當爾驕泰之日、口不道爾妹所多瑪、

昔爾強盛之日、爾惡未彰、亞蘭人、及非利士人、暨四方眾女、猶未督責爾、凌辱爾、斯時也、爾視爾姊所多馬以為不足挂齒、

爾驕傲之日、口未提爾妹所多瑪以為警、

You would not even mention your sister Sodom in the day of your pride,

In the past you would not even mention your sister Sodom. You were proud at that time.

Was not your sister Sodom a byword in your mouth in the day of your pride,

In your proud days you held Sodom in contempt.

Didn’t you treat your sister Sodom as an object of scorn when you were proud,

As the name of your sister Sodom was not heard from your lips in your day of pride,

“ But he was angry and would not go in. In that day you shall not be shamed for any of your deeds In which you transgress against Me; For then I will take away from your midst Those who rejoice in your pride, And you shall no longer be haughty In My holy mountain.
