You also committed shameful acts with the people of Assyria. Nothing ever seemed to satisfy you. You could never get enough.

You have prostituted yourself with the Assyrians, too. It seems you can never find enough new lovers! And after your prostitution there, you still were not satisfied.

Then you engaged in prostitution with the Assyrian men because you were not satisfied. Even though you did this with them, you were still not satisfied.

Moreover, you committed prostitution with the Assyrians because you were not satisfied; you committed prostitution with them and still were not satisfied.

You also played the harlot with the Assyrians, because you were insatiable; indeed you played the harlot with them and still were not satisfied.

Thou hast played the harlot also with the Assyrians, because thou wast insatiable; yea, thou hast played the harlot with them, and yet thou wast not satisfied.

Then you engaged in prostitution with the Assyrian men because you were not satisfied. Even though you did this with them, you were still not satisfied.

You engaged in prostitution with the Assyrians because your sexual desires were insatiable; you prostituted yourself with them and yet you were still not satisfied.

亚哈斯派使者到亚述王提革拉‧毗列色那里，说：“我是你的仆人，你的儿子。现在亚兰王和以色列王攻击我，求你上来，救我脱离他们的手。”

人必将牛犊带到亚述，当作礼物献给大王。以法莲必蒙羞，以色列必因自己的计谋惭愧。

亚哈斯王到大马士革迎接亚述王提革拉‧毗列色，在大马士革看见一座坛。亚哈斯王把坛的规模和样式，以及作法的细节，送到乌利亚祭司那里。乌利亚祭司照着亚哈斯王从大马士革所送来的一切，在亚哈斯王还未从大马士革回来之前，筑了一座坛。王从大马士革回来，看见坛，走近坛前，在坛上献祭。他烧燔祭和素祭，献浇酒祭，将平安祭牲的血洒在坛上。他移动耶和华面前的铜坛，从殿的前面，新坛和耶和华殿的中间，搬到新坛的北边。亚哈斯王吩咐乌利亚祭司说：“早晨的燔祭、晚上的素祭，王的燔祭、素祭，国内众百姓的燔祭、素祭、浇酒祭都要烧在大坛上。燔祭牲和其他祭牲的血全都要洒在这坛上。至于铜坛，我要作求问之用。”乌利亚祭司就照着亚哈斯王所吩咐的一切做了。亚哈斯王把盆座四面的嵌边拆下来，把盆从座上挪下来，又将铜海从驮铜海的铜牛上搬下来，放在石板铺的地上。他为了亚述王的缘故，在耶和华的殿里移动殿里为安息日所盖的遮棚和王从外面进来的入口。

现今你为何在埃及路上喝西曷河的水呢？为何在亚述路上喝大河的水呢？

你为何东奔西跑改变你的道路呢？你必因埃及蒙羞，像从前因亚述蒙羞一样。

他向那攻击他的大马士革的神明献祭，说：“因为亚兰王的神明帮助他们，我也要向这些神明献祭，好让它们帮助我。”但那些神明却使他和全以色列败亡。

亚述王提革拉‧毗列色来攻击他，不帮助他，反倒欺负他。亚哈斯从耶和华殿里和王宫中，以及众领袖家中取财宝送给亚述王，也无济于事。

那时，亚哈斯王派人去求亚述诸王来帮助他，

她恋慕亚述人，就是省长和副省长，披挂整齐的战士，骑着马的骑士，全都是俊美的年轻人。我看见她被污辱，姊妹二人同行一路。阿荷利巴又加增淫行，她看见墙上刻有人像，就是鲜红色的迦勒底人雕刻的像。它们腰间系着带子，头上有飘扬的裹头巾，都是将军的样子，巴比伦人的形像；迦勒底是他们的出生地。阿荷利巴一看见就恋慕他们，派遣使者往迦勒底他们那里去。巴比伦人来到她那里，上了她爱情的床，与她行淫污辱她。她被污辱，随后她的心却与他们生疏。这样，她既暴露淫行，暴露下体；我的心就与她生疏，像先前与她的姊姊生疏一样。她仍继续增添淫行，追念她年轻时在埃及地行淫的日子，恋慕情人的身壮精足，如驴似马。这样，你就渴望年轻时的淫荡；那时，埃及人因你年轻时的胸怀，抚弄你的乳房。”

“阿荷拉归我之后却仍行淫，恋慕所爱的人，就是亚述人，都是战士，穿着蓝衣，作省长、副省长，全都是俊美的年轻人，骑着马的骑士。阿荷拉与亚述人中所有的美男子放纵淫行，她因拜所恋慕之人的一切偶像，玷污了自己。她从埃及的时候，就没有离开过淫乱；因为她年轻时，有人与她同寝，抚弄她少女的乳房，和她纵欲行淫。因此，我把她交在她所爱的人手中，就是她所恋慕的亚述人手中。
