And[ as for] thy nativity, in the day thou wast born thy navel was not cut, neither wast thou washed in water to supple[ thee]; thou wast not salted at all, nor swaddled at all.

Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.

And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
