For thus says the Lord GOD:“ I will deal with you as you have done, who despised the oath by breaking the covenant.

“主耶和华如此说：你这轻看誓言、背弃盟约的，我必照你所行的待你。

“主耶和华如此说：你这轻看誓言而背约的，我必照你所做的报应你。

“主耶和华如此说：你这轻看誓言而背约的，我必照你所做的报应你。

“‘主耶和华说，你背誓毁约，我必照你的所作所为报应你。

主耶和华这样说：你这藐视誓言、背弃盟约的，我必照着你所行的报应你。

「主耶和華如此說：你這輕看誓言、背棄盟約的，我必照你所行的待你。

「主耶和華如此說：你這輕看誓言而背約的，我必照你所做的報應你。

「主耶和華如此說：你這輕看誓言而背約的，我必照你所做的報應你。

「『主耶和華說，你背誓毀約，我必照你的所作所為報應你。

主耶和華這樣說：你這藐視誓言、背棄盟約的，我必照著你所行的報應你。

主永恆主這麼說：你這藐視所起的誓、違犯了盟約的、我必照你所行的辦你；

主耶和華曰、爾藐誓爽約、我必依爾所行以報爾、

主耶和華又曰、爾爽盟約、予必因爾所行以報之。

主天主如是云、爾輕視誓言、背棄盟約、我必循爾所行以待爾、

“‘ This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I will deal with you as you deserve, because you have despised my oath by breaking the covenant.

The Lord and King says,“ I will punish you in keeping with what you have done. I sealed with a promise the covenant I made with you. You hated that promise. And you broke my covenant.

“ For thus says the Lord God: I will deal with you as you have done, you who have despised the oath in breaking the covenant,

“ Now this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I will give you what you deserve, for you have taken your solemn vows lightly by breaking your covenant.

“‘ For this is what the Lord GOD says: I will deal with you according to what you have done, since you have despised the oath by breaking the covenant.

For this is what the Lord God says:“ I will also do with you as you have done, you who have despised the oath by breaking the covenant.

For thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I will also deal with thee as thou hast done, who hast despised the oath in breaking the covenant.

“ For this is what the Lord God says: I will deal with you according to what you have done, since you have despised the oath by breaking the covenant.

For thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even deal with thee as thou hast done, which hast despised the oath in breaking the covenant.

“‘ For this is what the sovereign LORD says: I will deal with you according to what you have done when you despised your oath by breaking your covenant.

“‘ For the Lord Yahweh says:“ I will also deal with you as you have done, who have despised the oath in breaking the covenant.

The earth is also defiled under its inhabitants, Because they have transgressed the laws, Changed the ordinance, Broken the everlasting covenant.

Therefore thus says the Lord GOD:“ As I live, surely My oath which he despised, and My covenant which he broke, I will recompense on his own head.

Now He said to Moses,“ Come up to the Lord, you and Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel, and worship from afar.And Moses alone shall come near the Lord, but they shall not come near; nor shall the people go up with him.”So Moses came and told the people all the words of the Lord and all the judgments. And all the people answered with one voice and said,“ All the words which the Lord has said we will do.”And Moses wrote all the words of the Lord. And he rose early in the morning, and built an altar at the foot of the mountain, and twelve pillars according to the twelve tribes of Israel.Then he sent young men of the children of Israel, who offered burnt offerings and sacrificed peace offerings of oxen to the Lord.And Moses took half the blood and put it in basins, and half the blood he sprinkled on the altar.Then he took the Book of the Covenant and read in the hearing of the people. And they said,“ All that the Lord has said we will do, and be obedient.”And Moses took the blood, sprinkled it on the people, and said,“ This is the blood of the covenant which the Lord has made with you according to all these words.”

And he took the king’s offspring, made a covenant with him, and put him under oath. He also took away the mighty of the land,that the kingdom might be brought low and not lift itself up, but that by keeping his covenant it might stand.But he rebelled against him by sending his ambassadors to Egypt, that they might give him horses and many people. Will he prosper? Will he who does such things escape? Can he break a covenant and still be delivered?‘ As I live,’ says the Lord God,‘ surely in the place where the king dwells who made him king, whose oath he despised and whose covenant he broke— with him in the midst of Babylon he shall die.

but to those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness— indignation and wrath,tribulation and anguish, on every soul of man who does evil, of the Jew first and also of the Greek;

Woe to the wicked! It shall be ill with him, For the reward of his hands shall be given him.

My eye will not spare you, Nor will I have pity; But I will repay your ways, And your abominations will be in your midst; Then you shall know that I am the Lord!’

Then they will answer,‘ Because they have forsaken the covenant of the Lord their God, and worshiped other gods and served them.’”

Now upon you I will soon pour out My fury, And spend My anger upon you; I will judge you according to your ways, And I will repay you for all your abominations.‘ My eye will not spare, Nor will I have pity; I will repay you according to your ways, And your abominations will be in your midst. Then you shall know that I am the Lord who strikes.

Your own wickedness will correct you, And your backslidings will rebuke you. Know therefore and see that it is an evil and bitter thing That you have forsaken the Lord your God, And the fear of Me is not in you,” Says the Lord GOD of hosts.

“ Judge not, that you be not judged.For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you.

“ Therefore speak to them, and say to them,‘ Thus says the Lord God:“ Everyone of the house of Israel who sets up his idols in his heart, and puts before him what causes him to stumble into iniquity, and then comes to the prophet, I the Lord will answer him who comes, according to the multitude of his idols,

not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, though I was a husband to them, says the Lord.

Then the king stood in his place and made a covenant before the Lord, to follow the Lord, and to keep His commandments and His testimonies and His statutes with all his heart and all his soul, to perform the words of the covenant that were written in this book.And he made all who were present in Jerusalem and Benjamin take a stand. So the inhabitants of Jerusalem did according to the covenant of God, the God of their fathers.

“ All of you stand today before the Lord your God: your leaders and your tribes and your elders and your officers, all the men of Israel,your little ones and your wives— also the stranger who is in your camp, from the one who cuts your wood to the one who draws your water—that you may enter into covenant with the Lord your God, and into His oath, which the Lord your God makes with you today,that He may establish you today as a people for Himself, and that He may be God to you, just as He has spoken to you, and just as He has sworn to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.“ I make this covenant and this oath, not with you alone,but with him who stands here with us today before the Lord our God, as well as with him who is not here with us today

Then people would say:‘ Because they have forsaken the covenant of the Lord God of their fathers, which He made with them when He brought them out of the land of Egypt;
