“ For thus says the Lord God: I will deal with you as you have done, you who have despised the oath in breaking the covenant,

“主耶和华如此说：你这轻看誓言、背弃盟约的，我必照你所行的待你。

“主耶和华如此说：你这轻看誓言而背约的，我必照你所做的报应你。

“主耶和华如此说：你这轻看誓言而背约的，我必照你所做的报应你。

“‘主耶和华说，你背誓毁约，我必照你的所作所为报应你。

主耶和华这样说：你这藐视誓言、背弃盟约的，我必照着你所行的报应你。

「主耶和華如此說：你這輕看誓言、背棄盟約的，我必照你所行的待你。

「主耶和華如此說：你這輕看誓言而背約的，我必照你所做的報應你。

「主耶和華如此說：你這輕看誓言而背約的，我必照你所做的報應你。

「『主耶和華說，你背誓毀約，我必照你的所作所為報應你。

主耶和華這樣說：你這藐視誓言、背棄盟約的，我必照著你所行的報應你。

主永恆主這麼說：你這藐視所起的誓、違犯了盟約的、我必照你所行的辦你；

主耶和華曰、爾藐誓爽約、我必依爾所行以報爾、

主耶和華又曰、爾爽盟約、予必因爾所行以報之。

主天主如是云、爾輕視誓言、背棄盟約、我必循爾所行以待爾、

“‘ This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I will deal with you as you deserve, because you have despised my oath by breaking the covenant.

The Lord and King says,“ I will punish you in keeping with what you have done. I sealed with a promise the covenant I made with you. You hated that promise. And you broke my covenant.

“ Now this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I will give you what you deserve, for you have taken your solemn vows lightly by breaking your covenant.

“‘ For this is what the Lord GOD says: I will deal with you according to what you have done, since you have despised the oath by breaking the covenant.

For this is what the Lord God says:“ I will also do with you as you have done, you who have despised the oath by breaking the covenant.

For thus says the Lord GOD:“ I will deal with you as you have done, who despised the oath by breaking the covenant.

For thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I will also deal with thee as thou hast done, who hast despised the oath in breaking the covenant.

“ For this is what the Lord God says: I will deal with you according to what you have done, since you have despised the oath by breaking the covenant.

For thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even deal with thee as thou hast done, which hast despised the oath in breaking the covenant.

“‘ For this is what the sovereign LORD says: I will deal with you according to what you have done when you despised your oath by breaking your covenant.

“‘ For the Lord Yahweh says:“ I will also deal with you as you have done, who have despised the oath in breaking the covenant.

The earth lies defiled under its inhabitants; for they have transgressed the laws, violated the statutes, broken the everlasting covenant.

Therefore thus says the Lord God: As I live, surely it is my oath that he despised, and my covenant that he broke. I will return it upon his head.

Then he said to Moses,“ Come up to the Lord, you and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel, and worship from afar.Moses alone shall come near to the Lord, but the others shall not come near, and the people shall not come up with him.”Moses came and told the people all the words of the Lord and all the rules. And all the people answered with one voice and said,“ All the words that the Lord has spoken we will do.”And Moses wrote down all the words of the Lord. He rose early in the morning and built an altar at the foot of the mountain, and twelve pillars, according to the twelve tribes of Israel.And he sent young men of the people of Israel, who offered burnt offerings and sacrificed peace offerings of oxen to the Lord.And Moses took half of the blood and put it in basins, and half of the blood he threw against the altar.Then he took the Book of the Covenant and read it in the hearing of the people. And they said,“ All that the Lord has spoken we will do, and we will be obedient.”And Moses took the blood and threw it on the people and said,“ Behold the blood of the covenant that the Lord has made with you in accordance with all these words.”

And he took one of the royal offspring and made a covenant with him, putting him under oath( the chief men of the land he had taken away),that the kingdom might be humble and not lift itself up, and keep his covenant that it might stand.But he rebelled against him by sending his ambassadors to Egypt, that they might give him horses and a large army. Will he thrive? Can one escape who does such things? Can he break the covenant and yet escape?“ As I live, declares the Lord God, surely in the place where the king dwells who made him king, whose oath he despised, and whose covenant with him he broke, in Babylon he shall die.

but for those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, there will be wrath and fury.There will be tribulation and distress for every human being who does evil, the Jew first and also the Greek,

Woe to the wicked! It shall be ill with him, for what his hands have dealt out shall be done to him.

And my eye will not spare you, nor will I have pity, but I will punish you for your ways, while your abominations are in your midst. Then you will know that I am the Lord.

And they will answer,“ Because they have forsaken the covenant of the Lord their God and worshiped other gods and served them.”’”

Now I will soon pour out my wrath upon you, and spend my anger against you, and judge you according to your ways, and I will punish you for all your abominations.And my eye will not spare, nor will I have pity. I will punish you according to your ways, while your abominations are in your midst. Then you will know that I am the Lord, who strikes.

Your evil will chastise you, and your apostasy will reprove you. Know and see that it is evil and bitter for you to forsake the Lord your God; the fear of me is not in you, declares the Lord God of hosts.

“ Judge not, that you be not judged.For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you.

Therefore speak to them and say to them, Thus says the Lord God: Any one of the house of Israel who takes his idols into his heart and sets the stumbling block of his iniquity before his face, and yet comes to the prophet, I the Lord will answer him as he comes with the multitude of his idols,

not like the covenant that I made with their fathers on the day when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, my covenant that they broke, though I was their husband, declares the Lord.

And the king stood in his place and made a covenant before the Lord, to walk after the Lord and to keep his commandments and his testimonies and his statutes, with all his heart and all his soul, to perform the words of the covenant that were written in this book.Then he made all who were present in Jerusalem and in Benjamin join in it. And the inhabitants of Jerusalem did according to the covenant of God, the God of their fathers.

“ You are standing today, all of you, before the Lord your God: the heads of your tribes, your elders, and your officers, all the men of Israel,your little ones, your wives, and the sojourner who is in your camp, from the one who chops your wood to the one who draws your water,so that you may enter into the sworn covenant of the Lord your God, which the Lord your God is making with you today,that he may establish you today as his people, and that he may be your God, as he promised you, and as he swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.It is not with you alone that I am making this sworn covenant,but with whoever is standing here with us today before the Lord our God, and with whoever is not here with us today.

Then people will say,‘ It is because they abandoned the covenant of the Lord, the God of their fathers, which he made with them when he brought them out of the land of Egypt,
