but God, being rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ( by grace have ye been saved),

And God heard their groaning, and God remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob.And God saw the children of Israel, and God took knowledge of them.

But thou art cast forth away from thy sepulchre like an abominable branch, clothed with the slain, that are thrust through with the sword, that go down to the stones of the pit; as a dead body trodden under foot.

Then mine enemy shall see it, and shame shall cover her who said unto me, Where is Jehovah thy God? Mine eyes shall see my desire upon her; now shall she be trodden down as the mire of the streets.

And confirmed the same unto Jacob for a statute, To Israel for an everlasting covenant,Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, The lot of your inheritance;When they were but a few men in number, Yea, very few, and sojourners in it.And they went about from nation to nation, From one kingdom to another people.He suffered no man to do them wrong; Yea, he reproved kings for their sakes,Saying, Touch not mine anointed ones, And do my prophets no harm.

Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles’ wings, and brought you unto myself.Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be mine own possession from among all peoples: for all the earth is mine:and ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and a holy nation. And the winepress was trodden without the city, and there came out blood from the winepress, even unto the bridles of the horses, as far as a thousand and six hundred furlongs.

Then I said I would pour out my wrath upon them, to accomplish my anger against them in the midst of the land of Egypt.But I wrought for my name’s sake, that it should not be profaned in the sight of the nations, among which they were, in whose sight I made myself known unto them, in bringing them forth out of the land of Egypt.So I caused them to go forth out of the land of Egypt, and brought them into the wilderness.

of how much sorer punishment, think ye, shall he be judged worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant wherewith he was sanctified an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

I have surely seen the affliction of my people that is in Egypt, and have heard their groaning, and I am come down to deliver them: and now come, I will send thee into Egypt.

He sent Moses his servant, And Aaron whom he had chosen.They set among them his signs, And wonders in the land of Ham.He sent darkness, and made it dark; And they rebelled not against his words.He turned their waters into blood, And slew their fish.Their land swarmed with frogs In the chambers of their kings.He spake, and there came swarms of flies, And lice in all their borders.He gave them hail for rain, And flaming fire in their land.He smote their vines also and their fig- trees, And brake the trees of their borders.He spake, and the locust came, And the grasshopper, and that without number,And did eat up every herb in their land, And did eat up the fruit of their ground.He smote also all the first- born in their land, The chief of all their strength.And he brought them forth with silver and gold; And there was not one feeble person among his tribes.

Speak not thou in thy heart, after that Jehovah thy God hath thrust them out from before thee, saying, For my righteousness Jehovah hath brought me in to possess this land; whereas for the wickedness of these nations Jehovah doth drive them out from before thee.
