我必罰爾、與背夫之婦、殺子之母同科、我怒甚烈、使爾飲刃、

我必罰爾、如罰行淫之婦、及殺人之婦、我必使爾如淫婦為夫所殺、其怒甚烈、雪其忿心、

I will sentence you to the punishment of women who commit adultery and who shed blood; I will bring on you the blood vengeance of my wrath and jealous anger.

I will hand down my sentence against you. You will be punished like women who commit adultery and sacrifice their children to other gods. I am so angry with you. So I will sentence you to death for everything you have done.

And I will judge you as women who commit adultery and shed blood are judged, and bring upon you the blood of wrath and jealousy.

I will punish you for your murder and adultery. I will cover you with blood in my jealous fury.

I will judge you the way adulteresses and those who shed blood are judged. Then I will bring about the shedding of your blood in jealous wrath.

“ Whoever sheds man’s blood, By man his blood shall be shed; For in the image of God He made man.

Therefore deliver up their children to the famine, And pour out their blood By the force of the sword; Let their wives become widows And bereaved of their children. Let their men be put to death, Their young men be slain By the sword in battle.

Then Judah said to Tamar his daughter-in-law,“ Remain a widow in your father’s house till my son Shelah is grown.” For he said,“ Lest he also die like his brothers.” And Tamar went and dwelt in her father’s house.

And it came to pass, about three months after, that Judah was told, saying,“ Tamar your daughter-in-law has played the harlot; furthermore she is with child by harlotry.” So Judah said,“ Bring her out and let her be burned!”

Now the birth of Jesus Christ was as follows: After His mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Spirit.Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not wanting to make her a public example, was minded to put her away secretly.

“ He who strikes a man so that he dies shall surely be put to death.

But righteous men will judge them after the manner of adulteresses, and after the manner of women who shed blood, because they are adulteresses, and blood is on their hands.“ For thus says the Lord GOD:‘ Bring up an assembly against them, give them up to trouble and plunder.The assembly shall stone them with stones and execute them with their swords; they shall slay their sons and their daughters, and burn their houses with fire.

Moreover you shall take no ransom for the life of a murderer who is guilty of death, but he shall surely be put to death.

“ They shall also bring up an assembly against you, and they shall stone you with stones and thrust you through with their swords.

“ Moreover you took your sons and your daughters, whom you bore to Me, and these you sacrificed to them to be devoured. Were your acts of harlotry a small matter,that you have slain My children and offered them up to them by causing them to pass through the fire?

I will set My jealousy against you, And they shall deal furiously with you; They shall remove your nose and your ears, And your remnant shall fall by the sword; They shall take your sons and your daughters, And your remnant shall be devoured by fire.

For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, And You have given them blood to drink. For it is their just due.”

God is jealous, and the Lord avenges; The Lord avenges and is furious. The Lord will take vengeance on His adversaries, And He reserves wrath for His enemies;

Thus says the Lord GOD:“ Because your filthiness was poured out and your nakedness uncovered in your harlotry with your lovers, and with all your abominable idols, and because of the blood of your children which you gave to them,

Their blood they have shed like water all around Jerusalem, And there was no one to bury them.We have become a reproach to our neighbors, A scorn and derision to those who are around us.How long, Lord? Will You be angry forever? Will Your jealousy burn like fire?

“ If a man is found lying with a woman married to a husband, then both of them shall die— the man that lay with the woman, and the woman; so you shall put away the evil from Israel.“ If a young woman who is a virgin is betrothed to a husband, and a man finds her in the city and lies with her,then you shall bring them both out to the gate of that city, and you shall stone them to death with stones, the young woman because she did not cry out in the city, and the man because he humbled his neighbor’s wife; so you shall put away the evil from among you.

Then the scribes and Pharisees brought to Him a woman caught in adultery. And when they had set her in the midst,they said to Him,“ Teacher, this woman was caught in adultery, in the very act.Now Moses, in the law, commanded us that such should be stoned. But what do You say?”
