How weak is thy heart, saith the Lord Jehovah, seeing thou doest all these things, the work of an impudent harlot;

“主耶和华说：你行这一切事，都是不知羞耻妓女所行的，可见你的心是何等懦弱！

“你的心何等脆弱！这是主耶和华说的。你做这一切事，都是不知羞耻的妓女所做的，

“你的心何等脆弱！这是主耶和华说的。你做这一切事，都是不知羞耻的妓女所做的，

“‘主耶和华说，你的心败坏至极，简直就像不知羞耻的娼妓，

“‘你行的这一切事，简直是任性无耻的妓女所为，可见你的意志是多么的薄弱。这是耶和华的宣告。

「主耶和華說：你行這一切事，都是不知羞恥妓女所行的，可見你的心是何等懦弱！

「你的心何等脆弱！這是主耶和華說的。你做這一切事，都是不知羞恥的妓女所做的，

「你的心何等脆弱！這是主耶和華說的。你做這一切事，都是不知羞恥的妓女所做的，

「『主耶和華說，你的心敗壞至極，簡直就像不知羞恥的娼妓，

“‘你行的這一切事，簡直是任性無恥的妓女所為，可見你的意志是多麼的薄弱。這是耶和華的宣告。

『主永恆主發神諭說：你的心怎樣地鬧相思病啊，你行這一切、一個任性淫婦的所作所為啊！

主耶和華曰、爾行此事、乃無恥之淫婦所為、爾心何其荏弱哉、

主耶和華曰、爾行此事、有若淫婦、既無羞惡之心、又精神之頓耗。

主天主曰、爾行此諸事、俱無羞恥之淫婦所行、爾心何其敗哉、

“‘ I am filled with fury against you, declares the Sovereign Lord, when you do all these things, acting like a brazen prostitute!

“‘ “I am filled with great anger against you,” announces the Lord and King.“ Just look at all the things you are doing! You are acting like a prostitute who has no shame at all.

“ How sick is your heart, declares the Lord God, because you did all these things, the deeds of a brazen prostitute,

“ What a sick heart you have, says the Sovereign Lord, to do such things as these, acting like a shameless prostitute.

“‘ How your heart was inflamed with lust— the declaration of the Lord GOD— when you did all these things, the acts of a brazen prostitute,

“ How feverish is your heart,” declares the Lord God,“ while you do all these things, the action of a bold prostitute!

“ How degenerate is your heart!” says the Lord God,“ seeing you do all these things, the deeds of a brazen harlot.

“ How your heart was inflamed with lust”— the declaration of the Lord God—“ when you did all these things, the acts of a brazen prostitute,

How weak is thine heart, saith the Lord GOD, seeing thou doest all these[ things], the work of an imperious whorish woman;

“‘ How sick is your heart, declares the sovereign LORD, when you perform all of these acts, the deeds of a bold prostitute.

“‘“ How weak is your heart,” says the Lord Yahweh,“ since you do all these things, the work of an impudent prostitute;

Therefore the showers have been withholden, and there hath been no latter rain; yet thou hadst a harlot’s forehead, thou refusedst to be ashamed.

For my people are foolish, they know me not; they are sottish children, and they have no understanding; they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge.

The ox knoweth his owner, and the ass his master’s crib; but Israel doth not know, my people doth not consider.

The foolish woman is clamorous; She is simple, and knoweth nothing.

The show of their countenance doth witness against them; and they declare their sin as Sodom, they hide it not. Woe unto their soul! for they have done evil unto themselves.

( She is clamorous and wilful; Her feet abide not in her house:Now she is in the streets, now in the broad places, And lieth in wait at every corner.)So she caught him, and kissed him, And with an impudent face she said unto him:

Be astonished, O ye heavens, at this, and be horribly afraid, be ye very desolate, saith Jehovah.For my people have committed two evils: they have forsaken me, the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.

And she said unto him, How canst thou say, I love thee, when thy heart is not with me? thou hast mocked me these three times, and hast not told me wherein thy great strength lieth.And it came to pass, when she pressed him daily with her words, and urged him, that his soul was vexed unto death.

With her much fair speech she causeth him to yield; With the flattering of her lips she forceth him along.

And there came one of the seven angels that had the seven bowls, and spake with me, saying, Come hither, I will show thee the judgment of the great harlot that sitteth upon many waters;with whom the kings of the earth committed fornication, and they that dwell in the earth were made drunken with the wine of her fornication.And he carried me away in the Spirit into a wilderness: and I saw a woman sitting upon a scarlet- colored beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and decked with gold and precious stone and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations, even the unclean things of her fornication,and upon her forehead a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF THE HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. And when I saw her, I wondered with a great wonder.
