這樣我向你發的烈怒就可以平息，我的妒忿也可以離開你；我可以安靜，不再惱怒了。

这样，我就止息向你发的忿怒，我的忌恨也要离开你，我要安静不再恼怒。

我止息了向你所发的愤怒，我的妒忌也离开了你；这样，我就平静，不再恼怒。

这样，我的烈怒才会平息，我的义愤才会消除，我才会平静下来，不再发怒。

如是、我怒乃息、我嫉離爾、我則寧靖、不復憤怒、

如此我怒將息、不復憤烈。

我如此待爾、我怒始息、不復因爾忿烈不復因爾忿烈或作不復因爾生嫉恨之心我心平和、不復瞋忿、

Then my wrath against you will subside and my jealous anger will turn away from you; I will be calm and no longer angry.

Then my great anger against you will die down. My jealous anger will turn away from you. I will be calm. I will not be angry anymore.

So will I satisfy my wrath on you, and my jealousy shall depart from you. I will be calm and will no more be angry.

“ Then at last my fury against you will be spent, and my jealous anger will subside. I will be calm and will not be angry with you anymore.

So I will satisfy my wrath against you, and my jealousy will turn away from you. Then I will be calm and no longer angry.

So I will satisfy My fury against you and My jealousy will leave you, and I will be pacified and no longer be angry.

So I will lay to rest My fury toward you, and My jealousy shall depart from you. I will be quiet, and be angry no more.

So will I cause my wrath toward thee to rest, and my jealousy shall depart from thee, and I will be quiet, and will be no more angry.

So I will satisfy My wrath against you, and My jealousy will turn away from you. Then I will be silent and no longer angry.

So will I make my fury toward thee to rest, and my jealousy shall depart from thee, and I will be quiet, and will be no more angry.

I will exhaust my rage on you, and then my fury will turn from you. I will calm down and no longer be angry.

So I will cause my wrath toward you to rest, and my jealousy will depart from you. I will be quiet, and will not be angry any more.

“這樣我的怒氣才可以發盡，我向他們所發的烈怒才可以平息，自己才得到舒暢。我向他們所發的烈怒完全發盡的時候，他們就知道我耶和華說過的話是出於嫉恨的心。

我也不再掩面不顧他們，因為我已經把我的靈澆灌在以色列家。這是主耶和華的宣告。”

你們的神說：“你們要安慰，要安慰我的子民！你們要向耶路撒冷說慈愛的話，又要向它宣告：他們的苦難已經滿足了，他們的罪孽已經還清了，他們因著自己的一切罪，已經從耶和華的手裡受到過重的刑罰。”

他又呼喚我，對我說：“你看，那些出來往北方之地去的，已經在北方之地使我心靈的忿怒平息下來。”

這事對我就好像挪亞時代的洪水一般；我怎樣起誓不再使挪亞時代的洪水漫過大地，我也照樣起誓不向你發怒，也不斥責你。雖然大山可以挪開，小山可以遷移，但我的慈愛必不從你身上挪開，我和平的約也必不遷移；這是憐憫你的耶和華說的。

我也要拍手，並且要使我的烈怒止息；這是我耶和華說的。”

因此，主萬軍之耶和華，以色列的大能者說：“哎！我要向我的對頭雪恨，向我的仇敵報復。

他們把掃羅和他兒子約拿單的骸骨埋葬在便雅憫地的洗拉，在掃羅父親基士的墳墓裡。王所吩咐的一切，眾人都行了。這事以後，神垂聽了人們為那地的禱告。
