This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Because you poured out your lust and exposed your naked body in your promiscuity with your lovers, and because of all your detestable idols, and because you gave them your children’s blood,

The Lord and King says,“ You poured out your desire on your lovers. You took off your clothing and slept with them. You did it again and again. You worshiped other gods. I hate them. You even sacrificed your children to them.

Thus says the Lord God, Because your lust was poured out and your nakedness uncovered in your whorings with your lovers, and with all your abominable idols, and because of the blood of your children that you gave to them,

This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Because you have poured out your lust and exposed yourself in prostitution to all your lovers, and because you have worshiped detestable idols, and because you have slaughtered your children as sacrifices to your gods,

This is what the Lord GOD says: Because your lust was poured out and your nakedness exposed by your acts of prostitution with your lovers, and because of all your detestable idols and the blood of your children that you gave to them,

This is what the Lord God says:“ Because your lewdness was poured out and your nakedness uncovered through your obscene practices with your lovers and with all your detestable idols, and because of the blood of your sons that you gave to idols,

Thus says the Lord GOD:“ Because your filthiness was poured out and your nakedness uncovered in your harlotry with your lovers, and with all your abominable idols, and because of the blood of your children which you gave to them,

Thus saith the Lord Jehovah, Because thy filthiness was poured out, and thy nakedness uncovered through thy whoredoms with thy lovers; and because of all the idols of thy abominations, and for the blood of thy children, that thou didst give unto them;

我勸你向我買精煉的金子，使你富足；又買白衣穿上，使你赤身的羞恥不會顯露出來；也買眼藥膏抹你的眼睛，使你可以看見。

你的污穢就是淫蕩。我想要潔淨你，你卻不願意潔淨，所以你的污穢再不能得到潔淨，直等到我向你發的烈怒止息。

我要把你分散在列國，四散在萬邦；我要從你中間消除你的污穢。

他們必以憎恨待你，奪去你一切勞碌得來的，留下你赤身露體；你行淫的下體、你的淫蕩和淫亂，都必顯露出來。

他回答：“我在園中聽見你的聲音，就害怕；因為我赤身露體，就藏了起來。”耶和華神說：“誰告訴你，你是赤身露體呢？難道你吃了我吩咐你不可吃的那樹上的果子嗎？”

如果你心裡問：“這些事為甚麼發生在我身上呢？”這是由於你極大的罪孽；你的袍子被掀起，你的下體（“下體”原文作“腳跟”）暴露出來。古實人怎能改變他的膚色？花豹怎能改變牠的斑點？你們這些慣作壞事的人，又怎能行善呢？“因此，我要使你們（“你們”原文作“他們”）四散，像被曠野的風吹走的碎稭一樣。這是你應得的，是我量給你的分。”這是耶和華的宣告。“因為你忘記了我，去倚靠虛假的偶像；所以，我必把你的袍子掀到你的臉上，使人看見你的醜態。

她的污穢沾滿了衣裙；她從不思想自己的結局。所以她令人驚異地敗落了；沒有人安慰她。她說：“耶和華啊！求你看看我的苦難，因為仇敵顯為大。”

如果我說：“願黑暗遮蓋我，願我周圍的亮光變成黑夜。”但對你來說，黑暗也不算是黑暗，黑夜必如同白晝一樣發亮，黑暗和光明，在你看來都是一樣的。

這叛逆、污穢、欺壓人的城有禍了！

二人的眼睛就開了，才知道自己是赤身露體的。於是把無花果樹的葉子編縫起來，為自己做裙子。

我必用潔淨的水灑在你們身上，你們就潔淨了；我必潔淨你們的一切污穢，使你們遠離所有可憎的像。

“‘可是你倚仗你的美麗，又憑著你的名聲去行淫；你向每一個過路的人縱情淫亂（《馬索拉文本》在本節最後有“而那便成了屬他的”；現參照《七十士譯本》和其他古譯本的較短讀文翻譯）。你拿了你的一些衣服，為自己建造色彩繽紛的邱壇，又在那裡行淫。這樣的事不應發生，將來也不會再出現。你又拿了我送給你那些美麗的金器銀器，為自己鑄造男人的像，與那些像行淫。你又拿你的刺繡衣服，蓋在它們身上，並且把我的油和香料都擺在它們面前。你把我賜給你的食物，就是我給你吃的細麵、油和蜂蜜，都擺在它們面前作馨香的祭物。這是主耶和華的宣告。你更把你的兒女，就是你給我所生的兒女，獻給它們作食物；你所行的淫亂還算是小事嗎？你竟宰殺了我的兒女，使他們經火，獻給它們。你行這一切可憎和淫亂的事，並沒有想過你年幼的日子，那時你赤身露體，在血中掙扎。

在你衣襟上又發現無辜窮人的血，並且你不是發現他們在挖窟窿時殺他們的。雖然這樣，
