主耶和華曰、我過而見汝、若女及笄、我以裾覆爾、締結姻盟、于歸乎我。

主天主曰、我從爾旁經過以觀爾、見爾已長、可以于歸、遂以衣裾覆爾、遮爾赤體、向爾發誓、與爾結盟、俾爾歸於我、

“‘ Later I passed by, and when I looked at you and saw that you were old enough for love, I spread the corner of my garment over you and covered your naked body. I gave you my solemn oath and entered into a covenant with you, declares the Sovereign Lord, and you became mine.

“‘ “Later, I was passing by again. I looked at you. I saw that you were old enough for love. So I married you and took good care of you. I covered your naked body. I made a firm promise to you. I entered into a covenant with you. And you became mine,” announces the Lord and King.

“ When I passed by you again and saw you, behold, you were at the age for love, and I spread the corner of my garment over you and covered your nakedness; I made my vow to you and entered into a covenant with you, declares the Lord God, and you became mine.

And when I passed by again, I saw that you were old enough for love. So I wrapped my cloak around you to cover your nakedness and declared my marriage vows. I made a covenant with you, says the Sovereign Lord, and you became mine.

“‘ Then I passed by you and saw you, and you were indeed at the age for love. So I spread the edge of my garment over you and covered your nakedness. I pledged myself to you, entered into a covenant with you— this is the declaration of the Lord GOD— and you became mine.

“ Then I passed by you and saw you, and behold, you were at the time for love; so I spread My garment over you and covered your nakedness. I also swore an oath to you and entered into a covenant with you so that you became Mine,” declares the Lord God.

“ When I passed by you again and looked upon you, indeed your time was the time of love; so I spread My wing over you and covered your nakedness. Yes, I swore an oath to you and entered into a covenant with you, and you became Mine,” says the Lord God.

Now when I passed by thee, and looked upon thee, behold, thy time was the time of love; and I spread my skirt over thee, and covered thy nakedness: yea, I sware unto thee, and entered into a covenant with thee, saith the Lord Jehovah, and thou becamest mine.

“‘“ Now when I passed by you, and looked at you, behold, your time was the time of love; and I spread my skirt over you, and covered your nakedness. Yes, I swore to you, and entered into a covenant with you,” says the Lord Yahweh,“ and you became mine.

‘我向埃及人所行的事，你们都看见了，我如鹰将你们背在翅膀上，带你们来归我。如今你们若真的听从我的话，遵守我的约，就要在万民中作属我的子民，因为全地都是我的。你们要归我作祭司的国度，为神圣的国民。’这些话你要告诉以色列人。”摩西去召了百姓中的长老来，将耶和华吩咐他的话当面告诉他们。百姓都同声回答：“凡耶和华所说的，我们一定遵行。”摩西就将百姓的话回覆耶和华。

“因为你是属于耶和华—你上帝神圣的子民；耶和华—你的上帝从地面上的万民中拣选你，作自己宝贵的子民。耶和华专爱你们，拣选你们，并非因你们人数比任何民族多，其实你们的人数在各民族中是最少的。因为耶和华爱你们，又因要遵守他向你们列祖所起的誓，耶和华就用大能的手领你们出来，救赎你脱离为奴之家，脱离埃及王法老的手。

惟有基督在我们还作罪人的时候为我们死，上帝的爱就在此向我们显明了。

求你记念你的仆人亚伯拉罕、以撒、以色列。你曾向他们指着自己起誓说：‘我必使你们的后裔像天上的星那样多，并且我要将所应许的这全地赐给你们的后裔，让他们永远承受为业。’”

耶和华—你的上帝是有怜悯的上帝，他不撇下你，不灭绝你，也不忘记他起誓与你列祖所立的约。

“我从你旁边经过，见你在血中打滚，就对你说：‘你虽在血中，却要活下去！’我又说：‘你虽在血中，却要活下去！’

耶和华必因他大名的缘故不撇弃他的子民，因为耶和华喜悦你们作他的子民。

你要对他们说，主耶和华如此说：当日我拣选以色列，对雅各家的后裔起誓，在埃及地向他们显现，起誓说：我是耶和华—你们的上帝；那日我向他们起誓，要领他们出埃及地，到我为他们所找到的流奶与蜜之地，就是全地中最美好之地。

耶和华对摩西说：“你和亚伦、拿答、亚比户，以及以色列长老中的七十人，都要上到耶和华这里来，远远地下拜。只有摩西可以接近耶和华，其他的人却不可接近；百姓也不可和他一同上来。”摩西下山，向百姓陈述耶和华一切的命令和典章。众百姓齐声说：“耶和华所吩咐的一切，我们都必遵行。”摩西将耶和华一切的命令都写下来。他清早起来，在山脚筑了一座坛，按着以色列十二支派立了十二根石柱。他差派以色列的年轻人去献燔祭，又宰牛献给耶和华为平安祭。摩西将血的一半盛在盆中，另一半洒在坛上。然后，他拿起约书来，念给百姓听。他们说：“耶和华所吩咐的一切，我们都必遵行，也必听从。”摩西把血洒在百姓身上，说：“看哪！这是立约的血，是耶和华按照这一切的命令和你们立约的凭据。”

以色列年幼的时候，我爱他，就从埃及召我的儿子出来。

惟你以色列，我的仆人，雅各，我所拣选的，我朋友亚伯拉罕的后裔，你是我从地极领来，从地角召来的，我对你说：“你是我的仆人；我拣选你，并不弃绝你。”

我要照耶和华一切所赐给我们的，并他凭怜悯与丰盛的慈爱所赐给以色列家的大恩，述说他的慈爱和美德。他说：“他们诚然是我的百姓，未行虚假的子民。”这样，他就作了他们的救主。他们在一切苦难当中，他也同受苦难，并且他面前的使者拯救他们。他以慈爱和怜悯救赎他们，在古时的日子时常抱他们，背他们。

当那日，我必为我的百姓，与野地的走兽、天空的飞鸟和地上爬行的动物立约；又要在国中折断弓和刀，止息战争，使他们安然躺卧。我必聘你永远归我为妻，以公义、公平、慈爱、怜悯聘你归我；也以信实聘你归我，你就必认识耶和华。

耶和华从远方向我显现：“我以永远的爱爱你，因此，我以慈爱吸引你。”

这约不像我拉着他们祖宗的手，领他们出埃及地的时候与他们所立的约。我虽作他们的丈夫，他们却背了我的约。这是耶和华说的。

不但如此，利百加也是这样。她从一个人，就是从我们的祖宗以撒怀了孕。双胞胎还没有生下来，善恶还没有行出来，为要贯彻上帝拣选人的旨意，不是凭着人的行为，而是凭着那呼召人的，上帝就对利百加说：“将来，大的要服侍小的。”正如经上所记：“雅各是我所爱的；以扫是我所恶的。”

耶和华说：“我曾爱你们。”你们却说：“你在何事上爱我们呢？”耶和华说：“以扫不是雅各的哥哥吗？我却爱雅各，
